Mikayla didn't join the second night hunting. He is resting and heard about Ronald and Dylan being punished by Rinne. Mikayla sigh and thought how careless he is. He took them lightly and this allows them to attack. He is too weak.
In the darkness, shadow moving from one tree to another tree. They are eyeing the night creatures. Ulises leads his group into the forest. He and the other use a spell to make the heads that they harvest yesterday to float and follow them. Each of them has their own head following them.
"I receive information regarding yesterday's weapon. It is confirmed that servants are under the protection of the vampire hunter," said Ulises.
"It is getting more fun. It is the second time for me to meet the vampire hunter," said Lio.
"The blue moon is not perfect without some wild human in our diet," said Kim and showing his fangs.
The others also show anticipation to meet the vampire hunters and their scarlet eyes is redder and their fangs are longer. Ready for any battle with the hunters. They continue into the deep forest with caution.
"Be careful, never underestimate your enemy. They have come prepared," said Ulises.
All of them nodded and make sure to fully cover their body with their black robe. That black robe able to protect them from magical attack.
The clock strike at twelve o'clock and all the vampire hunters begin their mass attack. In the city, at the village and in the forest, all those places are the battlefield between the vampire hunters and the night creature. Many servants and civilians that have a connection with the vampire hunters will use this opportunity to escape at the designated places and waiting to be transported.
Ulises's group encounter with a group of vampire hunter. All of them is staring at each other. The aura from the vampire hunter is as strong as them. Ulises stand in front of the group and release his aura stronger than any of the hunters. The hunters didn't falter but took it as a sign of an attack.
Ulises is fighting with a man that use hammer as his weapon. That man uses his hammer and dash forward while throw his hammer. Ulises manages to dodge but it scratches its face. Ulises did not use another weapon except for his claws and fangs. He didn't show fear, his claws are getting longer and stronger. His claw is shining under the moonlight. Ulises is born without any magical abilities but he has mutated claws and a stronger body. His fangs also contains stronger venom than a normal vampire.
That man follows up with a punch and his hammer fly back to him. Ulises claws at the punch and that man's hand nearly been cut into five pieces if he did not block it with his hammer. Ulises smile and continue to claws at the man. The man falls into a defence position. He is rotating his hammer to block the claws. The man with hammer jumps and took out a few balls and throw it on the ground. Seeing the balls, Ulises rapidly retreat. With so many light ball their robe unable to block it.
"Retreat!!!" shouts Ulises.
The other vampire that hears it respond immediately and retreats but not every vampire manage to retreat and getting burn. The light did not have any effect on the hunter and they take this opportunity to cut the vampire's heads. Cheers can be heard. Ulises and the others are furious, they attacked with fury and madness.
In the darkness of night, the vampire fight with the hunter neck on neck. Punch with a punch and magic with magic. The fight continues for two hours. All of them is panting whether it is the vampire or the hunter all of them already at the end.
Lio licking his lip. He was able to suck some blood from his opponent. It pissed his opponent a lot. The hunters suddenly scatter and jump onto the tree. Ulises and the others shocked with their movement and suddenly from above, silver spears are floating.
Damn! They were careless and walk straight into enemies trap. They are trapped inside a barrier. The spears are pouring like rain and descend onto them. The vampires didn't panic and each of them holding a rose and disappear right before the spear touches them. Their even smile at their opponent and Ulises even ask for second round of battle tomorrow night.
The hunters shout in anger. They thought they can kill all those vampires tonight. They have wasted their time tonight just to lure the vampires here. The man with hammer slams his hammer at where Ulises stand and keep hammering there until a large hole appear. Lio's opponent quickly purifies the venom so that he will not turn into a vampire.
They return to the basement and reported their lose to their leader.
"Is his head is with them?"
"No, even though it is the same group that has killed him but apparently the real killer is not here tonight."
"I thought that the vampire with the strange claws is the killer because he is the one that holds the head yesterday."
"Contact the others and make sure they pay attention to his head. He has volunteer to stay in this continent and rescue as many of our people on this continent. It is an insult to us if we unable to get his head back."
"Yes, leader."
Ulises and his group members safely appear in front of the Blade family castle. There are already a group of doctors and servants to help them. Besides them, the other family members start to appear one by one. The battle with the hunters is fierce.
"Ulises! Report!"
"Three dead and five highly injured."
"Alright after receive your treatment go to the study and report the names of the dead to grandfather Tristan."
That night the Blade family lost twenty of their family member. The sound of cries from the family members can be heard. After reporting the names of the dead, Ulises directly goes to the practice room. Inside the room, he reports all the weapons that the hunter used and how they were trapped before decided to give up.
Mikayla observe from the balcony and see the sad faces of the family members. Those images planted in his memory and remind him that he is on the vampire side. Tomorrow night he might stumble into the vampire hunters.
Mikayla goes to the practice room and meets with Ulises and he told him about tonight battle. Mikayla enters the practise room and read all the information regarding the battle with the hunters tonight. He wants to be ready for his next battle.
