Having just finished the translation of another novel to the end, which was his fourth one, Rahul felt a sense of accomplishment.
Rubbing his tired eyes he got up from the chair and looked outside the window where he could see the sun peaking over the horizon getting ready to rise.
Stretching his limbs which had gotten numb from sitting for so long, Rahul went back to his desk and scheduled the just finished chapter.
Once done, Rahul turned off the lights in the room and jumped on his bed with the intention to sleep.
Just then, Rahul received a notification from his phone that alerted him of having received a new message.
Pulling his phone out of his pocket, the 16-year-old Rahul opened his lazy eyes to look at what the message was.
Reading what was in the message he received, Rahul's eyes turned energetic as he sat up and immediately opened his bank app.
Clicking on the check balance button, Rahul couldn't help but grin from seeing the seven-figure sum.
That was his life long savings, or in other terms all the money he earned from translating minus the money he spent on living.
Rahul was an orphan who ran away from the orphanage about two years back.
Originally life was truly hard, but remembering all the animes he loved, where the protagonist would never give up, Rahul toughed it out until he had enough money to buy a phone and a little extra for an internet connection.
Obtaining these two, Rahul put his knowledge of Korean language to start translating web novels.
It was indeed very hard to translate on a phone, given the fact that Rahul was still learning the language and had to repeatedly use Google translate to understand a few words, but Rahul didn't give up and continued doing so.
After a whole month, Rahul obtained enough money to rent a very small apartment which was barely livable.
Next, the money Rahul was earning grew by the month, until after six months he moved into a bigger house and bought himself a computer which made translation easier.
From then on, Rahul lived a carefree life where all he did was stay at home and translate novels. For food, he'd either cook some instant food, or have it delivered.
Like this Rahul kept on living with the intention to save enough money to move to Japan, and spend his life there like he always wanted.
Unfortunately, just as Rahul's bank account had reached the goal which he had set, something happened which completely turned all of his effort useless.

Reading so many lines of information which appeared floating in front of him, Rahul began thinking that he was hallucinating due to not having slept for so long.
But even if it was a hallucination or a dream, Rahul was more than willing to play along since he was someone who enjoyed such things.
[Welcome new user! The DH System has been activated!]
[Please choose a name]
Thinking for a few seconds, Rahul decided that he wanted a new name and something which was very cool. Instead, of a plain name like 'Rahul'.
Therefore, after pausing for a few seconds Rahul said, "Natsu.".
Which was obviously inspired from the name Natsu Dragneel, who was a character of the anime 'Fairy Tail', one of Rahul's most favourite anime.
Though there were a few characters that Rahul liked even more, and who had more awesome names, Rahul chose the name Natsu, because it was something which sounded cool regardless of which language you spoke.
On the other hand, names such as Ichigo, Kaneki, Itachi, and so on, while they did sound cool, it was only to those who knew Japanese or watched animes.
Also, not many knew of this right now, but it was later discovered that at this moment almost 80% of humans below the age of 25 had chosen to select a new name, instead of using their original name.
[Name had been set as - Natsu]
[User Natsu, you have been chosen as one of the lucky 100 for planet Earth.]
[Obtained reward - Dungeon or Haven dice.]
Just reading the words Natsu could more or less guess what the roles Dungeon and Haven meant. Therefore holding the dice which materialized out of thin air Natsu who was feeling happy from obtaining something which would make him stand out from the others, made a silent decision.
If he obtained Haven, he would become someone that would strive to protect everyone.
But, if he obtained Dungeon, he would become someone that only cares about himself, his desires, and the few people he cares for.
Because by now, Natsu had realized that he was neither hallucinating, nor dreaming. And everything was happening for real.
After all, while he did have a vivid imagination, it was impossible to create so many detailed aspects. And considering he was imagining everything, it was impossible to not regain his senses when exposed to pain.
Making the decision, Natus held the six-faced gold dice which had 'Haven' written on it in white colour on three sides, and black coloured 'Dungeon' on the remaining three sides.
Since he decided to leave everything to fate, Natsu let the dice fall from his hand and looked down to see what the end result would be.
Despite having some weight to it, when the dice touched the floor of his apartment, it bounced a few times and finally stopped.
The result was... Dungeon.
