Have you felt it? The feeling of falling to the abyss.
It's been so long. I've been here for so long; I don't even understand it all anymore.
Being shrouded in darkness without being able to understand anything. What's going on? What happened? What's going to occur next?
Who am I?
Yuki heard dripping water. One by one it falls, creating a somewhat calm sound.
She felt cold, she seems to be lying on cold ground. Opening her eyes, she found that she was in a dark place.
Was it a cave?
Yuki rubbed her eyes and tried her best to recall what had happened.
The skies suddenly turned red then I...what happened?
Sitting up and looking around, she found herself in an unfamiliar place. It was indeed inside a cave.
The ground was cold and around her was strange plants and flowers. She tried to stand up, but she wobbled and fell on her face, rolling out of the cave and down the sloping ground.
"Ouch..."
Shaking her head, Yuki struggled as she pushed the ground with her hands.
Opening her blurry eyes, she was surprised at what she saw.
M-my hands...!!!
They were small and cute. What's more, they were covered in fur. They were paws, those that belong to a cute little kitten at that fact.
Yuki hastily tried to get up and looked at her reflection in a nearby pond.
It seems...she turned into a cat. A white cat with beautiful magenta colored eyes.
Well, she was very beautiful, and...cute.
"Finally, you're awake." A voice said, bringing Yuki back to reality from shock.
The voice was somehow familiar. Yuki was sure she had heard of it before. Turning around, she was stunned to see was she didn't expect.
The one that said those words, was a little white wolf cub with sapphire blue eyes.
"Y-y-you can TALK!!@!"
The wolf was annoyed and hit her head with a small pebble, shouting at her. "Yukishime, you idiot!!! Have you gone stupid after sleeping for ten years?!!"
"AHH!! You're already at first name basis! WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?!! No, HOW DARE YOU!! Wait, ten years?"
"You really are an idiot." The little wolf sighed. "I called you by your first name because our last names wont matter here at Harmonia. We still need to find out what's going on, so by the meantime, you should call me Amane.
"Amane?" Yuki tilted her head, "Ahh!! It's you!!"
"You're sick!" Amane spat.
Yuki met Amane not so long before 'it' happened.
He sent her an anonymous email, asking to meet her at a nearby café.
Although she was suspicious, she still went to that café anyway. There, she met a boy a year older than her. His hair was gorgeously white, and his eyes were so beautiful like a lake in clear blue sky.
"You're late." Those are the first words he said to her in their first meeting.
Outraged, "Well, I'm terribly sorry. Do you actually expect me to meet an unknown person after receiving an anonymous email?!"
"Well, you still did."
"AH!"
The sighed and spoke. "I suppose let's get down to the business."
"Before that, it wouldn't hurt introducing yourself first, right?" Yuki asked.
The guy just stared at him and said "You need not to know who I 'am and I know everything about you so why bother?" he shrugged.
This guy is so annoying, Yuki felt like ripping him into tiny pieces.
While she was imagining all the ways she could torture him, he pulled out a journal and placed it on the table.
At one glance, she already recognized it. "Hey, that's mine." She then looked at her handbag and surprisingly, she pulled out a journal that looked exactly the same as the one on the table.
The journal looked like an antique book with golden designs. It was very old and one of a kind, Yuki thought that hers was the only one existing in the world.
That is the reason why she cannot believe her eyes on what she saw.
"That is mine." The guy claimed, sipping some coffee. "I want to know where you got yours."
"Why should I tell you?"
"Because you have no choice rather than to."
Yuki pouted and tried to make a determined face not to tell him anything. Seeing that she won't utter a word, he sighed and carefully placed the cup down.
"If you tell me, I'll let you read mine. How's that?"
Yuki stared at him and after a moment, she finally gave in. "I got it from my grandmother. My family's been passing it down for generations but my mom did not want it, so grandma gave it to me instead."
"Is that so?"
"Yes." She nodded. "Now let me read yours." She said forcefully.
The guy willingly handed it to her and Yuki hastily flipped through the worn-out pages.
Even the inside looks exactly like hers.
At the front page, the tittle 'Clover' was written on it using a weird green ink that never fades no matter how much the paper grows old.
The next pages were the beginning of the story that is beautifully hand written. It was about the history of Clover and how Harmonia came to existence.
Flipping the pages once again, the pages were blank. The words written in that journal was written by many different people, as their hand writings are obviously different.
She's the one in charge of continuing the story next, but she doesn't really have to confidence to write all her ideas. As a result, she was only able to write a few of how the story goes after then.
What piqued her interest as she reads his journal, it was exactly the same except for the hand writings.
And at the last part, the name 'Amane' was written where she wrote her given name 'Yuki'.
After that was the part where there were parents who chose death in order to bring a light of hope for their children's survival.
It was same thing she had written.
She looked at him and he placed his chin on his hand, staring at a distance.
"Weird, right?" he asked with a smile that she never seen until then.
Staring at him, she became curious. "How...did you know I have the same thing?"
"Something that commoners wouldn't know." He replied.
Damn rich kid!
"Well anyway," he took the journal away from her hands. "...Whatever this is it's a mystery. It would be wise not to let anyone know about it. After all, the story is just beginning."
That was the first time they met and Yuki thought that it would probably the last.
He probably ran away to meet her as he was in a hurry when he left.
And as for her, she never liked her family so she would often lock herself in her room.
Little did she know they would meet again. In Harmonia at the very least.
What the hell happened in her life?
"So, mister smarty, could you please tell me what's going on."
He stared at her with wolf cub face, he was so adorable she wanted to pinch him in the face
.
"Dunno."
"Seriously?"
"Well, since your awake now, I suppose looking for the twins would be the best thing we could do for now."
