Chapter 15 - LSK Strategy Part 2

A huge 8 or 9 feet tall monster with arms bigger than his body made its way towards Jin who was starting to think that maybe this was all just a dream.

A nightmare which he just couldn't wake up from.

While Jin was thinking that the monster walked even closer to the trio and looked more vivid than ever.

In fact, Jin could even see the bulging nerves on the monster's huge muscles, and the big wooden club in its hand.

Even though Jin hadn't yet used the DH System to see the details of the monster before him, he didn't feel like he needed to.

After all, as someone who was born in this day and age, even though Jin was a punk who roamed the streets looking for targets to bully, he knew that the monster in front of him was.

"Orc... "

The moment Jin said those words, the Orc looked straight towards Jin and roared.

"GGGRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"

Somehow Jin managed to free his legs which were being hugged and jumped backwards, just in time for the huge wooden bat to barely miss his body.

But the same couldn't be said for the two men who were completely frozen from fear.

They were too late to react, and by the time they looked away from their boss who jumped backwards, something hit them.

It felt like the two of them were hit by a truck, because the next second their bodies began flying like two rag dolls and hit the Dungeon's wall.

Looking at all of this Jin was not even able to properly scream.

Everything had happened in a flash, but to Jin, it felt like he watched a gruesome scene in slow motion.

When the wooden club hit the last of his two men, Jin could clearly hear the crisp sound of their bones breaking before they flew.

And when their bodies which after being struck hit the wall, their muscles blew up from the impact and stained the wall in their blood.

Just looking at this Jin felt like he would throw up, but there wasn't time for that.

Jin's body began moving before he could even think, as he started running deeper inside the Dungeon. He only had one goal.

Destroy the Dungeon Core!

If he could do that, then maybe the Dungeon would be destroyed and he'd be able to escape!

With such thoughts, Jin's body who had gone into hard-core survival mode began running faster than he even did.

Twisting past the Goblin, Jin felt that there he could now destroy the Dungeon Core and escape this hell.

Indeed, Jin's thoughts were correct. Once be destroyed the Dungeon Core, the Dungeon would get destroyed and Jin would be able to leave the Dungeon.

However, not to mention the Great Tokyo Dungeon's powerful Personal Guard, Erza Scarlet who would protect the Dungeon Core with her life, he even failed to notice the smug look on the Goblin whom he ran past.

Running without stopping, Jin who was only thinking about running failed to notice that no one was chasing him.

But before he could learn about that, Jin who was looking back to see if the monsters were chasing him suddenly stopped.

He didn't stop due to hitting anything, or since someone stopped him.

He had stopped out of pure fear and survival instinct.

Gulping down as much fear as he could, Jin slowly turned forward and raised his head to see the same monster like Orc which he was running away from in front of him.

"Wha.... How?... Ho... "

Before Jin could even understand, or make proper sentence the Orc in front of him lifted him by the head, and without even giving a chance to scream crushed his hand with its bare hands.

Once Jin was dead, the Orc loudly roared towards the Dungeon ceiling from happiness and licked its blood stained hand.

...

Looking at all of this through the live video feed, Natsu who had made up his mind to not be a soft man, forced himself to watch all the gruesome scene without even batting an eye.

And finally said, "Well done.", to no one in particular.

"The LSK Strategy you thought up of worked perfectly, Master!"

Nodding his head towards Carla, Natsu had to admit that the basic strategy he made during his free time did wonders on helping the monsters win effortlessly.

The LKS Strategy. Or in simple terms, Lure, Sneak attack, and Kill Strategy.

The strategy wasn't a complicated one at all, and it had a total of three phases to it.

The first one was to lure the enemies in by behaving scared.

The second one was when the enemies were chasing the bait, the other monsters would jump from the sides and commence a sneak attack.

And finally, before the intruders could react, the monsters were supposed to kill every one of the intruders by using their advantage.

In this way, not only would the monsters manage to catch the intruders off guard, they would even be able to limit their losses by efficiently killing everyone.

Of course, the LSK Strategy had many limits.

But for the current period, where those who entered were complete newbies with no experience inside a Dungeon, Natsu felt that this strategy would let his monsters obtaining a winning streak, until he filled the whole Dungeon with many strong monsters and use brute force which didn't need any strategies to crush all intruders.

At the same time, Natsu began feeling the need to increase the number of Dwarfs before he summoned more monsters.

After all, it was only due to that one Dwarf that Natsu had managed to equip one Kobold with a real weapon, instead of leaving it with the wooden staff it was summoned with.

However, with only a single Dwarf the rate of making weapons was very slow.

It had not only taken eight days to set up a smithy to work at. But even spent two days in making a spear tip, and turning the wooden staff into a spear.

Luckily, the Orcs had arrived with the huge wooden bat when they summoned, and therefore Natsu didn't have to worry about equipping them with any weapons for now.

As for the Goblins, Natsu had already talked with the Dwarf and told him to make short knives for them, after he had finished giving all of the Kobold a spear each.
