Amiesia looked uncomfortable to Klaus and his men, almost like she was hiding something, her clothes were torn and she had some blood, the bottom half of the dress was ripped, dirtied and had bits of fur on it. The atmosphere was tense, as everyone had just felt like they were being watched. The bright sky was blue like a sapphire and accompanied by the gem that is the sun. if one looked up you would see a sky full of life, birds of all different species flying around dipping between the fluffy clouds in the expansive sky.
"Milady are you okay? I can't help but notice that you look uncomfortable. Where have you been, I and my men have been searching for you" Klaus's voice was full of concern for Amiesia.
"I'm fine Klaus, as you can tell that monster over there killed all these poor men, I would be dead too if it weren't for..." she said this last part quietly while thinking of Rian.
"I'm sorry milady, what did you say then, it was hard to hear. Oh, your father would like to see you soon to make sure you are okay." Rather than trying to understand what she said, he decided it was best to change the topic.
"Milady, please prepare for the journey back to the Duke's manor, he will be pleased to see that you are safe...." as he was about to finish he noticed that something was watching them from the darkness of the forest. " Lady Amiesia please be careful, there is something here... please stay behind me." there was an imposing presence in the dark, something was watching them. Something very powerful.
"Milady, what are you doing? Do you not feel this intense presence? Milady..."
"It's fine Klaus, I guess I should explain to you. You see, I was saved by a very strong person, and... well he has been looking after me" her face turned to beat red in a split second as she remembered the young man she saw transform into the creature that protected her."He's someone I want you to not feel threatened by play Klaus?" Klaus nodded slowly in response but never put down his guard, he wasn't the captain of the guards for no reason after all. Amiesia "Come on out Rian, it's okay I know them, you can trust Klaus." As she finished speaking a deep, dreadful voice spoke back from the dark forest behind Amiesia " You trust them, I don't, especially the one with the fancy sword... but I have to trust you" and with that, a spectacular image developed in front of the guards. A grand beast the size of two men and fur so black, light does not escape it and eyes so red a man would quickly tremble with fear. " What the f#ck is that?" "Captain we need to group the young lady and escape that thing is dangerous" "This is how I die huh? In a bloody forest killed by a wolf monster," the other guards were terrified, nobody had seen anything like it before, and nobody who saw would survive it. The monster edged closer and closer tongue large party, the beast was so terrifying that even Klaus was afraid, the only person not scared of Rian was Amiesia as she understood what type of person he was.
" Do not worry, Rian won't hurt you unless you attack him, and even then he wouldn't want to. Please do understand that he saved my life and if wanted to do be harm I would already be dead. Klaus, please don't do anything that would cause him harm. He is not a bad person" She began to beg the guards not to do anything but they were already getting into position to attack
"I'm sorry, but that thing is no person... it's a monster and must be destroyed. Milady please stay run out of the forest and inform your Father, he must know of this. We will hold him off while you flee when we see the opportunity to run we will." while focusing on Rian Klaus failed to see the tears on Amiesia's face as she cried silently, " No, I will not allow this, you will not fight!"
"Milady?" Klaus was confused by Amiesia's behaviour, she was staring at Klaus with anger and frustration. "They attack me I will fight back" the deep voice of the monster intruded the atmosphere and sent the guards into a defensive position in front of Amiesia.
"No!!!" she screamed as two men went to swing at the gigantic beast that stood before all of them, a sudden blast of hot air sent the two men flying. Behind Amiesia red hair were on fire, no, it had turned into fire and her once blue eyes turned a bright shade of yellow illuminating her face.
"Amiesia? what is that?" instead of Klaus asking the great black beast spoke? "How did you do that?"
"I'm a Nobel Rian, I'm the daughter of the duke, a Fireborn. My family have the gift of magika. We are fire born, our ancestors have gifted this power from the 7 creators. I understand that you are confused right now but I need you to know that I don't let any harm come to you." Amiesia glowed with a radiant like and was enveloped in flames but only one question remained in Rian's mind "Why didn't she used this last night when she was attacked?"
" I do not understand."
"I will explain later but right now I need everyone to give me their word that they will not fight!" looking at Klaus and his men.
"Milady, why have you released the seal on your power? Even you must know that this creature will not be allowed to exist."
"Then we will wait till he returns to his true form." Amiesia smiled with these words before turning to Rian once more." Come with me, Rian I would like you to meet my father, I'm sure he would appreciate seeing the person that slavery life." Rian simply looked into the forest and what can only be described as a sigh. " My family are waiting for me. I must return to them."
"Where do they live I am certain that we will be able to see them." She was not going to give up on not taking her crus... saviour to her father. " I would very much like you to come with me." at this point she was no longer ablaze but back to her original, gentle look. "Please Rian" she began giving him puppy dog eyes pressuring him into accompanying her." I need you"
"Okay then... but you promise we will see my family, yes?"
"Of course Rian, why wouldn't we" her face went beat red. "Klaus, there will be no attacking Rian at all, he is my saviour and so will be treated well, this is an order, is that understood." almost in unison, all of the guards answered, " yes milady!"
"Amiesia... I don't know... how to control the change... I can't see my family...if I look like this."
"That's okay Rian, I can help you, true I do not know anything about this but I can at least try to help you."
"Thank you" and so the beast looked at Amiesia and knelt on one knee and signalled for her to get on his back. " it will... take a long time... to get to my town... but I doubt that... I will go back to normal... before then."
"Okay, then let's hope you transform back soon." Klaus was puzzled by this but decided not to question it as he would be able to at a later date when he returns with Amiesia.
"We should probably be on our way now, we should not let your Father keep waiting for the news of your well being... You will have to stay out of view, we don't want the whole world knowing about a woman or whatever it is that you are." Klaus indicated to the forest "stay close by, and do not reveal yourself until, as Milady stated you, 'change back'. Is that okay?"
Instead of a reply as he had expected Klaus got a simple grunt in return along with a nod. The daylight was creeping away while the mismatched group of nervous men, a young beautiful girl and a large imposing monster began to exist the clearing and head back to civilization. The forest was dark and vast but even then if you knew it well enough you could exit within a few hours. And under the guidance of Rian, the group found the entrance to the open country. The daylight bleeding into the night and the sun fading behind the mountains caused the forest to be enveloped by darkness. The creatures of the night began howling along with whispers.
