~Back at the Singing Books Herb Shop~
Alistair's eyes couldn't help but roam up and down Amiria's body, taking in her shape and appearance. She was more stunning then he could of ever imagined. He knew she wasn't really a God like he thought when he was a child, but seeing her in person made him doubt himself.
Maybe she really was a god after all. Her appearance was almost otherworldly, not to mention the vast powers he knew she had.
He quickly shook his head in attempt to shake loose his strange thoughts. What was he thinking? This was the woman that made him smell like rotten fish for a whole week for teasing Mikel alittle. No one would spar with him the entire time he smelled! Don't let that pretty face fool you, Alistair! This woman was more like a devil then a God!
Amiria studied Alistair's expressions, and watched as his eyes wondered her body. How funny. He really was still the child from back then.
With a flirtatious smile, Amiria teasingly called out to him.
"Alistair, you shouldn't be looking at an unmarried woman in such ways. If you think such thoughts about me then I might have to punish you." She casually winked at him, making his face blush a bright red color.
"Mistress! You dont need to pick on me to such an extent!" His whole demeanor became awkward and highly embarrassed. His feel almost seemed to move on their own as he quickly turned on his heels to make a speedy escape.
Just as he was about to run, he was faced with a strange man in a white robe and long black hair. The man had an evil expression, and his dark eyes held killer intent that could make someone sick from the sight.
The once flustered Alistair became a brick wall between his Mistress and the strange man. His reflexes were surprisingly fast for someone as muscler and big as Alistair was, showing he had gone threw advanced training.
Zevran studied the man standing between him and his woman with hatred clearly showing in his eyes. Who was this red headed punk? Who was he to Amiria to look at her in such a way. He should scoop those nasty eyes right from their sockets.
Alistair glared at the man, one arm still out tenderly protecting the woman behind him. This man looked powerful, maybe too powerful, but there was no way he would allow this man to pass him.
Just as both of them were about to rip eachother apart, Amiria's music like voice echoed across the room.
" Zevran, dont pick a fight in my store, it's bad for business."
Her words brought on another wave of shock to Alistair, making him glance back and forth from the pair confusedly. She knew this monster of a man? Why was there a man with her in the first place?
Zevran face lightened at the sound of her voice, making his murderous looking face turn kind and loving.
"Of course, my dear WIFE. If my WIFE says so then I will listen." He purposely empathized the word 'wife' each time he said it to childishly make his status clear.
Alistair's head began to spin. and his stomach dropped to his feet. His wife? Who was his wife? Whas he talking about his Mistress? He was away from her side for a couple days and she goes and gets married to some strang man??
Alistair hand cupped his forehead from the sudden shock, and his limbs suddenly felt heavy. His voice came out as if he hadn't slept in a week. It sounded like he was drained of all his strength and was extremely tired.
"Mistress... if you would please excuse me... I need to go train now.."
Still holding his forehead with his hand, he slowly walked around Zevran and out the door her came in. Each step more defeated the the last.
Amiria watch as Alistair childishly sulked out of the room, and could help but chuckes at him. He might of became strong physically, but mentally he still acted like a child. She didnt feel the need to correct what Zevran said just yet. She would tease Alistair alittle longer.
With Alistair now gone, she turned her sights to the handsome man standing coyly infront of her.
"That wasn't very nice of you." She chuckled.
His smile was full of wicked charm and his laugh echoed threw her bones.
"No one said I needed to be nice to my competition! How will I win if I just let him be?"
Mikel quietly tugged at the hem of her skirt, catching her by surprise. So he was watching the show too? She was surprised he didnt rush to Alistair's defense considering how close they seemed to be. But instead his little eyes looked up at her sadly and his lower lip puffed out.
"Mistress.. You promised me you would marry me when I got big enough."
Haha! What a silly little boy. Warmth filled her heart and she bent down and picked up her pouting child.
"I cant marry my apprentice." she teased. "But you dont have to worry, when the time comes I'll let you choose my husband for me." She smiled at him and lightly poked him on the nose with her finger.
