Then, the wedding ceremony started. The chapel doors opened, along with the bridal chorus. The couple walked together towards the altar. After the exchange of vows, followed by the rings, "I now pronounce you, husband and wife! "
Peter kissed Scarlett. When they turned towards everyone watching them, Scarlett saw nothing out of the ordinary. But Peter saw a certain someone from the past.
His "past self", was standing at the doors, clapping his hands along with the guests, and smiling maniacally. Peter can see him, but the others don't. He slightly frowned but he hid it good.
Then his past self, shortly after seeing them, went back outside, "What's he up to? " Peter thought.
The newly weds walk down the altar, straight to the doors. Peter was busy saying "thank you'd" to the "congratulations! " everywhere, but his mind was on his "past self", roaming about just outside.
When they went past through the doors, there were still a few guests outside, sending them their congratulations. Peter took a look around. He nothing. But later, he heard a similar rumbling of an engine. This time, everyone heard it. They looked at every direction, hoping to find the sounds' origin.
In the corner of Peter's eye, he saw a massive figure, coming from the horizon, slowly closing in, "Tsk! Here he comes... " the ground started to slightly shake. Some of the guests, slightly panicked, thinking it was a quake.
"Calm down! Calm down, everyone! " Otto was trying to convince the crowd to listen, but no use. Then the next thing everyone knew, was a massive tank slowly approaching them. Covered in pitch black camouflage, it stopped just in front of them
"Oi! Rascal! What's the meaning of this?! " Father Devonshire angrily asked from beside. But he too noticed, Peter has nothing to do with it, judging from his expression, "The Stalvormund... "
Scarlett got scared. Violet stood beside her, with Peter protecting both of them. Then, the tank's hatch slowly opened, then somebody slowly came out. The tank was separated from them by quite a distance, so the man's face wasn't seen. But Peter knew who it was, "Let me show you the true meaning of fear! " then the massive gun aimed towards them
"Get down! " Peter yelled. The frightening 88' cannon fired a round. Peter protected the two girls beside him. The sergeant pulled Father Devonshire aside, Otto and Ryker jumped out of the fence, and some others made their own reactions.
The next thing happened, was nothing. Peter opened his eyes, and saw no damage. The tank as well, vanished as if it weren't there, but there were prints of the tracks on the grass
"Where'd it go? "
"Where is it? "
"What the hell is that? "
Everyone got confused over what happened, but they resumed the occasion immediately as if nothing happened, after realizing danger was no more.
Peter and Scarlett boarded their car, and went straight somewhere. Scarlett thought, that they were headed towards the same mansion where Peter and Otto was staying. But she noticed, they were driving towards a different direction, which is also familiar, "Darling? Where we headed? "
"Who knows? "
Just as she realized, they were headed the same road towards Parker's and Violet's place. A little later, Parker's bungalow can be seen from the horizon. Scarlett looked at it, not until they passed by it. She felt that the car had stopped.
They stopped in front of a mansion, just beside her bestfreind's house, "Darling? This..."
"Home sweet home, my Dear! " Peter smiled
Then, the car that sent them their, drove straight to the garage beside the mansion, "Huh? "
"Yep. That's our personal car. " then the driver came out it, and walked towards them, "This is Gustav. He'll be driving for from now on. "
"I shall take you anywhere, Madam! " said Gustav with a slight bow. Then Peter took Scarlett inside. But before he could enter, he turned towards Gustav,
"Hey, don't you dare think that I forgot, you and Kurfürst abandoned us years ago... " with those words, Gustav felt a cold chill ran down his spine
"Y-Yeah... "
Peter led Scarlett towards their room, "Get changed first, then I'll show you around. " he said pointing at a large closet on one corner. Scarlett opened it, and saw dozens of dresses hanging inside. It was from of her favorite brand, and of her favorite colors
"Wow! Since when you got these? "
"Just last week. I asked Little Pat what are your likes. Well, she only knew your brand, but not the styles, so I bought everything in the shop. " sigh... Pathetic Peter. Scarkett was already your wife, yet you still don't know her!
"Ah... Wait, what?! You bought everything in the shop?! "
"Uh, yeah... " aaaarrrggghh! Are your parents both dumb, Müller?!
Scarlett was about to change, when she realized something. She turned around, and saw Peter also changing, just on the other side of the bed! She suddenly burned red
"Sigh... If you think this is embarrassing, aren't we already husband and wife? And it's not like I'll do anything to you. You're pregnant after all, right? "
A few minutes later, the husband and wife went out of the room, in their home clothes. Peter was wearing a pair of trousers, and a plain white polo shirt. Suddenly, he noticed Scarlett was wearing her lady-like maternity dress, patterned with flowers.
"Huh? You're not... " well, he was expecting her to wear the violet dress that once caught his eye
"No. My belly's starting to get bigger. I might discomfort our child so... "
"Fine then. "
Peter led Scarlett by the hand, and took her around the mansion. He showed her the restaurant-like kitchen, the humongous shower room, the dining area, well, he already showed her the bedroom, and when they reached the living room, another new guy appeared, "Butler Kurfürst. " Peter introduced. Behind him, were four housekeepers, "Just call him Kurfürst, okay? There's no problem with it, right? Kurfürst? " he was smiling at Kurfürst, but a dark murderous aura can be seen emitting from him
"Y-Yeah... No problem sir! "
"You and Gustav. Prepare yourselves for later... " he whispered
Peter led Scarlett to the backyard. It had a pool on one side, and a vegetable garden on the other, "You can walk around here, if you got bored inside. There's a swing on the other side of the garden. If you're tired, you can rest there. "
Scarlett noted every word of his. After a long tour, pregnant Scarlett got exhausted, "Wanna take a nap? "
"Mmm... "
"Eat first. "
"Eeeehhh?! " just as she thought she get to rest, she was ordered to eat. Peter cooked something for her. He made light main course, along with Scarlett's favorite sides. After lunch was served, he fed Scarlett.
Behind the shadows, "Eeehhh? Aren't Master and Madam too loving? "
"Yeah! I wish I'll find someone like him! "
"Hey! Lower your voice! The Master might hear us! "
Too bad, he already sensed their presence. He gazed at them from the side, that made them run from fear.
After finishing her food, her husband sent her back to the bedroom. He laid her on the bed, and covered her with a blanket, "Sleep tight, my Dear. " he said as he kissed her forehead.
Then he went downstairs. He looked for something. No, someone to be exact. He walked towards to ceiling to floor window, and pulled Kurfürst out from behind the curtains, "Aaahhh! Let me go! Forgive me! Please! Lieutenant Müller! " then he headed for the garage
When they reached outside, Peter walked towards their car. He reached for something from under, and dragged Gustav out, "Aaaahhh! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! " then he shoved the both of them on one side. He locked down the garage, and turned towards them with killing intent
"Well, let's start your first day with... Pain! " he said as he snapped his fingers
"Aaaaaaaaaahhh! "
Peter went back to the restaurant, after beating the two to pulps. He told one of the maids to prepare warm milk for Scarlett, once she wakes up. Even for newly weds, Peter was busy.
He became the president of Lindemann corporations, while Otto became the big boss, pulling the strings from behind. He had to attend a meeting about opening another restaurant branch on a neighboring city, and Otto was thinking of buying the apartment where they live before, and turn it into a hotel.
Back home, Scarlett woke up just when the sun came down. She went downstairs, but she didn't saw her husband, "Eh? Where's Hubby? " eh?! Since when you started calling Peter "Hubby"?!
"The Master was out for some business, but we were told that he would be back before dinner. " said Kurfürst, with bandages all over his face, and his right arm hanging from his neck
"A-Are you okay? "
"Tip-top shape, Madam! "
Scarlett obediently waited for Peter in the living room and when he arrived, dinner just got finished, "Let's eat! "
This time, Peter let Scarlett eat on her own, but under his supervision. Their first day as husband and wife, went flawless, and everything went smoothly. Their house got its own housekeepers, they got a driver, and many more that could help them in their daily lives.
But as for now, Scarlett was more focused on her pregnancy. She should stay healthy, and keep herself from stresses. Staying more at home was the best she could do, and count after six months and a half.
