[HELL YEAH I LOVE THIS WAY OF TRAVEL]! We just left the town I uhh... Decimated. {You know most people would get sick from this kind of travel}. [I DON'T CARE]! maybe it's the Draconic side of me but I relish in the feeling of the wind hitting my scales nothing feels better to me than this.
[It's a freedom that I've always dreamed of]. {And of course, I'm the transporter}. Max grumbles to himself but I don't care. I'm resolved to let the death of my friend never control me I'll live my life as I promised him I would.
{Looks like we're nearing the Lycanthrope pack}. A feeling of excitement welled up within me. [It's been forever since I last saw them I wonder how they were doing]. The last time I saw them was at the tournament where I was dubbed the freak of nature.
[I can also tell them about my abilities as well]. This also excited me since I had to hide my powers the last time. Thoughts of praise drifted through my mind. Call me stuck up or whatever but what's power if it's never used.
{You think dangerously my friend}. [Does it matter I'm a Kobold it's not like I have responsibility weighing me down or anything]. {Fair enough}.
We were nearing the location so we decide to set down between the trees as to not be seen. [LET'S GO LET'S GO LET'S GO]! I excitedly rush off into the direction.
{Crimson the village is that way}. Max points ninety degrees to the right of me showing where the location of where it actually was to me. I froze up in the middle of my mad sprint. [Uhh yeah I knew that].
I start rushing towards the village and the borders of it came to view. Max hid inside my shadow as I continued on my sprint to the village.
As I approach the borders I stop running. "HALT WHAT BUSINESS DO YOU HAVE HERE"!? I'm stopped by a Lycanthrope wearing full armor and holding a spear that bars my path. [Hmm I just want to see my friends who live here]. The two guards whisper to each other silently.
"Well, what could one Kobold do go ahead". They let me into the pack den. Sure I'm angry about the insult and all but hey it happens all the time. All around the den Lycanthropes scurried around, there were merchants and blacksmiths even a few traveling monster traders.
[What a cool place]. {Well it figures since this is a large well-known pack}. I continue to look around in awe and amazement as I continue to walk around.
-OOMPH- Accidentally bumping into someone I'm sent on my butt due to the size difference. [Oww sorry about tha-]. "WHAT'S THE BIG IDEA"!
An angry-looking Lycanthrope starts to yell at me. "WHATS A KOBOLD DOING HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE HUH WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU LITTLE SHIT"! A vein sprouts from my head as I get pissed off from what this guy is saying.

-BAM- In a mere second, the Lycanthrope yelling at me is now on the ground lying on his head. [Shut up it's annoying]. Even if my friends live here I won't take kindly to being mocked.
The crowd breaks apart in astonishment as they just stared at me. "ALRIGHT WHAT'S GOING ON"? I heard a familiar voice to see Conan pushing through the crowd. "Huh, Crimson is that you"? [Sup buddy].
Conan gives me a warm greeting as the witnesses just stare with confusion. "Ow Ow Ow". The Lycanthrope I knocked on his head started waking up. He stares at Conan than me then Conan again.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING CONAN HE JUST ATTACKED ME THROW HIM IN JAIL"! -BAM- This time Conan smacked him straight on the top of the head. "QUIET MANDRIN THIS IS THE FREAK OF NATURE I WAS TALKING ABOUT WHO SAVED KANS LIFE"!
He stares at me with a scared look. "Yo-YOUR THE FREAK OF NATURE"!? I just stick my tongue out at him and give him the middle finger in response. Once the truth was realized he quickly ran off. "Sorry about that Crimson". Conan apologized to me on his behalf. [It's fine I'm used to it anyway how's Kan doing]?
Conan and I start walking through the streets talking about recent events. I leave out the part about destroying the town and the death of my clan. "You've been busy, haven't you. [Yeah it's been rough].
We approach the Elders house. "Kan and the elder will be excited to see you, you should have sent a message first you know". [Eh I would have traveled faster anyways.
Unlocking the door Conan leads me inside. "I'm back" Conan shouts to notify whoever is in the house. "Welcome ba-". I hear Kan's familiar voice which still surprises me that she's a girl to this day.
"Crimson is that you"? [Hey their been a while]. The Elder appears from around the corner as well. "Did I hear something about that Kobold"? [Hey their elder senile as ever huh]. "Why it is you".
I walk up to the elder as Kan runs past me. -BAM- "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL US HE WAS COMING"! -BAM BAM BAM- With every word she said Conan got smacked on the head again. *Ahh some things never change*.
"I'm sorry he never sent a letter though". Conan begs for some shred of Mercy which never comes. [So elder how's it going]? "Oh everything is going well come this way and I'll show you to a room".
I follow the elder and enter a luxurious room with a bed and other accommodations. [Whoa this is awesome]. I look around in amazement and wonder. "This will be where you stay for the time being I hope this is satisfactory". [Of course, it is].
I throw myself on the bed reveling I'm the feeling. "Looks like dinner should be ready in a while your free to join us if you like". [I'll take you up on that offer]. With that, the elder leaves the room and I lay down to pass the time.
[Think this was a good idea, Max]? {Yeah we might even be able to get some fighting tips while we're at it}. [Train train train that's all it is with you]. {Better to do that than be dead}. He had a point but for now, I just relax and enjoy my relaxed feeling.
