"Summon!!"
A lion appeared from thin air and pounced on the two of them, but before it could attack them with its razor-sharp claws, the lion quickly backed down and slumped before Kishi and Airi's feet.
The crown price of the Leon Kingdom was dumbfounded when his summoned lion suddenly surrendered, but Kishi knew why and gazed at Airi.
The latter did not understand the meaning behind his gaze and just petted the Lion that was lying before him, and even rolled over playfully in his gentle touch.
Completely taken aback, the guy quickly casted another spell that was a bright yellow light that flew towards the two of them.
The spell immediately dissipated before it completely touched Kishi. While Airi paid no heed to it, as the yellow light flew close enough to him and halted in midair, before turning gold and galaxy like, and altering its trajectory, flying back to the guy who casted it. Who barely dodge the spell by reflex, as the large glass window behind him exploded, shattering into pieces.
Stunned, he merely staggered. "I'll deal with him" Kishi volunteered, but Airi couldn't care less.
As he approached him, the guy became even more frantic and slumped down with his knees shaking.
"Oh? Given up already? I thought that you were better than this. How disgraceful!" Kishi spat at him.
"DAMN YOU MONSTER!!!"
The guy screamed shooting multiple lights at him. Kishi though, easily dodged every single one of them, well not that he needed to since magic proved worthless against him.
A light flew past him towards Airi, -- who was still playing with the summoned lion -- and cut the ribbon on his neck, losing its purpose as the pink tips of Airi's hair appeared once again.
"Y-you-L-lord A-Airi!!"
"My bad, that goes for our cover." Airi said, with no clear expression.
"Jeez, Airi...After all that trouble, who would have thought that you'll be blowing our cover..." Kishi sighed as he looked at him.
To stunned for words, that guy could only looked back and forth at the two of them. He did not expect to unexpectedly bump into one of the members of the SSS ranked family of the Rosaroses. What's more, their former heir, and their newly declared lordship.
"You...who are you?..." he asked Kishi, curious about who this unknown person is that is currently accompanying such highly renowned person.
However, he did not realize that it was a bad idea to ask until it was too late.
Kishi revealed a sinister smile that gave him a bad feeling. The white-haired boy threw him some sort of badge from his pocket.
It was a royal insignia. The finest one in all that he knew. It was very exquisite, and it was very beautiful and symbolizes the true essence of magic itself. But despite him seeing it for the very first time, he was not innocent. It was the crest of one of the five great empires that ruled over Harmonia. It was the crest of the Enchanted palace, the palace who wields a magic that controls all kinds of magic in existence. No wonder none of his spell worked on him. He already lost right from the very beginning.
His face ashen and his mouth hung open as he trembled, Kishi mercilessly said to him. "Aren't you ashamed? Tormenting the weak just like that when you yourself is worthless. Tsk! disgraceful!"
As soon as he said that, the guy quickly kneeled and begged for his forgiveness. He was previously so prideful, but now he lost all his so-called pride against a young boy whose age is just half as his. The way Kishi beat him down, was totally merciless, to rob a lion of its own pride.
"Airi!!"
Shock by his sudden call, Airi jumped up and looked at him before getting what he meant.
"Oh, Yes! right! Sorry!"
Airi covered his eye that was galaxy like in color. The moment he did, the powerful aura that was surrounding him disappeared and returned back to normal. It seems that he was losing control of his Celestial powers lately.
"Sychi would be really mad if she found out that you're starting to lose control." Kishi said.
"But it's only for a moment!" Airi protested.
"Long moment" Kishi corrected him.
Ignoring Airi's glare at him, Kishi strode towards his sister. He slightly bent down and reached out a hand to her, which she did not hesitate and accepted it.
He pulled her up and held her tightly in his embrace. Kira on the other hand, leaned comfily on him with a proud and elegant smile.
Looking at them Celes can't help but be captivated by their charm. The two of them together, it was priceless. A cold, powerful, yet beautiful young man, and a sweet, kind, and elegant young girl in his arms. The gentle way he looked at her, and her proud gaze of him, was utterly beautiful. The two of them together looked like angels, elegant and beautiful. She had never seen anything like it.
As she gazed at them fully mesmerized, Kishi reached out his free hand to her and Kira beamed at her kindly yet proudly still.
"It seems that we forgot to introduce ourselves." He said. "Kishi and Kira of Enchanted empire, and that idiot over there is Airi of Rosaroses...It's was a pleasure to meet you..."
"No, the pleasure is mine. I'm Celes by the way."
After introducing themselves, Celes slowly raised her hand and accepted his. Little did she know, that It was then when her life begun to change, and never again be the same.
"Wow, from the looks of it, you've improved in socialization. I suppose you don't need my help in this anymore do you. Have you already gotten over with your phobia?"
"Dammit Airi!! Well done ruining everything!" Kishi told him sarcastically.
"Yeah, whatever. But I'm happy for ya"
"Honestly, were already exhausted, both physically and mentally. I feel like passing out any second now..." said Kishi.
"Me too..." Kira agreed.
"So where to next?" Kishi asked Airi.
Airi sighed. "We've already failed the test, so no point continuing. How about we go home."
Airi did say home, but he didn't mean the Rosarose mansion. The twins noticed that his home had been the palace, despite it only have been a very short time. They were delighted to hear it of course, but they were anxious. No matter what might happen, he was still a rose and the mansion should always be his home. He cannot abandon it.
Although they were the ones who encouraged him to make a run for it now, it wasn't their intention for him to abandon his home.
"Yeah, lets go home." Kishi told him, forcing a smile. "Celes, I think you should also come with us."
"Me? No, you shouldn't bother...I--" She quickly denied but,
"Were pretty sure that you have nowhere else to go, but if really don't want to, we won't force you"
"I well..."
"Come on sister, we'll be happy to have you around!" Kira said, making have no other choice but to accept.
...
"Why did you bring me here?"
Airi questioned indifferently after finding themselves in the Rosarose mansion.
"To bring you home obviously." Kishi stated in a matter-of-factly tone
Airi shot daggers at him, forcing him to sigh and explain himself. "Look, were sorry okay. But we just wanted to help you. Airi, this place is still your home, we don't want you to abandon it."
Airi clicked his tongue in annoyance and strode away. The twins could just look at each other and sigh.
