"Child, I told you not to play in the rain, yet look at you, you got sick again." A fairy scolded a young girl that was sitting in the bed.
"I'm sorry, we didn't expect it to rain all of a sudden" she said apologetically
The fairy sighed then said as she made the girl lay down. "Oh well, just get some rest and get better soon."
She pulled the quilt over the girl and left the room. The girl was left there alone. The room was so big for the little her that she felt sad and lonely being left there all by herself.
But then, when she was about to sleep, her twin brother suddenly appeared by her side.
"Missed me?" he asked with a grin.
The girl looked at him with a slightly surprised expression. "Nisan, what are you doing here?"
"I came here to play with you of course." He said with a smile.
"But I can't play..." she said sadly.
He looked at her then laid beside her. "It's okay. Since you're sick, then go to sleep, and I'll stay by your side."
"I'm sorry..."
"What are you apologizing for?"
"You wanted to play outside, don't you? You don't have to stay here with me. And besides, Sychi might scold you too for being here."
The boy gazed at her; the girl was clearly unhappy as she hid half of her face under the quilt.
"But you'll be sad if I left you here alone." He said. "You might even cry, so I'll stay here with you."
"But--"
"Don't worry. Playing outside won't be as fun without you. I'll stay here by your side until you get better. Brother will take good care of you so you can rest okay."
"Okay..." the girl nodded. "Can I hug you?"
"Go ahead, you don't really have to ask permission."
"Thank you..."
He stayed there just as he said and read books while his dear twin sister was asleep. He took care of her and provided her company every time and in ever way he could.
The two of them were just perfect together.
A doll looking girl was hiding behind a large sculpture, apparently sulking. She hid her face on her knees as she sat there quietly.
"You're sulking again." A boy said, suddenly appearing and sitting by her side.
"Oh, you found me." She said avoiding his gaze.
"Of course, no matter where you ran off to, I'll always find you."
The girl didn't reply and just remained quiet. Seeing that she won't say anything, the boy took the lead to ask.
"So, what is it this time?"
The girl kept mum for a moment before she replied. "Nisan, how can I be as amazing as you?"
"I'm not that amazing." He said.
"But your good at everything. While I'm really good for nothing."
"That's not true. You're good at studies, your great at art, and play music really well too." He stated.
"But you're good at those things too." The girl proclaimed. "Your amazing at swordsmanship and you're so good at dancing too. As for me, I really suck at physical activities."
"You're just a bit weak. It's not your fault you have bad health."
"Not just a bit, I'm really weak. You also have bad health, I'm just way worse than you."
"Come on, sister. Don't say that. Even though I'm good at physical activities, you're greater than me in other aspects. Don't feel bad because of it." He told her.
The girl remained unconvinced though. "I just want to be as amazing as you are."
Knowing that his sister would not cheer up that easily, "Come here." He held her up and pulled her to the middle of the large palace dance hall.
He held her tightly and the two them danced together in complete sync as they followed the melody.
As her dress flutters in the air as they move around, she noticed that she was dancing perfectly and full of grace.
Looking at her brother's face, he was smiling at her. "See? You're really not that bad, you just don't have confidence." He said.
"Kira, do you know? Even though you're not that good at everything, I'm not that good at everything either and I'm not as amazing as you think. But when the two of us are together, were just perfect no one will be able to compare with us."
He smiled at her as they twirled around, waltzing elegantly in the music. "I only need you, and you only need me. Kira, I 'am yours and you are mine. As long were together, were the greatest! Were perfect! Even against the world, I'll always be with you. So enough feeling sad not being able to do everything anymore okay. Besides, you will look ugly if you're always sad"
"Nisan, if I'm ugly then so are you."
"Haha, I guess you're right. We have the same face after all."
As those memories shattered like glass, Kira suddenly found herself into a place where she can't find anything. There was nothing see except darkness. There was deafening silence and there is nothing to feel.
In the nothingness, she suddenly found herself gazing at her with an empty smile. No...it wasn't her; it was her one and only brother whom she loved the most and the dearest to her.
Her dearest brother turned around and started walking away from her. Seeing that he wasn't looking at her anymore, and he was leaving her, she ran hastily after him.
She kept running but he's not getting any closer. She reached her hand out, but he is just too far away for her little hand to reach.
There was a gap between the two of them that she cannot close, no matter how fast she moves her feet. It was only getting bigger. He was moving further and further away from her.
Because she is weak, she finally fell down. Tears welled from her eyes and when she looked around again. There was nothing but darkness and nothingness around her.
She was sitting there alone. She was alone again. He has left her and she was too weak to stop him.
...She was alone....

Kira suddenly woke up. Opening her eyes, she sat up. It was already morning and the sun was shining brightly. Looking around, she was at her room and Kishi wasn't there anymore.
Kira rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand, but she suddenly felt that her lashes were wet. Her cheeks were wet from tears and it seemed she was crying a lot while she was asleep.
She vaguely remembers anything.
Thinking about it deeply, they were at the island having a vacation when she was suddenly abducted by some unknown men.
They performed some kind of ritual at her but Kishi and the others rescued her just in time.
She also remembered being carried by her dear brother. She was so scared back then she did not want to be left alone. Because of that, she asked him to not leave her alone and stay by her side.
He gladly promised her and that gave her relief.
Promise...
She suddenly remembered Kishi looking at her with a blank smile at one night. Her heart suddenly thumped fast and loudly.
When she was at the verge of confusion and panic, Sychi suddenly came in and brought her a cup of medicine.
She placed it down on the table but before Sychi could say anything, Kira abruptly asked her.
"Sychi, where's nisan?"
"Kishi? He's at the study, why?"
Kira didn't reply and suddenly jumped off the bed. Her body is still weak and is hurting all over that she could hardly stand but she ran out of the room and went to the study as fast as she could.
She had a dream. It was really nice but she was so scared of it for some reason. It was a nightmare where she was crying and Kishi leaving her there alone.
She was scared. But She had faith in him. Her dear twin brother will never leave her alone. Never.
Ever since their birth, they had always been together. He had never left her alone crying once in their life and he had always been there for as long as she can remember. Kishi will not ever leave and make her feel alone. Not even in those four years that they were apart.
