Chereads / The Lustful Dungeon Master (Hiatus) / Chapter 19 - Elemental Shooter's true strength

Chapter 19 - Elemental Shooter's true strength

There were actually not just two, but three ways to leave a Dungeon.

The first and second method, were those which almost everyone knew. These were to destroy the Dungeon Core, or use a special item to leave the Dungeon.

However, other than these two methods, there was one more way to leave a Dungeon.

And that was to kill the Dungeon Master.

Once a Dungeon Master was dead, all of the Dungeons under his control would immediately be destroyed. Unless, they were killed by another Dungeon Master, or those affiliated to a Dungeon Master.

Regardless, once a Dungeon Master was killed, either the Dungeon would be destroyed, or everyone inside their Dungeons would be kicked outside, depending on who killed the Dungeon Master.

Therefore, the first priority of Natsu was to try and see if it was possible to kill the Dungeon Master and take over the Dungeon.

But before that, it was time to test his Elemental Guns.

Walking forward without the slightest fear, since Erza was right behind him, Natsu began observing how Americans compared to Japanese when raiding a Dungeon.

After seeing them for a while, Natsu had to admit that in comparison to Japanese, the Americans had better physical bodies, but, it was the Japanese who had better coordination and looked to have more interest in raiding a Dungeon.

Also, for some reason Natsu was starting to think that the Americans were too engrossed in the fight. Because even after so long, not a single one had noticed him yet.

Finally, one of the group's male member who was using a crudely made shield slipped and fell backwards, due to which the Goblin jumped on top of his shield and hit him on his unprotected head with the rock in its hand.

By the time the others in the ten-man group could react, the Goblin had hit the man in the same spot two more times and successfully destroyed his skull.

In the next instant, the man lost his conscious and most likely died, because Natsu could see a huge hole in his head.

Once one of the men died, the perfectly performing group could no longer continue fighting. The main reason being, they had just lost one of the three men who were using a shield each.

Before the remaining two could try and close the gap in their formation, and in one way or the other try to run away and escape by using the Dungeon Escape Card.

But, how could the monsters who had been so tirelessly fighting and dying, allow the opening they finally managed to obtain disappear so easily?

Rushing forward like a tide, the remaining 6 Goblins, and 4 Kobolds pushed the two shield bearers aside, and began attacking the men who were fighting by hiding.

Looking around Natsu noticed that including the dead bodies, there were only Goblins and Kobolds in this Dungeon.

Having breached through the opening, the monsters had managed to kill the remaining two shield bearers causing the whole group to drown in panic.

"Runnn!!!"

Unfortunately, the situation had gone too far to even try and run away. Instead, there might have actually been a chance to survive if they continued fighting by putting their lives in the line.

Sure, most if then would've died, but at least a few of them would've managed to live.

However, as one of them tried to run away, the others also soon lost confidence and turned around to run away.

It was now that they finally saw Natsu who was standing there, and watching everything as if it was a movie.

In fact, there were even a few moments which made Natsu feel that the only thing he lacked in this situation was popcorn.

Spooked from the sudden appearance of Natsu, the remaining 7 humans hesitated for a second, during which their numbers further dwindled down to 4.

"Shit!"

"Fuck it! I'm going to kill everyone!"

Not caring about anything else other than running, the man started running towards Natsu with the huge finish spear in his hand.

Seeing this Natsu stopped Erza who was about to make a move, and raised his right hand which had one of his two Elemental Guns in it, Natsu didn't hesitate at all and pulled the trigger.

If seeing a gun being brought inside the Dungeon was already a huge shock to the adventurers, and the Dungeon Master who was watching the living freed, what happened next further shocked them.

Along with the click of the trigger being pulled, everyone saw what looked like a laser fire out of the gun.

Though it wasn't actually a laser, everyone thought that it was a laser due to the trail of silver colour following behind the bullet.

In fact, it wasn't even a bullet which left the gun.

It was a small sword!

Bang!!!

Along with the loud sound, everyone only saw a flash of light shoot straight through the man who running towards Natsu, and disappeared after making the whole Dungeon's tunnel light up with its shiny colour.

Even after he saw the flash of light, the man didn't feel like anything happened to him, due to which he felt that the one who shot him had missed.

Feeling happy he continued running in hopes of using this chance to kill Natsu, when he started to powerlessly fall down in the next instant.

It was then that the man looked down to see a finger sized hole in his chest, in the same spot where his heart was.

"You... Cough!!!"

Throwing up a mouthful of blood, the man could only look towards Natsu who himself had a surprised look as all signs of life left his body.

Indeed, even Natsu who hadn't used his gun on any human, and only tested it against the walls of his Dungeon, hadn't expected how powerful it was.

This was because the walls of a Dungeon despite looking like they were made out of normal mud and rock, were actually literally undestroyable.

Furthermore, the power behind the bullet shot out wasn't just in credit to the Elemental Gun, or Natsu who pulled the trigger.

Instead, most of the credit actually went to Erza who used her own mana to load the gun.

This was because Natsu had zero mana inside him, and could only rely on someone else to load the gun.

Luckily, while only those with the Elemental Shooter class could fire the Elemental Guns, anyone could use their mana to load it.

That was why the bullet shot out of the Elemental Gun looked like a miniature sword.
