Winter, Spring, and Summer have passed. Scarlett was now on her ninth month, and was now counting. She and Peter were blessed with a prince, which they named Freiderich, "Get out of there already will ya? " said Peter to Freiderich in Scarlett's womb, "You're giving your mom a hard time, you know? " she and Peter were taking a rest on the backyard, since it's Sunday.
"Here you go again! Bullying your son! "
"Wha-? I am not! " he complained
Scarlett stood up, and saw Violet, from the neighboring house. She was reading something, while Parker was beside her, playing with their big dog. Violet saw hee as well, and went over the fence to have a chat. "
"Wanna go somewhere? " Scarlett proposed
"Mmm! That would be fun! "
Them two begged their own hubbies to take them on a theme park, "No! " both said
Heh, time to unleash the secret weapon. Both girls sadly lowered their heads, "Eh? Scarlett? "
"Violet? "
Next, tears started rolling down their cheeks, "O-Oi! "
"You crying? Oi, its just...! " the two started to panic
Next, they turned their backs on them, "Ah! Fine! " they finally said
"Really?! Yay! " haha, success! There was still one more move they would do, if ever the men still refused to let them. They would say "I hate you! ", but who would've thought, they'll give in immediately.
They used Peter's car, since Parker's, broke down again. Parker directed to a park near Charles River. Both girls took a walk, with their hubbies at their tails.After walking for some time, they came across someone, "Big Brother Otto! "
"Eh? Violet! And Scarlett? What are you doing here? " then he glanced behind them. He saw two hulking "bodyguards" ready to kill anyone who touches their girls
"Taking a walk! " Violet answered
"Same here... " then he walked towards the two behind them, "Happy wife... " he started grinning
"... Happy life...! " they continued with dark faces.
The two girls walked until both got exhausted, "Satisfied? " Peter asked them
"Nope! We still wanna eat! "
"Sigh... You shouldn't have asked them, you idiot! "
"Well, I wanna eat- " just as Scarlett was about to say what she wants, Violet suddenly felt her belly, tighten, "Eh? Violet? What's wro- " soon after, she too, felt it.
The two men who were standing nearby suddenly froze, "The baby's coming! "
"Don't just stand there and freak out, take us to the hospital! " Violet yelled at them
Each men picked their own pregnant wives up, making quite a scene at the park. Peter even nearly dropped the car keys in panic, "Hurry up will you?! "
"I am, I already am! "
Parker sat at the backseat, with the two laboring women, calming them down, "It's alright, it's alright. Hey! Drive faster! You drive like an old lady! "
"Get out of the way, goddammit! " Peter was yelling at some of the vehicles up front, driving like a slowpoke. His horns kept sounding nonstop.
Otto wondered what's going on, so he followed behind them. Peter drove at full speed, almost hitting everything in the way. Good thing, Otto was an elite driver so, he can keep up with Peter's driving.
Peter drove straight at the front of the emergency room. He was dripping from sweat, and his knees were jelly. He could hardly even speak to the hospital staff, but they could understand the situation.
They took the two pregnant women to the maternity ward, and asked the two men to stay outside, "Huh?! How can we leave them, while they're in pain?! "
Just as they were about to destroy the maternity ward doors, Otto stopped them in time, "Calm down, both of you, dammit! "
"IN WHAT WAY, CAN WE CALM DOWN?! "
Parker and Peter almost went berserk, with Otto nearly getting killed, "Someone help me, for God's sake, dammit! " most of the nurses passing by, were too afraid to help, much more come near.
Otto finally reached his limit, "Shuddup both of you, dammit! " he struck the sides of their necks, knocking them out, "Sigh... You're gonna kill me! "
After a few minutes, the two regained consciousness, but they find themselves tied up, "Cause me more trouble, I'll blow your brains off! " said Otto aiming his Lugger at them. They didn't move, not because they're being threatened, but because they've already calmed down, and they're restrained by ropes.
After making sure they won't go wild again, he removed the ropes off them. It would be too cruel for them to stay like that. Inside the maternity ward, they could hear their wives' pain. They knew they might go uncontrolled again, they covered their ears.
Since they're covering their ears, they are hearing nothing, but Otto heard that the women's painful screams, had stopped. Then their was a moment of silence. Otto's heart skipped a beat, "What could've happened? "
The next thing he heard, was two soft cries from inside the ward. He slightly slapped the two in the shoulders. They removed their hands from their ears, and heard the cries too, but it stopped. Then two nurses, each carying a newborn child in their arms. They were about to ask who the fathers are, they remembered there were two of them, "Who is Mr. Müller? " one asked
"And Mr. Doss? " the other asked
"Müller. " Peter raised his hand
"Doss here. " Parker said
The two nurses gave the children to their fathers. Peter had trouble, since he have no experience. The nurse taught him how to carry his child, and finally learned after a few minutes.
Parker was used to it, since back during the war, he carried infants while rescuing them. He and Violet were blessed with such a cute little princess. He glanced at Peter who had his pinky, being held by Freiderich, "Can we go in now? " he asked
"You may, you may! "
The two men entered the ward, with their children in their arms. Both Violet and Scarlett were exhausted, and drained of all their strength. Peter laid Freiderich beside Scarlett, "Well done, my Dear... " Scarlett became teary eyed, as she stroked her son's head
On the other side, "Linda... Here is your mother! " Parker said to his child. Violet slightly embraced her newly born child, and cried. Both children were born healthy. On that day, two beautiful souls were brought to Earth.
An hour later, both women were transferred to two separate private wards. Even for a newborn child, baby Freiderich sure do ate a lot. Right after they were transferred to the room, he started drinking her mother's milk nonstop. Then after drinking his fill, he dozed off.
On the other room, Linda was energized. She kept playing with her father's hand, and laughed a lot. She only ate a few, requested playing with everyone in the room, including the nurse.
After a week, Violet and Scarlett already went home. Instead of only themselves and their husbands, they also came home with their newborn kids.
Mrs. Lockwood was overjoyed. Baby Linda reacted the way she expected, very happy and energetic. She would play with everyone, wearing a big smile in her face.
On the other hand, Freiderich was such a snobber. He rufesed looking, much more interact with everyone, except his parents. He only allowed his mother to carry him, or else he would cry nonstop. He even snobbed his father once.
Suddenly one day, Violet and Parker were moving, "Eh?! You already leaving me?! " Scarlett cried
"N-No! Haha... It's just some work-related stuff of Parker. Nothing last forever I guess. " Violet moved away, somewhere near the Devonshire household. It was near the train station, because Parker can't keep getting late everyday
Ever since he quit the army, he started working in New York. Since after, Scarlett's only way keeeping touch with Violet was through the telephone.
Freiderich grew up, staying only in the mansion, without much interaction with the outer world. He would've, if Violet didn't move away. He could have Linda as his playmate or anything similar, but now they're gone.
The sun's rays would only touch Freiderich's skin, twice or thrice in a week. He can always be seen in the living room, reading something. He started reading like a six-year-old kid at age three. And he mastered cursive writing at age five, just as he started kindergarten.
During his first day at school, he was very much isolated with the other children, and only minded his own business. Scarlett noticed, that he have an excellent handwriting, so she had Peter buy him a diary. The whole day, everyday in class, he writes everything he do, he sees, he feels, or just anything that comes in his mind.
His teacher got worried about his social skills, but Freiderich just snobbed her. Yeah, he might have a little- no. Very advanced way of thinking than the other kids, but that doesn't mean that he should ignore them.
The teacher told Scarlett about it, and she talked it out with him, "They plain boring. They know nothing but play, read childish stuff, and get loud. " he replied
Scarlett have no choice but let it be. Well, it's not like he have zero communication with them. Like when asking or borrowing something, but he won't speak more than ten sentences a day.
