The windows were open and the curtains were flying with the breeze. It was a room where the colors are mostly white and some are gold.
In that elegant bedroom, stuffed toys, books, and pillows scattered everywhere making it obvious that it is a child's room. The bed was a mess and the quilt lay messily on the floor. It was empty.
"Kira..."
"She's...gone...."
A month has passed and so many things happened already. The twins, even after then, was still an unresolved matter. They refuse to speak out and their classmates still can't find a suitable solution no matter how hard they thought about it.
With Kira's health deteriorating, Sychi thought of bringing her back home for quite a lot of times but the children always tried their best to change her mind. They plead on her, saying that they will take care of Kira on her stead. As a result, Sychi listed her conditions.
Airi, Livi, and Myth were the ones mostly in charge of babysitting her. But because of the happenings between her and Kishi, taking care of her became harder by ten folds.
There was once a time she suddenly passed out because of a fever. They obediently took care of her with also the assistance of Glen, yet after they came back from the classes they need to attend, Kira was no longer there in her room.
At first, they knocked a couple of times yet there's no answer. Worried and suspicious, they decided to enter only to find out that the door was unlocked. They hastily entered and Kira was nowhere to be found. She was having a fever and couldn't have gone far so they decided to search the school.
"Found anything?" Airi asked the other anxiously.
The two of them shook their heads with solemn faces. They searched everywhere they could think of where Kira could hide herself yet still found nothing. The school is just to big, searching blindly is impossible. Even if they search for her for the whole day, they still wouldn't find her if they were unlucky.
"Livi, don't you have any idea?" Myth desperately asked him.
"If I do then I should have already found her."
"But you always do have an idea, right?" said Airi
Sighing, he replied. "Those are only wild guesses. I knew where she was because I always keep an eye on her. But I have completely no idea right now and she also canceled the spell I put on her."
"You put a spell on her?" Myth and Airi glared at him suspiciously.
"I did that because unlike Kishi, I don't have any of those telepathy between twins or whatever that is. And besides, Kira is really troublesome it's dangerous for her to wander alone. Look what happened now!"
Even though they were suspicious of him and dares not believe his words, no matter what, they were still true and they can't deny it.
"Wait, Kishi!" A sudden realization struck through him.
Hopeless, Airi looked at him and asked. "Do you really believe he'll help us right now?"
Myth nodded, agreeing with his words.
However, Livi looked at them with determination and said, "Well, we don't have any choice, do we. If we want to find Kira, he's our only hope. But he doesn't want to help us, then we'll force him too and give him no other choice."
"Wow...you make it sound so easy." Myth sighed. "Oh well, you're right, we don't have a choice. So, do you have a plan?"
The two of them looked at him and Livi smiled mischievously.
Meanwhile, since it's already late and it will be dinner soon, Kishi was at the E-class lounge with most of his classmates. He already finished all of his homework so he had nothing else to do but to read books to pass the time. He was at his usual place in the window seat away from everyone else. As he was flipping the pages of the book, he suddenly felt this creepy feeling of someone staring at him as though wanting to pounce on him any second now.
"What do you want." He asked flatly, not turning his head to look at them.
"Nothing." Says Livi, sitting by his side and peering out of the window.
Myth and Airi also nodded and sat close to them. With their attitude, Kishi didn't believe it but said nothing. He knew that they were up to something no good again, he didn't want to get scolded just because they dragged him into it.
After some while with nothing else but silence, Livi looked at him with a playful smile on his face and told him his intention without beating around the bush.
"Help us find Kira." He said.
Kishi didn't make much of a reaction and just looked at him from the corner of his eyes. "Why me? Can't you do it yourselves?"
"Ah? That...we tried. But it's impossible though. You know what I mean, the school is just too big and we can't find Kira unless you help us."
"You're just lazy."
"Please...." Livi stared at him with puppy eyes.
"No." he obstinately declined.
"Come on Kishi, you're our only hope!" Airi cried.
"What he said! Kira just recovered from her fever too. If we can't find her before dinner, Kira might catch a cold again and who knows what might happen!" said Myth.
"That's got nothing to do with me. It's not my fault she's so troublesome, is it? And besides, why worry? She ran out there on her own she could return as well. She knows the consequences of her actions so it doesn't matter what happens because it's her fault for being so stubborn. And didn't Sychi told you so as well? She's your responsibility so don't drag me with it."
Listening in his words, Myth felt her heart stinging. She clenched her fist, trying to restrain her urge of slapping him for saying those ruthless words.
Isn't she his sister? Why is he saying those words now as if he didn't care? She still remembered it how she always teased them for being so intimate with each other. Kishi is just so obsessed with his sister it doesn't bother him even if he had to dress as a girl to please her. He cares for her so much he would kill all those who dares hurt her. The two of them were so close as if they hadn't seen each other since forever. She felt so envious with their outmost love and care for each other she wanted to have it too. Yet now, what in the world happened that will drive their inseparable bond be cut like that in an instant? It felt so unfair.
However, before she could say anything, Livi spoke again. "Kishi, you said you don't want to, right?" a mischievous smile appeared on his face, making everyone stare at him. "What if...I was to tell everyone your secret right now? And when I mean everyone, I meant all. How about it? Do you still dare refuse me?"
Kishi's eyes widened in disbelief for a moment before he regained his composure. He knew that Livi would really do it if he refused, and he also know what he meant by all. Sighing, he uttered through gritted teeth.
"Livi you're utterly despicable! To dare threaten me like this?"
Seeing his reaction, Livi chuckled, resting his chin on his hand, staring at him. "He! That's what you get for being so stubborn. You can refuse though; I'm just asking if you dare."
Airi and Myth who doesn't know what is happening, shifted their gaze from Kishi to Livi and then back again. Secret? What secret? They were curious yet it seemed that only the two of them knew of it which is really unfair. Especially Airi, their self-proclaimed older brother who knew less about them than outsider who came out of nowhere so suddenly.
Sighing, Kishi finally gave in. "Since you put it that way, I can't decline now, can I? Jeez...such a drag. You better pay me for this."
Smiling, Livi said. "No. You're the one who owe me. Plus, I still have a favor from you, don't you remember?"
Unable to suppress it any longer, Airi asked. "What exactly happened between the two of you?"
Livi just looked at him and grinned. "Nothing much. I just found out an obvious secret you guys are so ignorant to find out."
Unsatisfied with his answer, Airi and Myth pouted as they glared at him unhappily.
Raising his brows, Livi asked. "Why? You want to know?"
Hearing his suddenly say that, the other two looked at him in surprise and curiosity, nodding determinedly. Kishi on the other hand, glared at him. "Hey! Try of you dare and you'll be dead!"
"Threatening, the prince of life with death, you can't be more serious. But don't worry, as long as you do your job properly, I won't say anything."
"That should be your job!"
"You should know better that it's way too impossible for us."
"You guys are so unfair." Airi and Myth grumbled.
