Seeing the result, Natsu couldn't help but unconsciously sigh in relief. Because someone like him truly didn't want to become a stupid character who would put the lives of others before his own.
[Obtained profession Dungeon Master.]
[Please choose the location for your Dungeon.]
Following these two notifications, a map of Earth appeared in front of him.
The map was gold in colour, with various spots of white and black, which were most likely the spots for Dungeons and Havens.
Due to the timer of sixty seconds which forced him to choose fast, if he didn't want one assigned to him, Natsu didn't have enough time to count them all.
But on a rough guess, he estimated that there were around five hundred black spots and five hundred white spots.
Focusing on the countries he always wanted to visit, Natsu saw that there were many available slots for dungeons in China, South Korea, and Japan.
After a quick calculation, Natsu decided on Japan.
Because, even though he knew Korean, Natsu had always been a die hard fan of animes, and Japanese women.
Therefore he enlarged the map to focus only on Japan and began thinking which of the three dungeons he should choose.
Hokkaido, Tokyo, Osaka.
The three Dungeons were either in or close to these regions.
While the Havens were Miyagi, Yamaguchi, and Toyama.
In simple terms there was a Haven at the bottom, followed by a Dungeon above it, another Haven, Dungeon, Haven, and Dungeon.
Seeing this it was quite obvious which Dungeon had the advantage in location.
It was the Dungeon in Hokkaido. Because not only was there one Haven close to it, to enter Hokkaido, you couldn't travel on land but needed to go through water which would serve as something he could use to his advantage.
Thinking this Natsu was about to choose Hokkaido, when he dropped midway and realized what a huge blunder he was about to commit.
Generally, based on what he knew, Dungeons and Dungeon Masters grew stronger by defeating those who came to try and clear it.
Therefore, if he chose to establish a Dungeon in Hokkaido, where there wasn't a Haven, it would obviously be impossible for him to obtain a regular supply of challengers, since he remembered reading that all humans would be transported to their nearest Haven.
Considering this, Natsu who saw the timer which now only had ten seconds remaining, chose Tokyo.
This was because, even though he ran the risk of being sandwiched in between two Havens, it was better than staying all alone with nothing to do.
Furthermore, while all of this was the result of his own thoughts and there was no concrete evidence to support his ideas, Natsu would rather risk everything and try to achieve success, instead of being conservative and end up being the only weak one in a world full of strong ones.
Luckily, the DH System didn't ask Natsu any questions as if he was sure, or any such things, due to which Natsu wasn't given the chance to second guess himself.
[Location for the Dungeon has been chosen!]
[Teleportation will begin in 1 hour 40 minutes.]
After those words, the DH System no longer gave him any new notifications which allowed Natsu to dwell in his own thoughts.
The first thing he decided to do, was see how the rest of the world was dealing with this.
Turning on his computer, Natsu at first didn't know what to search for. And therefore chose to read the trending articles.
'End of the World??!!', 'Are we all dreaming?', 'It's time for us Otakus to shine!!', and so on there were so many such web pages and uncountable forums which Natsu didn't even bother to count.
Briefly scrolling through the various news articles, tweets, Instagrams, and so on, Natsu quickly came to an understanding of what the current world outside his windows was like.
It was surprisingly calm. Much calmer than what Natsu expected it to be.
But, all of this could just be the calm before the storm.
Therefore, Natsu soon turned off the computer and tried to rest his tired body so that it would have enough energy to perform properly after he was teleported.
Unfortunately, it was easier said than done because Natsu only managed to fall asleep after turning and tussling for almost an hour on the bed.
Luckily, Natsu was able to sleep for half an hour before the DH System woke him up by saying that he would be teleported in ten minutes.
Waking up, Natsu took a bath and finished his food when the teleportation countdown began from 10 seconds.
As Natsu waited anxiously, the timer fell to 1 second after which all Natsu saw was a blinding white light. This was followed by a sensation which made him feel as if his body had been turned to pieces and was then fused back into one.
Due to how it felt, even before Natsu could open his eyes he felt like nauseous and almost vomited. But luckily he held back while blocking his mouth with his palm.
As soon as Natsu who calmed down opened his eyes, equal to the number of notifications sounds he heard, there were two lines of text in front of him.
[Arrived at your Dungeon. Find the Dungeon core for more information.]
[You can now see your status, Dungeon Master Natsu.]
'Status.'
In response to the word he spoke inside his head, Natsu saw new lines of text which appeared out of nowhere.
[Name : Natsu
Class : Dungeon Master (Lvl 1)
Number of Dungeons : 1
Strength : 7
Mana : 0
Vitality : 9
Agility : 8]
The current Natsu didn't know this, but 10 points represented the average strength a fully grown adult male had. Having 10 points of Vitality, meant that they would live for a hundred years.
Given, that he doesn't die due to any other cause before dying of old age.
1 point of Agility meant that the individual could run at a speed of 4.5 km/hr.
However, there was something that Natsu understood perfectly.
Mana was probably related to being able to use magic, and since he was born as a human, this particular stat was zero.
As for the rest, even though he didn't know how his stats would compare to others, Natsu guessed that he wouldn't lag behind others in the same age group as him, because he placed a good deal of time working out to make sure his body stay fit.
