Rinne and the maid shocked to see a group of vampire on the balcony.
"Excuse me, may I know what are you doing here? Is there anything I can help you? said Rinne.
"Ahh! help us... yes. I want your blood and... that little one's blood." said Damien and appear in front of Rinne, sniffing his smell. Lefu walks towards the twins. The rest come in and start eyeing the room.
"Even though there is blood juice in the banquet, we are sick of it," said Shirina. She is licking her lips and pick up pieces of glass that contain blood and lick it. She closes her eyes and tries to savour the blood. "Half-vampire. Your blood is delicious."
The maid protects the twin by holding both of them. "Esteemed guest, please restrain yourself, these twins are the child of our young master that is Mikayla," said Miranda and slowly back off towards the door.
"Mmmm, this child, is the child of that rat. How old is he to have a child? said Lefu. He still shows interest towards the twins."
"A half-vampire, yet so proud. Look at your smug face." Damien is pressuring Rinne with his bloodline power. A pure vampire can subdue a half-vampire and unless one has a strong determination and magic power they will always be under the pure vampire pressure. Rinne may be a half-vampire but he is born with strong magic power on par with the pure vampire and this is how he able to stay proud although not being a pure vampire.
Rinne did not falter under the pressure and slowly let out his pressure. Damien is surprised with Rinne retaliation. Never in his life that a half dare to bare their fang towards him. Damien smile and his white and sharp fangs are on display ready to suck Rinne's blood. Rinne moves towards the twins and pushes Lefu away from the Miranda.
Damien fangs hanging on the air after losing its target. Lefu is pushed quite hard and falls. Rinne and Miranda run towards the door but Zillah is standing guard the door. Seeing that Rinne thought turns to the balcony and windows but all the escape route is blocked. There is a gloomy vampire called Thyone and Orfeo squatting in front of the balcony door.
"MOVE!" Rinne blue eyes turn scarlet, his aura is getting stronger than before. Miranda is not that strong but did not lose to Rinne. She also let out her pressure and her finger starts to turn into claws. The twins hide in Miranda's baby pouch. They can feel the hostility in the air. They are crying harder than before but it is a different type of cry. The cry is sharp and harmful. The young vampire group can feel sharp energy piercing their ears.
"Interesting...Hehehehehehehehehe." Lefu laughs echo in the room and follow by others. The six of them finally find something fun for tonight. They start to moves slowly and forms a circle and trap their prey in the middle.
Meanwhile, at the banquet hall. Mikayla is chatting with the other young nobles until he is stunned in the middle of the conversation and hear the cries of the twins.
"What happen Mikayla? Why are you suddenly stunned like that?" ask Baldovino.
"Did you hear it?" said Mikayla. The others look at each other.
"Hear what? The music?" said Selene. She turns around to look in the banquet hall searching for the sound source in case she is wrong.
"The cries," said Mikayla.
"There is no crying sound. No kids are attending this banquet tonight," said Persephone. He looks at the pale Mikayla and then towards Baldovino. Baldovino shrugged his shoulder saying that he also did not know.
Mikayla able to see a vision where there are vampires encircle Rinne and Miranda. They are trapped. One of the vampires is fighting with Rinne and another one is pressuring Miranda. He sees Miranda already kneeling while holding the baby pouch to protect the twins. One of her hands slashing the air using her claws. The vampire backs up a bit but he then another vampire comes from behind before pulling her hair and slowly use her claws to scratch Mirandas's face. Miranda's scream can be heard. Rinne is interrupted by the scream and miss a punch coming towards his abdomen. The punch is strong and Rinne has slammed the wall. The walls cracked because of the punch impact.
The vampire in front Miranda use his magic power and takes the baby pouch. The twins cry harder and a wave of sound attack is directed towards the vampire that tries to take them. The attack is strong and causes the vampire ears to bleed. The vampire did not mind about it and reach out his hand to touch Stella. There is madness on his face.
"Don't you dare to touch them!" shouts Mikayla. His Wings spread open and he flies towards the twins. The guest hears his scream and puzzle why did Mikayla suddenly shout. Baldovino and his friends follow Mikayla to see what happens.
Mikayla kicks the door room and the door broke into pieces and when he enters the room, seeing Miranda half-conscious on the floor with a vampire sucking her blood and Rinne is already being feast by two vampires. The vampire that hold the twins unable to suck their blood because of their crying. One sound attack keeps coming towards him. The other two vampire helps him to dispel the attack but they underestimate the twins. They are getting impatient and release a stronger force towards the twins without caring they might kill the twins.
Mikayla screams and lets out a strong sound attack into the room. The sound attack let out a vibration that destroys the vampire's fangs. All the vampires scream because of pain. Mikayla dashes towards the twins and hold them in his embrace. The twin stops their crying when they are in Mikayla embrace but their sobbing can still be heard.
"You...You, how dare. You are just a rat!!!" said Damien. Blood flowing from his mouth. Not only him but the rest of vampires in the room. Their hatred is clearly shown on their face. Their precious fang is destroyed. How can they maintain their status after this? They start attacking Mikayla but all of them is send flying by Mikayla because there is a strong barrier to protect Mikayla from any attack.
Baldovino and his friends are dumbfounded. From kicking the door to the sound attack and when the sound attack destroy the fangs all of them are gulping and touch their fangs to make sure they still have it.
"What are you all doing sneaking in other people room?" said Baldovino. He is the first one that regains composure.
"Ye...yeah! Unbelievable!" said Selene.
"Heh! Attacking babies! Did your family so poor that they are unable to feed all of you," said Persephone.
The commotion can be heard until the banquet hall. Alaric and Grandpa Gregory quickly go to Mikayla's room. Some of the curious guests follow both of them. When they arrive all they see that a bloody group of vampire. The situation is tense.
"What in the world happen here?" said Gregory.
Seeing Gregory, Baldovino explains that the vampires inside the room are attacking Mikayla's servant and try to harm the twins.
"He destroys our fangs," said Lefu. His magic power is increasing tremendously. The other five follows him.
Noticing the changes in the magic around the room, Gregory and Alaric know that things are going to be tricky.
"Calm down, everyone. We can solve this peacefully," said Alaric.
"I will only be peaceful after killing that rat," said Lefu. "He dares to snatch my prey and retaliates against us."
"Prey should be obedient and be eaten," said Thyone with a gloomy voice.
The six of them attacks Mikayla together. Their coordination is flawless. Mikayla stay in his barriers and Alaric wanting to stops their attacks but he is stopped by a guest.
"Why are you stopping me, Hadria?" said Alaric.
"It's just a child fight. Why are you butting in for? Besides we all want to see how great your "son" is, right everyone? said Hadria.
Some of the nobles smirk and acknowledge Hadria's statement. They believe their vampire child will not lose to that rat. Gregory sends eye signal to Alaric, telling him to stand down.
"Go on and fight. Show this rat, I mean this child, how strong the vampire," said Hadria
The attacks continue and slowly the barrier starts to crumble.
"It is not fair, Mikayla is fighting with six vampires," said Baldovino.
"Keep quiet and watch," said Hadria and he exerts some pressure towards Baldovino.
"Shameless," said Selene and she helps Baldovino.
Mikayla just stares towards the vampires that keep attacking him. Unnoticed to them, the temperature slowly drops. The twins are completely silent and not even a sobbing can be heard.
"Hummm...hummm...hummm," Mikayla starts to humming.
