3RD PERSON'S POV
As Elyse expected, many people filled their school for the Intramurals. They have a week Intramurals and it will surely be fun.
It is the third day and her favorite sport is about to begin.
She walked towards the field.
There are four people who signed for that sport, including her. Surely, she can get a trophy for this year's competition again.
She followed when the third player was finished, she calmed her nerves and mind.
Many students cheered on her especially her friends. Some Steinfield students too.
"Go Elyse! You can do it!" Yaz shouted and received a strike on the nape from Evonne.
Yaz might disturb her but Elyse ignored it and turned her attention to the target.
She stanced herself and calculated the angle well.
As soon as she released the arrow, it directly hit the center of the target. Bull's eye. She repeat it twice and it turned out the same.
They all clapped in unison.
She looked at the scoreboard and saw that she's the one leading.
Archery has been her favorite. She excel in it. Well in fact, it's the only sport she excels.
She looked at Hank who's seriously watching the game the whole time. She winked at him but in return, she got a squink and turned his back against her, walking away from the crowd.
She just scoffed and rolled her eyes too before placing the bow.
'Looks like I got snobbed.'
"You're good." Elyse looked at the girl who said that, she's wearing a heavy makeup that made her a clown and she thought she's about her age. The girl is currently aiming the arrow towards the target.
Her forehead wrinkled because it was the first she saw her.
"But... I'm better." After that, she released the arrow and it also hit the bull's eye. Following the two more arrows that also led to the center of the target.
Well, she hate to admit it but she's good. Unfortunately, the girl was wrong when she said she's better than her.
'Who the hell is this clown bitch?'
Elyse asked herself.
The girl smiled and turned to her that made her annoyed. The clown-face offered a handshake.
"Hi. I am Hailey Castro."
