I stared with blank eyes back at him, he grabbed my arm and swiftly guided me away from all the destruction. His calm expression had me kind of put off but I had to trust him, no matter what.
The week past and we collected around 4 silver coins, 2 big copper and 6 small copper coins, all, of course, was being kept with Aaron. After that week we bid our fair wells to the Inn owners earning small tears and smiles from them both, they had also invited us back again if we ever stopped by in this town. Though unfortunately, I don't believe that we will in the future, but we still gave them false promises.
We were off once again, through the forest and over small rivers, Aaron guided me away from the towns even the villages but all the while he never left me by myself.
It's now been 3 years since my brother died, 2 years since my mother past and a year since I and Aaron met. By now we have settled down in a forest far from anyone in a great wide but somewhat shallow cave. Illustrious moss and bright green vines wrapped their selves around the entrance and with the extra added trees and bushes it helped create a good camouflage home, so even if there was ever a person around they would hardly be able to find us.
Right now I was sewing clothes from rabbit hide for the soon to be approaching winter while Aaron went out and tested his new and improved bow and arrows.
"There was a little girl who was once left alone. She strives to find the light but matter what she did the darkness consumed her. Angles whispered of a gift of freedom." I sang lightly to lyrics that I had created long ago, long ago when I was alone with no one left by my side. Remembering this caused tears to trickle down my cheeks.
"Hey, what's wrong Jill?" Aaron's voice jolted me out of my self-pitying, whipping my eyes roughly I smiled and said it was nothing just remembering my family. With a slight smile, he kissed me once again.
"We can always create one of our own?"
"What do you mean?" I was extremely confused. "Do you mean by asking a stark to give us one!?" excitement filled my eyes as they sparkled up at him.
"What? Jill, how do you think babies are created?"
"They come from stark's right?"
With a hefty sigh, Aaron dragged his catch of the day inside the cave while he mumbled many complaints and leaving me alone wondering what I did.
