Waking up the next morning feeling refreshed I jump out of my bed. {Your energetic today}. [Why wouldn't I be today I get to wander around the city]. {Haven't you don't that before}? [But not this city]. {You do realize that ninety percent of cities have the exact same features right and this is smaller than most}. [YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND ME].
As I argue with Max over very important matters I hear the door open. "Seems like your up already". Conan greets me from the door. [Hey Conan what's up]. "Well, I wanted to ask you if you would like a little tour of the pack". [Of course].
Conan leads me out the door. It's still early morning so the sun hasn't quite risen all the way. Street vendors rush to get their shops prepared on time. [Wow...]. I look around with wide eyes seeing the different races of monsters around.
"I see you're excited". [Is that even a question or a really obvious statement]? He only snickers to himself. "Well before the shops open, let me show you the barracks where we train soldiers and adventurers.
We walk into a building with a large open area inside. The floor was paved with dirt as the clashes of swords could be heard from all over the place. Soldiers and what I assume are wanna be adventurers participate in mock fights to hone their skills.
[Oh sweet this place looks like a good training spot]. "Yep, the only problem is all the wounded". I look to where he points to see a lot of injured Lycanthropes as well as a few other monsters who were participating. [I see well it's a good lesson for them if they can't handle the pain]. Conan nods in agreement.
I could heal them but I won't it would be dangerous to think that somebody will come along to heal them when they need it. [So what's next]? "Oh your going to like this one". He leads me over to an area with a lot of training dummies. Many different creatures try out their skills against them.
"Even if we can't level up to acquire skill we can hone ours so we can survive". While most used Claw and bite arts I see a few that use some weapon arts. [Anything else in store]? "Well, the markets should be open by now want to check them out"? [HELL YEAH]!
As we walk out I notice Kan fighting two opponents at once. She quickly knocks both of them down though. [Hey it's Kan]. "Ahh yes, she always gets up early to train It's best to avoid her right now". [Speaking from experience I see]. "You don't even know". Conan lets out a light sigh as we continue to make our way to the market square.
We walk around checking out the different shops. I still need to save some money so I don't get anything but I notice some high-quality hides. We walk and talk for a good thirty minutes before we decide to stop.
"Alright now onto my last and favorite place". [The buffet]? "That's right the hi- OF COURSE NOT THE BUFFET"! I laugh to myself at his outburst. "It's the hill overlooking the pack dumbass".
I follow him up the hill. On top of the hill is a lone tree that overlooks the entire village. It was a large tree to I'm not an expert but I'd say this tree is a great oak.
[Whoa, what a view]. I just stare at the surroundings enjoying the view. "Well, I did say this was my favorite spot theirs a reason for it".
Noon was approaching as the sun hit its peak. "Want to go get some lunch"? [Hell yeah]! I enthusiastically reply to Conan as we start making our way down to the town. "This place is known for its meat, let's head to the wild boar for some food". [Sounds like a plan].
We walk inside and get seated Immediately. "So what do you feel like eating"? [What do you recommend I order]? "Anything but the boar trust me it's the worst thing they serve". [Okay...].
The Lycanthrope waitress comes up to our table. I order some lake fish while Conan orders some venison.
[Time to dog in]. Drool hangs from my mouth as I stare at the steak that lies in front of me. I start eating like a famished wolf. I'm not usually a fish person but this was surprisingly good.
"Pfff and I thought Kan was a messy eater but clearly she has nothing on you". [You better stuff it or your head will be stuck in the floor soon]. I threaten him but I still eat as much as I can get my scaley hands on.
"He-hey Conan". A male Lycanthrope runs up to the table were at. "Oh hey their Dex what's wrong". Conan looks at the out of breath Lycanthrope with a concerned expression. "Th-their back demanding a toll".
