3RD PERSON'S POV
IT was Saturday morning. Elyse was still dreaming from her deep sleep when her phone suddenly rang.
"Urgh! Not again!" She quietly grabbed her phone at the table and answered the call.
"Ye? (Yes?) What do you need, Enford? Did you know that you just disturbed me from my good sleep?!" Her eyes were still close when she's saying that, she needs more sleep.
"Elyse Seo Stone. You're yelling at your mother now, huh?" She immediately opened her eyes at the sound from the other side. She looked at the name's caller. Her eyes suddenly grew.
'Crap. It's Mom!'
"Oh Mom, it's you. Sorry you had to hear that. I thought it was that annoying Enford." She said and laughed nervously. Her mom is really intimidating, you know. You'll shake your knees upon seeing her.
"Whatever, Elyse. Just come into my office immediately." Her mother said that made her rolled her eyes.
Everytime her Mom calls her to the office, she says unimportant announcement that can really be told at the phone. Like seriously, she really can't understand her Mom. Her energy's just wasted on an unimportant notice by her mother.
Maybe it's the effect of being divorced with Elyse's Dad.
"Okay, fine." Her Mom ended the call and she rolled her eyes for the nth time.
She got up from her bed and went to the bathroom.
'Waste of energy again.'
"I CALLED you for today because you have to prepare for a family dinner with my bestfriend's family tonight. Look presentable and elegant. And watch your manners too." Elyse's face turned pale as her Mom was saying that.
She's sure that it's connected to dates, arrange marriages, and stuffs. She mentally rolled her eyes.
She just doesn't want the guys her Mom liked for her. Too boring. She wants the opposite of it.
"I have a gig with my friends tonight, I won't make it Mom." As she said that, her Mom's eyebrow raised.
"Okay, your bank accounts and cards will be freezed. Go then." Her eyes grew. Geez, blackmailing again. Her mom knew she couldn't do without her cards so she definitely agreed to come with dinner.
"Geez, fine!" She exclaimed and pouted. She crossed her arms and slightly gritted her teeth.
"Are you yelling at me?" Her Mom's brow raised. Elyse shooked her head.
"Whose house will we go? Seems important."
"It's the Collins. And yes, they are really important so don't do things that will embarass you." Her forehead creased.
An idea popped into her mind. She smirked.
'Collins, huh? Hank Collins, I'll make sure to teach you a lesson.'
