Chapter 18 - Little Pudding Is Sick (1)

Early in the morning, Zuo Ning who had finished his morning run quickly finished his breakfast. Unlike usual, after Lu Chenghe wiped his paws and mouth, he didn't put aside the tablet and prepare to take a nap. Instead, he cleverly sat on the sofa and looked at the stairs.

When Lu Chenghe changed into a casual outfit and came down, he quickly stood up and squatted on the back of the sofa and watched him as he wagged his tail.

Lu Chenghe took the dog tag in the steward's hand and put it on Little Pudding, also tying a leash to him.

Zuo Ning, who was usually relaxed, only felt that he was not accustomed to the feeling of being bound by something and couldn't help but shake his fur. Lu Chenghe probably also knew that he wouldn't be used to being bound by a leash as it was his first time, so he picked him up and continuously appeased him: "It's okay, stop moving. You'll be used to it in a little while."

They waited for the maid to put some of the things Little Pudding would likely use into the trunk of the car and also put the cushion that he usually liked to lie on onto the back seat. Only after that was Little Pudding carried into the car.

Zuo Ning, who was going out for the first time since turning into a dog, excitedly looked out from the window. However, Lu Chenghe was probably afraid that he would jump out the window and shut all of the windows. It was a pity that it was during this comfortable season, he couldn't even feel the wind if he wanted to.

On the way, Lu Chenghe didn't really talk much and unlike last night, he wasn't continuously giving warnings making Zuo Ning not know where he was taking him to play today. Thus, he looked out the window for a while and would run over to rub against Lu Chenghe's body every once in a while.

This made Lu Chenghe couldn't help but hold his tail and drag him over into his arms: "Do you have ADHD? You can't even stay idle for a moment." At home, he wasn't this much of a disturbance. Was it the excitement of going out?

Zuo Ning turned around and stuffed himself firmly into Lu Chenghe's embrace. Burying his head in his neck and rubbing against his chin: "Awoo~" This was the first time he was brought out to play. Of course he's happy!

The person driving for Lu Chenghe who was probably an old man laughed when he saw the situation on the back seat from the rearview mirror and said: "Last time when the madam brought it back, it was also me who was driving. At that time, the tiny little ball in her arms would whimper. I didn't think that it would grow up so fast and be this sticky."

Lu Chenghe held the fleshy pads and kneaded them while also sighing a bit: "Indeed, he grows so fast."

The driver smiled and didn't talk anymore. He knew that Mister was not a very talkative person and speaking more would inevitably seem noisy. The car was quiet again. Maybe it was his biological clock again as Zuo Ning, who napped at this time almost every day, was gradually unable to withstand his sleepiness. In the end, the entire dog was lying on his back on top of Lu Chenghe's leg with an incomparably distorted sleeping posture.

Lu Chenghe took out his phone and took quite a lot of photos of him. Afterwards, he looked at the pictures he'd taken before and when comparing them, he found that he'd really grown up a lot. It seemed that a short time ago, he was still a milky dumpling, but now he'd already become a handsome dumpling.

Zuo Ning was woken up by a noisy voice. In a blink of an eye, he found that he was left alone in the car. Seeing that the car doors were all open, he hurriedly got up at once and jumped out of the car. Fortunately, when he came out of the car, he saw Lu Chenghe who was taking things out of the trunk. He hastily ran over and hugged his leg: "Woof woof!" Scared him to death, he thought that he'd been abandoned.

"Aiyo, old Lu, when did you start raising a dog? Unexpectedly, there are actually pets that aren't afraid of you."

Zuo Ning heard the teasing voice and turned his head to see a very sloppy man holding a woman who looked completely fresh and pure in his arms and standing not far away. After Lu Chenghe took out Little Pudding's food bowl and water bottle from the trunk, he turned a deaf ear to that man's words. Picking up and pulling on the leash, he left without turning his head back.

That person still followed from behind and stood beside the woman as he continued to tease: "That's my family's old Lu. Since he was a child, he simply didn't receive affection from cats or dogs so I'd thought that he detested cats and dogs. I really didn't think that the world could change this fast, even old Lu started to raise a pet."

The one speaking was Lu Chenghe's childhood friend Nie Yong. He looked sly with a brush cut, and when walking, it seemed like he'd never be able to stand straight. Whenever he talked to people, he especially liked to raise his chin and look down on others. Aside from his facial features being upright, no strong point of his could be seen from head to toe.

Nie Yong's voice hadn't fallen yet when another person followed from behind. She swept her eyes over the woman held by Nie Yong and then turned her attention toward Nie Yong: "What are you harping about? I could hear your voice from far away."

Nie Yong gave a mouthful to the woman in front of him: "Old Lu has only just arrived and he's leading a dog around. Doesn't this feel strange?" After speaking, he glanced at the woman by his side and smiled: "My girlfriend, Xue Lu. Calling her Little Lu is fine."

Shen Tao nodded toward the girl and quickly walked toward the courtyard two steps at a time.
