Mikayla is like a fish out of water. He worries that the zombie might fall. He didn't realise that he already siding with the night creature. Later when he is being asked, he will not hesitate to choose which side he wants to go to.
"Master, he is a Grade SS magician. He lived longer than you and stronger than you. With your puny Grade D level just sit here and be a good kid. You only add problems to him." Amory lecture hits Mikayla's heart, critically.
Mikayla sits there sulkily. He continues to observe the battle. Like Amory said the zombie might be in pinch but he didn't lose to the human and his monkeys. Their battle entered a new level. The zombie increases his speed and counters the attacks.
Mikayla the puny Grade D level magician unable to follow the battle with his eyes. Amory is giving live commentary about the battle. He seems to enjoy the battle.
"Master, he gives an elbow to human number three. Then, he directly kicked human number two in front of him."
"Ohhhh! Master! The club is flying. I repeat it's flying. It a spirit weapon. Woah!"
"Master, the humans manage to land hits on the zombie. The zombie cough blood. Wait! did zombie has blood? Nevermind. Then, master...."
Mikayla rubs his face. He feels so frustrated. He can't do anything, can't run, can't see. He just waits to die, ah!
Not far from Mikayla hiding spot there are night creatures, one is female and one is a male. Both of them is Grade SS magician. They are sitting there while munching some snack.
"This Grade A brain is not bad."
"Hump! Eating the brain will not increase your intelligence."
"Dear Dory, I'm already smart, no need supplement to increase my intelligence."
"Hey, Hugo, look like Cass can't hold any longer. Want to help him?"
"Let him be, don't destroy his fun. The human just advances to Grade SS. He is no match to Cass, old monster."
"Then, at least let's save the kid."
"What kid?" Hugo drinking the brain juice before throwing the skull.
"There, the one that hides behind the rock. Didn't Thomas told us to prioritise in saving the young ones?"
"Then, let saves him after we finish the bones."
Mikayla tries to observe the battle when there is a formation forming on the ground. Amory turns to see at the back. He throws his spear into the darkness.
"Little fire spirit, we didn't mean any harm." Dory and Hugo come out from the darkness holding the spear.
"Where did you want to transfer us?"
"There is a safe point near here, we are transferring both of you there. It is dangerous for the young one to stay here."
Dory smiles towards Mikayla and he tries his best to smile back at the creepy smiles. Those two ancestors robes are filled with blood. There is blood residual at her hair. She probably used it as a hair conditioner and it is said very effective among the ladies.
"Than...thank you" Mikayla jumps into the formation and safely arrive at the safe point.
North safe point, Mikayla arrive at there. The others stare at him when he arrives. Look like this safe point is a gathering point for the werewolf.
"Hello! I'm Mikayla Blade, the elder just sends me to the nearest safe point. I'll be in your care." Mikayla bows towards them as respect entering their ground. Werewolf is very territorial. One should not enter their land without permission.
"It's alright. There are few other races there. Go stand with them."
"Thank you very much." Mikayla walks towards a small group of ghouls and zombies, there are no vampires here. He nodes at them. Easily mingling with them.
"Yo! you are quite far from your safe point."
"Yes. I was separated when the city is separated in different independent space."
"Haih! Many still trapped inside the city. Did you know? I heard Ancestor of Grade SS come out from their coffin to fight tonight."
A friendly zombie talks to him. Mikayla starts to narrate how he ends up here omitted Lord Bai. The others listen to his story even the werewolf join them. It lightens the atmosphere. When he first arrived, the werewolf and the others are so tense thinking that enemy has come.
The dawn is approaching in another hour. Mostly all the night creatures in the camp are getting sleepy. Young night creatures like them unable to stay awake during the day for a long time.
"Master! Don't breath! Poison in the air." Amory that stay still on his shoulder suddenly gives warning to Mikayla.
"Awoooooo!" The wolf howling wake up all the night creatures in the camp. "Don't breath!"
One of the older wolves starts chanting to produce a strong wind to carry the poison away.
The older wolves make a circle and the younger night creatures stay in the middle.
"Everyone ready to fight. Stay with the pack. Never fight alone."
A few minutes later, an echo of footsteps can be heard. It sounds like three people are walking. Then, three humans come out from the woods.
Two Grade S magician and one Grade SS magician. All of them are female.
"Disgusting wolves. Let kill them and skin their fur. Winter is approaching."
The wolves growl at them. They are ready to fight. They lunge toward the three female magicians and the fight begins. The humans are proficient in earth magic. They conjure a lot of poisonous plants and use it to fight the wolves. The wolves start to have hallucinations and attacking their kind. Those plant also can move and eat the night creature.
One of them appears in front of Mikayla. He uses his sword to cut the plant and Amory burn the plant. He also starts to feel dizzy because of the poison. The talkative zombie falls because of poison. His pale face turns black.
"Are you alright?" Mikayla is panicking.
"Master don't worry, his body automatically shut down his body to counter the poison. He will not easily die. Focus on yourself. I will burn any poison or plant that come."
The three humans that sit on a big flower petal laugh seeing the night creature fend themselves from the plant and the poison.
