Amili instructed the two new students to seat wherever they want.
Celes sat in an empty seat beside Red on the second row. While Livi looked around for a moment and drew closer to Kira.
"Would you mind if I sit here." He asked.
Kira looked up at him and took a while before she answered. "No, I don't mind."
Hearing her said so, he smiled gently at her and sat in the seat beside her.
"Are you alright?" He asked concerned about her spacy look.
"What do you mean? I'm perfectly fine." She denied.
He didn't believe her but upon noticing that she doesn't want to speak about it further, he just decided not to ask about it anymore.
Their class proceeded but before the period ended, Amili announced a few things.
"Last year, there had been a lot of issues and many cases of attempted abduction." She told the children with a serious look. "Mo-I mean the dean, the other teachers, and I had pondered about it why and we came up with a conclusion." She looked at them all and most of the children seem uninterested while some were sniggering.
Taking a deep breath, she said with harsh tone. "It's because you're way too obvious."
The others students snickered. Amili might be speaking in general, but it's obvious who she was pertaining too. It was none other than the group of trouble makers who kept dragging the whole class with them.
It's a pity that the two new students would be included with them as well. However, it can't be helped since among all the groups, the group of the youngest were the one that is most open for new members.
"To solve that problem, Miha, Aqua, Tsu and Chi, Sugar, Myth, Err...Rai and Aspen, especially you Kin, you'll be in charge of teaching these three." She glanced at Kishi, Kira, Livi.
"Does that include also me?" Livi tilted his head in confusion. He doesn't remember causing that much trouble before.
"And Airi, you'll be joining them as well."
"What...! Why?
"...Celes, Yin, Yang, Rex, Lune, and Red will be joining too."
After that, Amili left the room, leaving the children in silence.
In that dead silence, Asa was the first to speak. "Must it be that many? For all I know it was only three at most who causes that much head ache."
"Who knows. Most of them were probably required to join so that they won't have that much free time to run rampage on the school." Aster replied.
"Makes a lot of sense if you put it that way." Jex chuckled.
Sighing, Miha exclaimed. "Whatever the case is, this sure is adding up to my already full schedule."
"This is Asa's fault to begin with." Aqua said with no emotion.
"What!! Why me?!"
"Aren't they in charge with you to begin with?" He questioned him, making Asa fell silent.
Their next period is about weapons. Their Teacher Yue entered the room and placed down a book and box of jewelries. He gazed at them and notice two new faces, he sighed.
"You're already second years, so...." he sighed again. "....you'll be learning about real weapons this time." Looking around, he asked. "I'm sure you all recall what the types of spirts are?"
There are three types of spirits, the weapons, the helpers, and the companion. The first two types were common while the third type was pretty rare.
The spirits are often used by mages by making a contract. The weapon spirits are of course, used as weapons in battle. They can change form of a weapon that is most suitable for their master, amplify their master's magic, and transform as jewelries for convenience. Whereas, the helpers are used in place of slaves. Just like how the spirits fly around the school especially the cafeteria where the spirits serve the students food.
But unlike the other two, the companion spirits are weak spirits that are very rare. They could turn into cute and lovable things like stuff toys. They are completely harmless and could do almost nothing except please their masters and provide them company. Just like Fuffy.
These types of spirits might seem useless, but they are highly valuable. They are not only cute, but they are suitable to cure anxieties, traumas, or any emotional illness. They are precious for those with weak emotional state that also has trouble controlling their magic.
In reality, spirits are dangerous. The weapon spirits, if not fully tamed, they could kill those around its master, whether friend or foe. In worst cases, they could even kill their own masters who they deem unworthy of them. The helpers on the other hand without its master's full control, they could do mischievous schemes and cause trouble. They are like a rebellious child who refuses to follow it's parents.
But the companion spirits are different. They are the most loyal and will ease their master's sorrow and sufferings with all they could. Their life is also connected to their master and would die when master died.
"Since you're already second years, you'll be permitted to use sprits, however, I will remind you once again that these spirits are dangerous and you must be careful when using them."
Seeing that the children are going impatient and no longer paying attention, he sighed once again and reluctantly spoke. "Alright, all of you, fall in line and pick one of these spirits from the box. You'll be starting with them--"
"No need professor Yue, we already have one." Airi said removing his rose shaped earing.
At once, the earing turned into a sharp and long katana that blossoms with petals of roses. The other students did the same and most of them held a fine-looking weapon that perfectly matched them.
Yue gaped at them. He clearly did not expect these children to already have a spirit, and divine and the most powerful ones at that fact. But perhaps he underestimated their capabilities.
"Since when and where did you all get that?" He uttered in shock and rage.
Bemused, the students looked at him. "We picked them up last new year as reward in frozen ruin quest." Myth replied, undaunted by his glare.
Yue was shocked. They had it since last new year?! He can't believe that it's been that long yet no one noticed. Sighing, he regained himself and surveyed them with a calm expression.
It seems not all of them have one. Other than Kishi and Kira, Red, Livi, Celes, Ara, Lux, Lune, Aspen, Aqua, and Coral also don't have one.
Curious, Yue asked, "Didn't all of you joined that quest except for Red and the other two? Why doesn't all of you have one?"
"That's because were not as stupid as these idiots and didn't touch any. And besides, being a conjurer, I don't really need one." Lux said.
Magic is so vast with different elements and complex spells. It was classified in different types. These are multiply, conjure, summon, enchant, transform, and accelerate.
The multiply, by the word itself, multiplies the element into unlimited numbers based into the wielder's capability, like how the flower, or little insects multiplies into greater number.
The conjure, creates different inanimate items from nothing except the wielder's imagination. Most of the time, it doesn't stand a chance against spirit weapons, but if the mage is capable enough, it become even stronger than a spirit.
The Summon, calls the elements, be it a contracted animal, beast or the lightning or the rain itself, the mage can call it, also depending on the mage's talent.
The enchant makes one thing more powerful, or in more advance, manipulate one thing and fully change it purpose and form. This type of spell could be used in anything even on humans. However, mages capable of enchant is very rare.
The transform allows the user to transform itself into the element the user possess. It could be anything as long as living like animals, and plants.
The accelerate, manipulates the time of an animate object by adding magic into it, like making a tree or plant grow faster. But of course, this type of magic is hardly used in animals as speeding the growth of an animal needs a great amount of magical energy, not a single mage was able to pull it off in history.
All these six types of magic can be performed by any mage. Some could even use multiple at once. But every type of magic has so much potential, mastering a single one would be difficult but only then could one use it to its limit.
