Chapter 114 - Chapter 113 Sacred ritual of the Divine Kiss of transfer

The place she was in was terribly dark. She cannot move as her limbs were tied and the air around her was so thin.

Her heart was beating so fast and she can barely breathe. She was scared of dark and enclosed places. But she can only cry as she pleaded for help.

"Nisan...please help me...anyone...help. I'm scared...nisan....." Her voice was trembling as she cried helplessly.

She became even more scared when she saw the blood written enchantment. It was a complex magic circle written on the floor, and she sat on the center of it. Five candles were also around her, their flames burning calmly, barely lighting anything.

Although it was very complex, she was not that ignorant as to not know it. Sychi strictly introduced it to them, telling them to be very careful.

It was a preparation for a forbidden ritual of the Divine Kiss of transfer. It was a painful ritual that was performed so that the Sacred magic of the person who sits at the center of that magic circle will be transferred to the person who will kiss her.

Because of that, it was highly forbidden by the laws of Clover. However, that doesn't mean it cannot be performed. But whoever was caught performing it would face a severe punishment that is worse than death.

Kira felt so helpless and scared. Her fears are overwhelming her she did not know what to think.

Just when she was trembling as her tears wet her cheeks, she heard loud footsteps approaching her. Looking at that direction, a man came into view.

His figure was mostly hidden in the dark, so Kira cannot make out his features. But with the dim light of the candles, she can see his evil smirk that showed no mercy for a child like her.

"Begin the ritual." He ordered as five slaves emerged from behind him and simultaneously burned five talismans in each of the candles.

The candle lights flickered and turned from orange to blue. At that moment as well, the magic circle on the floor glowed. Kira then suddenly felt an intense pain coming from within her body, tearing her apart from the inside.

Even with all her efforts to resist the pain, she can't help but let out a terrible scream. She wanted to roll like a ball and hug her body, but her arms are tied so tightly she can't move at all.

The man just watched from the sidelines as she wailed so helplessly. He knew that she was so young, but he can't help but feel amazed. This girl was very powerful.

He knew that because the brighter the circle glowed, the powerfuller the person at the center is. And at that moment, the magic circle is glowing brighter than ever. The large dark place seemed nothing, that the light ignited the whole place, he can barely look at it.

He can't help but be astounded. How could such a young girl like her have this much power? He swore he would do anything to help this girl survive at the end of this ritual. He felt so lucky to have found her. If everything goes right, he will become the most powerful existence ever.

Kira did not know how long the ritual had been proceeding, but she felt it so long. She had been screaming for such a long time, her throat seemed to sore. But that pain was nothing compared to the one she had to endure until this ritual is over. It was just so terrible it seeped even to core of her bones. She wanted this to be over quickly. She did not know how much longer she could hold on.

She was already weak and tired. She even had not enough energy to even scream anymore. Blood had covered her lips and is flowing out from her eyes. Her vision is swirling and were mostly red. She could not think of anything except for the pain she was feeling.

The man walked in again. He just went out outside get some fresh air as his head started hurting due to his sudden exposure to this much magical energy.

When he returned, the girl was on the brink of passing out. The light of the magic circle around her had also died down a little. To be precise it was still glowing brightly, but not as fierce as before.

His heart seemed to skip a beat. He became so excited. His time had almost arrived. In just one kiss and this girl's extremely powerful magic will become his. He can't wait any longer.

He walked closer to the girl and crouched down in front of her. He held her chin and forced her to look at him. Her blood covered lips and her slightly reddening eyes were simply exquisite.

This is the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. She was no doubt the most beautiful girl to have ever existed. Her soft porcelain skin, her snow-white hair, her rosy cheeks, and her rose-gold eyes, complemented each other, giving her a gentle and elegant look. He can't help but stare at the girl before him.

He thought that after this, he will keep the girl. He will nourish her and wait patiently until she grows up. She was just beautiful, and how much more beautiful she can become when she grows up? He would never get tired of her.

Kira was starting to feel really hopeless. Is this it? The smile of the man in front of her gave her chills. It was the smile of feeling a great victory and excitement. It was a greedy smile full of lust for both power and women. That look he gave her made her remember the cruel past she suffered from.

Just like him, those people never showed any mercy on her, not even the slightest bit. They did not see her as a child or a human, they see her as a vessel, a tool for great power that they can expend anytime they want.

Licking his tongue, the man was about to kiss her when a magical projectile suddenly flew past between their faces.

"It seems I have run out of time." He said not moving an inch, looking at the entrance from the corner of his eyes.

"Let go of my sister you bastard." Kishi told him as floating golden flames hovered around him.

The man leaned backward and looked at him. He saw that there was nothing but four children at the entrance, yet he also knew that he can't underestimate them.

Straightening himself, he faced them with a sneer. With his eyes on them, he can see that they were just young children, perhaps the same age as the girl beside him. But what caught his attention, was the boy who spoke earlier. He looked exactly like her. From the hair, to their eyes, to the shape of their faces, it all looked the same even to the tiniest detail. He can also feel that their magical aura is also the same, not just similar. He became curious. Is this the legendary cursed twins? The very same twins that is believed to be the very same person that was divided into two? He became thrilled to know that they are.

He inched toward the boys with a sly smile. The four of them though, didn't took a step backward and even looked at him without fear and outmost confidence.

He did not underestimate them, but are they the ones underestimating him? They seem very confident that they'll be able to defeat him easily. Very well, perhaps he needed to teach them a lesson.

"You're E-class students, aren't ya?" He asked. He took a yellow crystal from his pocket and it suddenly became a big mace. His smile got bigger and the children felt a bad feeling about it. "...That means you're only first years and you won't be allowed to wield any real weapons unlike the other fourth years here at the island. You should be very careful about who you ask fights for."

He raced his mace and hit the solid ground. From where his mace hit, the stone suddenly rose and formed spikes toward them. Fortunately, with Lune's magic, a thick tree trunk grew abruptly from the ground and blocked the man's attack.

"You should leave this guy to us Kishi. Go take care of Kira."

Although Kishi didn't like Airi's idea and he really wanted to beat the crap out of that guy who dared hurt his dear sister, he had no choice but to do as he says. Kira should always go first before anything else. She is also very weak right now she might get caught in the fight.

Rex turned to Lune and Airi and asked them. "So, who's turn is it this time?"

"Me." Lune said not paying much attention to them and is still reading a book.

Lune advanced forward, not waiting for their reply. He did not close his book, nor raised his eyes from whatever he was reading, despite the fact that he was volunteering to battle the man that was in front of him.

Several trees rose from the ground and twisted like they were made out if rubber to the guy's position.

Although the trees erupted from all direction, the man easily cut through all of them with a single wave of his mace, turning them to splinters.

Smirking he said, "Now it's my turn."

He hammered his mace on the floor again and the spiky stones were higher than the previous ones. It went straight to Lunes direction, and just like before, Lune blocked it with a tree trunk.

However, this time, the tree was crushed and Lune was forced to close his book an withdraw. Clicking his tongue, he realized that the man before him was dangerous.
