Chapter 20 - Star-light Colored Hair

It didnt take long before the Guild members began to notice Amiria and her group. After all, she had one of those faces that could draw in a crowd's attention without even meaning to.

They had never seen such a beauty before. Her silver eyes and matching long silver hair was incredibly rare. Most people were born with black or brown colored hair and eyes, and it was unheard of for someone to posses such a stunning color naturally . She looked like the embodiment of the brightest star's light.

Not only was she such a rare beauty, but even the people that accompanied her were unique.

A small boy with cat-like ears and chubby cheeks clung childishly to the stunning woman's hip, and the man standing behind them had striking facial features and a domineering aura that radiated around him, making him seem almost demonic and extremely terrifying.

The men in the crowd couldn't help but feel if they stared at the woman for too long then the man behind her would end their lives right where they stood. They subconsciously averted their eyes and began to busy themselves with their chores to avoid an untimely death.

Amiria's crystal clear voice suddenly broke the silence in the room, her tone elegant but still loud enough for everyone in the room to hear her without trouble.

"I know many of you have never seen your master's face, but as of today that is no longer true."

The crowd began to murmur amongst themselves, a mixture of surprise and excitement showing clear on their faces. Their attention was drawn to the beautiful girl, and they could feel a mystic and powerful aura radiating from her charming body. Everything about this girl looked like a powerful leader, and none doubted her words.

The quickly shut their mouths, eagar for her to continue speaking.

"You will never have to go without now that I am here. I built the Thives Guild to not only improve all of our lives, but so we could gain our revenge for those who drove us to live a life of criminals. You're problems are now my problems. Your family's are now my family."

Her words touched each of their hearts deeply. What kind of master would treat her followers with such kindness to even go as far as make their family her own? It was unheard to have such a benevolent Master who seemed to actually care for them.

A spark of admiration and respect filled their souls wholeheartedly, and each of them silently vowed their undying loyalty to her instantly. She might be a young woman, but they could tell just from one look at her that they wouldn't regret serving her.

Now with her speech out of the way, Amiria felt a sense of peace. She could see in her Guild members eyes that they would follow her to hell if need be, and she felt extremely pleased by it.

She skillfully scanned the room for the familiar face of her favorite ginger haired Knight. When she finally locked eyes with him, she noticed that he was silently trying to sneak out of the main room without anyone noticing him.

He thinks I'll just let him go without any trouble at all? How precious!

"Alistair! Where do you think your going in such a hurry? As my right hand man, you should be showing me to my courtyard."

Alistair froze in place at the sound of her voice, and he could feel his face began to burn from her suddenly calling him out infront of so many people. And she told everyone that he was her right hand man!

He wanted to live a peaceful and quiet life, but now he could kiss his dreams goodbye. Not only did she call him out, but she even went as far as calling him her right hand man! That was pretty much saying he was second in command there.

He had no doubt that people would be lined up out side his room now trying to get in his good graces. When there is power, there will always be those who want to use it to their own advantages.

His face flushed and he couldn't help but feel the need to clear his throat out with an awkward cough before answering her properly.

"Of course, I was just simply making sure the path would be clear for you! I wouldn't dare leave you to find it on your own!"

He quickly made it threw the crowd of people, and did a small but awkward looking bow when he reached her.

"This way." His voice held strong, but alittle flustered. No one in the room was able to pick up on his sudden bashfulness but his master her self. She couldn't help but let out a small snicker in his expense.
