Chapter 20 - Little Pudding Grows Adult Teeth (1)

Zuo Ning, who was back home, was thrown into the bathtub by Lu Chenghe. His body size didn't count as big at the moment so there was no need for a specialized bathing machine. Though Lu Chenghe had also purchased one of those, after watching the entire process of bathing the two German shepherds, Lu Chenghe decided not to use that for Little Pudding.

Throwing him into a box, closing it, and washing him. When watching, even he felt that it was a little scary, let alone a dog that was originally relatively susceptible to feeling insecure. However, the subsequent dryer machine was nevertheless quite practical. Otherwise, it was easy to catch a cold using a hair dryer to blow air little by little.

Tossing him from side to side for over an hour, he looked at the dog which had been washed to be very clean. Lu Chenghe felt very successful and directly threw him onto the bed. After getting used to sleeping together, he found that having a little thing accompany him as he read books before sleeping felt very good.

Zuo Ning knew that he could get onto the bed today and was very happy to occupy half of the bed. Afterwards, he lied down on the sofa and watched as Lu Chenghe found a new TV episode for him.

He'd already finished watching the previous TV series with the boyfriend of the Lu family's eldest brother, and now, he's watching a large-scale Xuanhuan romance series. The devil kingdom's little princess fell in love with the not yet awakened demigod male lead. The white moonlight [1] in the male lead's heart was Xuan Nü [2] and there was a three-person 'you love me, but I don't love you'. Though the plot was old-fashioned, that was no matter compared to good looks, ah! The several fairies looked so beautiful.

However, watching it made him feel like something was wrong with his stomach. The rumbling gave a type of feeling that was like having diarrhoea. Before he'd gotten up from the bed, tearing pain attacked his stomach. Zuo Ning's whole body was twisted as he laid on the bed, his sharp nails subconsciously extended to scratch the quilt.

Having finished taking his shower, Lu Chenghe saw Little Pudding curled up into a ball on the bed. After finding it quite funny, he stroked his fur: "Did you play until you got tired? It's this early and you're sleepy?"

Zuo Ning wanted to stick out a paw and catch Lu Chenghe's hand, but the sharp pain in his stomach made him unable to raise it. He could only pitifully look at him and weakly say: "Ying ying ying." My stomach really hurts, I'm going to die.

Looking at Little Pudding whose expression looked different than usual, Lu Chenghe's smiling expression immediately faded and he slightly frowned as he said: "What's wrong?"

Seeing that Lu Chenghe had finally taken note of his own peculiarity, Zuo Ning subconsciously let out a sigh of relief. He rolled himself up, wishing to alleviate his pain: "Wu wu wu…" It hurts, it hurts, it hurts.

Zuo Ning definitely wasn't a person who couldn't tolerate pain. He didn't know whether it was because his body has changed or if because a dog's illness was originally more serious than a human's, but in any case, it hurt and he didn't want this.

Lu Chenghe saw tears in his eyes and reached out to gently rub the side of his curled body. As a result, Little Pudding trembled as soon as he touched him and he immediately had the steward call the veterinarian over. Worried that he would be cold, he gently covered him with a quilt. Both distressed and angry, he said: "I let you be gluttonous and now you're suffering, right?"

In the evening, they ate barbeque so, in order to take care of the dog, Lou Jiu specially had people roast several skewers of meat without any seasoning or marinade. Usually, the things Little Pudding ate were all measured. Lu Chenghe had originally thought that only giving him a few pieces would be enough as if it wasn't full, it was fine to eat again after getting back home. It might have been because the fragrance was too strong as after eating a few pieces of meat, Little Pudding was continuously noisy, begging to eat. Lu Chenghe couldn't help but feed him a few more mouthfuls, but he was afraid that he would get sick because of those pieces of meat.

Zuo Ning felt like screaming because of the pain. His claws had already come out several times and the quilt had already been scratched into slivers by him. Seeing Lu Chenghe comforting him from the side, he was unable to say how he felt wronged or where it hurt. He whined and simply wanted to cry. Suddenly, his stomach cramped and before Zuo Ning had the time to get up, his mouth opened and he vomited.

Seeing this, Lu Chenghe knew that this situation might be a bit serious. He threw the quilt that Little Pudding threw up on onto the ground and took out a very thick blanket as a cushion for him. However, letting him foolishly stay on the bed was to avoid catching a cold on top of his illness.

Wen Ting came quickly after receiving the phone call and the steward took him to the room with a calm face. He'd thought that Little Pudding's illness couldn't be that serious. As soon as he entered the room, he saw Lu Chenghe sitting on the bed with a solid cold expression who was caressing Little Pudding who'd been rolled up into a ball and was slightly shivering at the time. He immediately put his medical kit down and stepped forward.

Lu Chenghe roughly described today's events, but he was very careful when speaking about his food and drinks, even feeding Little Pudding a chunk of meat in the evening was said very clearly. Wen Ting nodded and reached his hand out to touch Little Pudding's abdomen. He slightly exerted some pressure and pressed on it. Right away, he heard the little guy scream.

Lu Chenghe's complexion became increasingly gloomy, and he watched the veterinarian's actions attentively.
