Chapter 3 - Chapter 2 School of magic

Two letters came soaring in the air folded like crane, dropped in front of Kishi. He was confused; it was the first letter that ever came in the palace for as long as he can remember.

"If you're not going to pick it—I will"

Man wearing red royal clothing looking like a prince has blonde hair fading to pink and has black tips, handsome and young looking, picked the letters from the floor said.

Kishi looked at him blankly. Then Sychi, a fairy from the palace appeared again in midair and said

"A surprise it is Meijin….. I didn't know you were coming"

"Ah…yes…. I forgot to tell you--- you see this is quite urgent I'm quite sure you don't mind." He replied while handling out one letter to Kishi, and the opening the other.

Sychi read it with him silently so that Kishi wouldn't know what it says.

Dear sacred palace of Enchancia, (Enchanted palace)

I would like to inform you that, the special class: E-class would be starting this year 101055 or XX55 at first fall. I heard Kira was not present at the moment and Kishi's not in his normal self but fear not. We would take good care of him in the name of Magic High and the elite guild of the Cursed Dragons.

I would also inform you that Kishi will be supervised by Amili, a princess from the race of spirit fairies, a successor of our proud school, and a member of the guild as well. And also I swear, [our secrets are assured].

Yours sincerely,

Amy

Dean (headmistress)

Sychi looked at Kishi who is staring suspiciously at them. "Don't you think it's a bit early though?" she said

"I s'pose…. But it's the guilds decision" Meijin whispered "Fine….But it will take a lot of persuading to do this" She said bluntly

"Are you not going to read it?" Meijin said trying to sway Kishi's suspicion

"Err…..Right…"

Kishi folded out the paper crane and read

Dear Kishi,

I would like you to join my honorable school called Magic High. You may be thinking that you are a bit too young to go on high school, but you are include in a special category meant for geniuses of all ages: The E-class.

You would be attending at the first fall at Magic High first room at second floor of the main building. But first go to the dean's office at highest floor of the Tower of wings.

Yours sincerely,

Amy

Dean (headmistress)

Kishi gave out a cold smile and said coldly "What? Is this a joke? School are you kiddi'n, this is nothing more but a big piece of crap."

"Oh, Why not?" Meijin asked him "It might be a new experience...….I'm pretty sure It is much nicer to go out there in the real world rather than to stay here all bored."

"Yeah-yeah-whatever, do whatever you want I don't care" Kishi replied coldly throwing the letter carelessly putting one hand at his pocket and the other waving at Meijin and Sychi

"So you're goin' then?" Meijin asked once again, but this time no reply came out of Kishi, instead he walked away turning his back on them. "I'll take that as a yes then" he said. Sychi looked at him and released a soft breath while shaking her head.

And just like that, summer ended, the leave's colors turned warm, and the first leaf had fallen.

Kishi chose to use teleportation crystals to go there. When he arrived, it was full of many children; some others came like he did, and some rode unicorns, looking like horses with magical horns and beautiful mane, flying carriage driven by Pegasus, horses with wings, and some used dragons as a

way of travelling.

He entered a gate about twenty four feet high, after it was the schools main square where the path-walk is made out of white marble and a humongous fountain is at the middle. A long walk had to be done before the towers and buildings come to sight. The school was big, the grounds are as far as the eye can see, and the towers are tall, that the top is hidden by the clouds; the other structures are so big it's over whelming. But this kind of sight isn't new to Kishi, as a matter of fact; the palace where he lived in was thrice the size of the whole school.

Since the school is big, maps are everywhere to be found, each structures has its own names written in calligraphy that can be read in multiple banners of all shapes and sizes hanging in each of its

walls.

Kishi had easily found the fairy building, and reached the highest floor. What confronted him was huge pair of doors made out of thick and heavy oak. He politely knocked at the door and a voice had told him to come in

He carefully opened the heavy doors and came in… The room behind it was rounded; a large glass window was to be seen. Many books neatly arranged in shelves are blocking a little sunlight from it along with large and thick curtains barely blocking anything. An office table was at the center and in front of it were two large sofas and a coffee table.

A lady with blonde hair and a fabulous posture was sitting at the chair behind the table facing the entrance. A beautiful young lady, also with blonde hair, well-mannered looking was facing the large glass window looking below at the children in their uniforms walking at the main square. Kishi thought that the two of them were discussing something that made him feel like interrupting something important.

The lady facing him beamed and said "My child, be at ease…you're not interrupting anything" Kishi was astonished as if she read his mind. "I' am Amy, the dean of this school; it's delightful to know you came" She said still smiling

"Err…..nice-to-meet-you…" Kishi replied with doubt, feeling a bit awkward

"Mother…I-mean…dean….. You do know Kishi's not good with people" The young lady spoken.

"Oh! Yes of course" the dean replied "Oh, and by the way, she is Amili, and she would be your homeroom teacher."

Kishi was rendered speechless. He doesn't know much about communication to say anything.

"We should be going…. The other children are waiting…. At that fact they might be in a major chaos right now" Amili said anxiously

"Very well…. But take good care of Kishi" Amy waved good bye at them

Kishi followed Amili silently and they went in to a very large roman styled building with the Magic High's logo on top of it. An enormous room was behind another heavy door; it has red carpets leading to a big staircase that leads to a hall on the second floor of the building, and connecting to two different smaller staircases leading to opposite directions towards the third floor.

They walked through a grand hall in the second floor still with red carpets on the floor, to a white pair of doors. As Amili opened the door, Kishi saw a teenage boy, and standing in front of him was a younger boy not far from Kishi's age and beside him were two identical girls he guessed as twins and another girl hiding behind them. The teenage boy seemed to be asking for a fight against them, but all the others inside the room except from a red headed boy was looking very furious at the guy that created an obvious start of one versus several others.

Amili came straight inside, but Kishi doubted whether he would come in, and decided not to.

"Okay that's enough now…..Go back to your seats" Amili interjected the commotion.

"But Aunty...." A boy cried

"No excuses! Settle down NOW!!"

Everyone sat back to their seats unhappily though still looked at the guy with distaste.

"Now….I'll be introducing someone to you lot. But be sure to welcome him nicely." She called him in

Kishi entered and walked straight to the center of the room as Amili snuggled him, introducing Kishi to everyone.

"This is Kishi....And he, children, is from the great Enchanted Palace"

The children became petrified; they experienced being a member of the noble realm as the top, labeled as A to S class rank. But hearing the word Enchanted palace was a different story. It is at the sacred realm, the highest realm existing. And being a part of the palace named him as a sacred royal: The highest and most power fullest rank one could ever gain.

The room was filled with long silence until a boy called Airi also nine years old, has golden brown hair with pink tips, charming looking and has rose-pink eyes shouted "Wait it's you!!"

"You know him??" a girl asked

"Err...I-Ah…..I met him at enchanted forest four years ago"

"Oh…. That's nice" Amili smiled at Airi "Well, go ahead and seat darling"

Kishi sat a seat apart from Airi beside Lune, a boy with bright purple hair and emerald like eyes stuffing his nose on a book. In a sudden, pink light in a form of words appeared right in front of Kishi that read:

Hey

Have a moment

-->

Kishi looked at him without turning his head. He saw Airi seeking his attention trying not to be noticed. Kishi became annoyed and heartlessly ignored him.

"Okay everyone, most of you already know who I 'am but in concern to those who doesn't, my name's Amili of the Spirit fairies. And I expect all of you to call me professor as I 'am you're teacher." Almost everyone giggled. Amili sighed. "Anyway, I'll only explain this briefly… This is E-class, a class of the elites, a class of the extraordinary. This class holds many important secrets never to be told to anyone outside of it. You are all expected to perform well and responsibly. All of you here are also a part of the Guild of the Cursed Dragons, already or to be. And lastly, you all are one big family one of the same expected to help each other and to cooperate with each other. Those are the rules, the rules of E-class aside of the rules of this school, these rules shall not be broken. Now that it's all clear, all those who refuse to follow except for those who are already a part of this organization may very well leave this room."

The teenage boy that sought to pick a fight against the majority, stood. He has grey hair, blue eyes but not as pretty looking like everyone else.

"Hmpr! So, were allowed to leave then" He said and started walking towards the door "You know what? I don't need to be a part of you stinking trash lot to be the best of everything." He said insolently while slamming the door behind him

Kishi stood on top the table "Can I leave then?" he sneered

"Well…. Is there anyone else?" Professor Li ignored him

"I said I wish to go"

"If so, you may not"

"Why not? I thought you said all those whom refuse may leave"

A silence struck the room

"Clever boy" An old man in fancy robes broke the silence. He walked towards Amili as everyone stared at him. "Dear Kishi, grateful to see you"

"Who?" Kishi asked

"I begged my pardon" The old man smiled at him "I' am professor Sy, one of the teachers of the first and previous generation E-class, current member of The Guardians of the Clovers, and one of the school's proud elders"

The children shook their heads; even Kishi himself was amazed himself. "This is quite astonishing, but I wish to go"

"My child, be honest with yourself and tell me your heart's desire" Sy asked

"I wish to Leave" he said again

"Your eyes tell me the opposite thing. Would you still do so if I say your long awaited is found within this path..." he smiled "It's all your choice?"

Amili whispered to him "thank you". He left then leaving Kishi grinning in misery as he lost the argument and sat once again in his seat. The class continued with only one decline.

During break, he was once again requested to drop by the dean's office but with Airi this time. The two of them left the main building to the Tower of Wings. Airi opened the heavy doors and came in first followed by Kishi. The moment Airi came in the room he sat carefree in the sofa showing no sign of respect.

"So… Why'd you call us old hag?" Airi's words made the Dean a little pissed off that she smiled coldly at him

"Airi my boy, if you may please not call me an old hag, especially in front of others. Okay?"

"Why not? I'm only telling the truth… Oh and Kishi, don't be fooled by that young disguise of her. Believe me or not she's been here more than a century."

"Dum' ass" Kishi said coldly "Since Spirit Fairies are running this school, I'm not surprised she's living here for more than a century. Cause dumb asses like you don't know that Spirit Fairies live for over five hundred years, and living for only more than a century marks them as a young adult"

"Wow.... Know it all" Airi said sarcastically

"Anyway… Airi will you take Kishi to a tour around the campus. And also show him to his dorm, he's also fire by the way."

"Wait he is?!" Airi said excitedly. The dean smiled

With no further conversations, the two of them returned to class and walked around the school afterwards.
