Waking up, Kira rolled to the side and stared at her dear brother that was sleeping right beside of her.
His long lashes were beautiful and he looked so innocent and cute like a puppy. Everything about him now was so peaceful that was entirely different when he's wide awake. Kira can't help but smile.
"Pretty..."
Those words escaped her mouth without her realizing it. Airi who was half awake was weirded out by her sudden praise.
"Calling someone that looked exactly like you pretty is weird, you know that? Haven't you got enough by looking at your own face in the mirror?"
Airi rubbed his sleepy eyes as he sat up. Stunned by his presence, Kira jerked up and glared at him with her face turning bright red.
"Airi.....!"
Airi just looked at her with his lead lazily leaned to the side. Kira was extremely embarrassed, she didn't mean to say anything, and why is he here? Kira was slightly annoyed.
"Airi you meanie!!" She throwed a pillow at him but Airi easily dodged it.
He smirked, "ashamed? What am I gonna do with you Kira?"
Kira turned even more red and fiercely throwed another pillow at him. But this time, Airi wasn't prepared and it hit his face.
"Ha! You asked for it!" He then returned the pillow but Kira ducked just in time. Unfortunately, the pillow went past her and almost hit the sleeping Kishi, but luckily, Kira casted a spell that makes things levitate so that it wouldn't hit him.
The two of them exhaled deeply as if they forgot to breathe. The last thing they ever wanted to do is to bother Kishi and wake him up. The two of them exchanged looks before they chuckled.
"What a deep sleeper, I can't believe that he didn't wake up after that"
"Well it's a good thing he didn't"
"Yeah" Airi sighed
As his gaze was at her, Kira picked up the pillow and gave it a cuddle. Airi then wondered,
"Say Kira, you're supposed to be afraid of humans, right?"
Kira nodded, "Mm, why do you ask?"
"Well, you're good at talking, I'd say far better than me. Why?"
Kira considered him for a second. "Airi, you sure ask a lot of odd questions lately. But...humans aren't the only creatures that can communicate. There are the elves, the dryads, the vampires, the sirens, the were-creatures, the fairies, the spirits, some of the few dragons, and a lot more. And from what I learned for them; I should speak my heart. I can't lie to myself; I might try to hide the truth from others, but there's no way I can hide that from myself. I decided; I should do and say things I want, and regret nothing. I don't want to wake up one day, saying that I should have said something or done something, then realize that it's too late. So, I just want to be free, so I wouldn't have to regret anything from my life. And whether they like me or not I don't care. I just wanted Oni-chan to be with me forever."
She looked at him and smiled brightly "Besides, you and the others have beautiful eyes. I don't really think of you much like a human" she proclaimed
To Airi, that sounded weird. "What do you think of us then?"
Kira turned red once again and buried her face on the pillow. Airi couldn't help but chuckle, looking at her now after she said those things earlier.
"You know, there's also a lot of good things in humans. Were different than the other creatures, as some way. But don't worry, it's okay to weird sometimes."
"damn it! The two of you are way to noisy!" Kishi suddenly throwed a pillow at Airi's face that knocked him down.
After getting up, Airi said while rubbing his face. "Kishi you prick! How long have you been awake anyway!"
Airi sent the pillow back flying at him. Kishi caught it and stood up, getting ready to throw it back to him when the doors suddenly slammed open.
Rex, Yin, Yang, along with Mythica and Bubblegum entered.
"Wake up, sleepy heads!" Said Rex
Airi, Kishi and Kira just stared at them. "Don't you know how to knock?" Kishi coldly asked him.
"Sorry about that" Rex apologized before turning to Airi. "Airi, catch him." He demanded
"What?!" Kishi asked in bewilderment. Airi looked at him and he did the same.
"Sorry bro" he simply said before holding him tightly.
And so there they are at the E-class's lounging room. Kishi was sitting at the floor with his face like tomato. He was wearing a white dress, and a long white wig was placed a top of his head. He looked exactly like Kira this way.
"Adorable..." the two girls praised him
"Damn hell! If you want to know what I look like as a girl, you just have to look at Kira. There's no point it doing this!" He said angrily. Sadly, he may want to ran away now or at least take the girly things off of him, he was totally locked motionless by the other children's spells.
"Don't get the wrong idea. We played a game against the girls and we lost." Yin looked at Yang and Rex. "And so, we promised them to make you a girl for tonight and a whole day"
"What's that gotta do with me?!"
"You need to help us" Rex replied "'Cause if you don't, then the two of them will kill us"
"I don't care"
Hopeless that they couldn't persuade him to agree, they all stared at Kira. She was there only hope. She's the only one who could force him do things.
Kishi's also silently pleading at his sister. Her say in this will conclude what will happen next, and her words are highly valued. He was expecting her to save him this time. Alas, Kira didn't take his side.
With her head slightly leaned, her index finger pressing on her lips, she cheerfully answered after giving it some thought.
"Why not"
Delight quickly spread in the boys faces and so goes for the girls that they could hardly contain their joy as broad smiles surfaced their faces.
Kishi however, was depressed. He was sulking. Kira betrayed him a lot of times now, he should have expected that. Why is always listening to her anyway? He doesn't know.
As he was surrounded with gloom, while the rest was full of joy, Kira warmly smiled at him and gave him a comfy hug.
"Don't worry, 'cause now, the two of us are exactly alike. Nisan is pretty and me too. Nisan should always remember that I love you very much"
Kishi blushed after hearing her words. Kira, she was truly his biggest weakness and his biggest strength. He could never imagine what he'd do without her. It made him scared even more.
The spell casted on to him was somehow useless as he embraced her back and held her tightly. He thought that he already moved on, but in the end, he did not. He was scared, he wanted to stop time, he wanted to stay like this forever, he doesn't want to let go. If only.....if only a magic that controls time exist, he would get his hand on it no matter what. But reality isn't that nice. Such thing never existed in their world.
The girls played with him until night and the whole day next morning. They also didn't allow him to take things off even at class or during breaks. The two looked so much alike that if they walk around together or just stood side by side, it was almost impossible to tell the difference. Only a few of their classmates can identify them as well. The only ones who could are those who were perceptive and can notice Kishi's awkwardness and stiffness.
Kishi couldn't care less anymore. Since Kira asked, he just did what Mythica and Bubblegum told him to, and remained mum.
