'They are cursed with four of the five unliftable curses in the world. The Curse of the 'Sacred Vows', Curse of 'Immortality', Curse of 'Endless Rebirth', and 'Contradiction'. They are destined to follow the same steps as their predecessors and repeat what happened a million years in the past. You can't change that. One of them will perish in the others hand while the other will be consumed with rage and destroy the world with their infinite power, and there's nothing you can do about it!'
The healers voice ringing in his ears
'One of them will perish in the others hand while the other will be consumed with rage and destroy the world with their infinite power'
He kept hearing those words again and again.
As Kishi left the room, he's hands started to violently shaking. He held it, but it still won't stop trembling. He felt suffocated he was gasping for air as perspiration covered him. He can feel the color draining from his face and all his strength withering away. It was so hard for him to breathe.
No longer able to stay there, he started running with no clear destination. He just ran and ran, hoping he could clear his mind and forget all that he had heard.
He went there to give his dear sister a gift. When he was about to knock and enter the door, he heard Sychi and Apollo talking. Curious, he peeked through the slightly open doors hoping to see what they were doing. But he now realized it was a mistake.
He heard it all, he heard everything they talked about. Sychi was right to keep it all a secret from them. He doesn't want to know anything; he just can't face the truth. He wanted to run away and pretend he heard nothing. But their voices just won't leave him alone.
He covered his ears hoping he wouldn't hear anything. Alas, it doesn't work at all.
Exhausted, he collapsed and fell on the ground. It was still winter, but there was a part in the palace garden that is as fresh and green as the spring.
He stared at the clear blue sky. The fresh scent of the grass and beautiful sky didn't calm him down.
The words he heard is still in his head, he can't forget about it.
He remembered a part of the book he was reading. At that part, Life asked Death of why they loved him while they hated the latter. Death's answer was simple, it's because life is a beautiful lie, while death was the painful truth.
Truth really does hurt. It was so hard to accept he felt like running away from it. He wanted to run away forever and just believe that beautiful lie with the two of them together for an eternity.
They said immortality is a curse. He didn't believe it at first. He thought that as long as he's with her, living for an eternity doesn't seem so bad. But now he understands, he simply can't live with the truth, much less by himself.
'One of them will perish in the others hand while the other will be consumed with rage and destroy the world with their infinite power'
Who will be the one to die?
Even though it wasn't specifically said which among the two of them will meet their demise, Kishi already know who among the two of them will. He can't bear to think about it.
Will Kira die? And in his hands? Why would he kill her? Why does she have to die? Why is the world so unfair?
He already knew why he would he end up destroying the world. If Kira died because of him; he can't possibly live with himself. He just knew he will the one to do so, because Kira isn't the one who can do or cause such a thing. Only he, and will only be he.
His mind was in complete chaos. He can't think of anything else. He wanted to forget but he can't.
The pleasant sound of the rustling trees, or the fresh warm wind of that spring part of the garden can't ease his woes, neither can the beautiful and fragile winter outside of it.

Kail, Sychi, and Apollo was already done discussing the message that Kail told them when Kira woke up.
She can feel a familiar warmth creasing her hair, but knew very well it isn't her dear brother's. She was disappointed to know wasn't him. When she opened her eyes, the first thing she saw was Kail who was beaming at her.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes, and noticed that something was in her hand. She opened her palm to see a beautiful brooch in it. She was delighted even though it's just a simple thing. To her, every gift her brother gave her was precious and she cherished it a lot no matter it's value. Her happiness can't be surprised as a broad smile appeared in her face.
She looked around and saw Sychi and Apollo there, but there was no sign of Kishi.
"Nisan..."
"He ran off somewhere. We don't know where though" Kail told her
Disappointed she said "Oh, okay. I'll look for him then"
"go on"
She jumped off the bed and left the room. She didn't know where to look, so she tried to find him using their bond as twins.
It was then when she felt herself trembling. Her heart was also filled with uneasiness that she felt worried. She didn't know what happened when she was asleep, but there's something that tells her that something bad had happened. She then quickly went to where Kishi is.
Tired of running around the palace, she was panting when she found Kishi lying on the grass on the spring part of the palace garden.
Knowing that Kishi was troubled, she tried her best to muster her loveliest smile and sat beside him.
Some of Kishi's anxiety were somehow relieved. He opened his eyes to see his dear sister beaming a him. Instead of being delighted, he started to worry. He's definitely scared, really scared.
He suddenly leaped up and embraced her tightly; tears welling in his eyes. He was afraid of the fate they have to face; he doesn't want to let her go.
Although surprised with his sudden movements, she just decided to go along and hugged him in return. She can feel his pain overflowing, she knew something might have happened. Yet even if she can feel his pain, their strong link with each other can't tell her exactly what's wrong. But for even Kishi, the brother whose always strong that she looked up to broke down like this, it must have been really bad.
She wanted him to tell her, and they can share their pain together. But she also knew Kishi would not utter a word about it. He's the type who carries all the burden in his own that he's always the one being depended on, while he doesn't want to depend on others. Seeing him like this breaks her heart.
After a while he decided to rest in her lap, as she makes a circlet out of flowers.
"Can we stay like this for a while?" He asked
"I don't know what's going on, but just this once, alright?" She smiled
Kishi closed his eyes to sleep. Her with him makes things feel a lot batter even though it truly isn't. But for now, he felt comfortable and at ease...

Kira was about to finish two garlands and was wearing the first one, when Kishi opened his eyes again. He seemed better than before, but the distress he felt earlier can't be hidden in his eyes.
He sat up and gazed at her. He still looked frail and anxious that Kira can only sigh and smile at him.
"Kira..." His voice quiet and still trembling "your going to stay with me forever, right? That you're not gonna leave me, no matter what"
Taken aback by his sudden question, Kira sighed and finished the circlet and placed it above her brother's head.
She gave him a reassuring smile and said, "Of course! We promised right? You promised me and I promised you too. It's as simple as that"
