Ivy held her cheek as she stared in disbelief at Ruby. She then noticed something strange; Ruby's image flickered slightly, barely noticeable for any normal eyes. Ivy closed her eyes before releasing a surge of Mana, knocking back all the Guardians. Ivy could feel her emotions slowly driving her to the peak of breaking. She noticed that Ruby's image was never here in the first place.
Ivy stared at all the Guardians before grabbing Shiro and Wrath by their hair. Her aura started to increase, which dropped the already cold temperature to below freezing. She was close to her frenzy than Ivy expected before saying a few things.
"How long was the illusion?"
"T-The moment you enter!" Shiro shouted, feeling her hair being pulled is not very pleasant. She tried to squirm her way out of Ivy's grip, but it felt like everything was slowly choking her.
"Why did you do this?"
"So we could help you with your Semblance, along with a few other things," Blake said before breaking out in a cold sweat when Ivy snapped her gaze onto him. It was like a wolf in sheep's clothing, cuddly at first but a dangerous beast inside.
Ivy felt her eyes starting to twitch. She released Shiro and Wrath before walking up to Blake and pointing a finger at him. "So, even though you heard my past team, you still decide to see me as a wildcard and even deceive me. This is why I don't like teams."
After her words, Ivy stormed out of the office, slamming the door, which left cracks in the wall. She made sure she was out of their detection sensors before collapsing to the ground and panting. She never once held back on her emotions, so it the first time for her to suppress such a large amount. Ivy took multiple deep breathes before heading back to the dorm and waited.
Wrath stared at Blake was a blank expression. She didn't like the idea of manipulating Ivy, especially since she was trying her best to control her emotions. Blake sighed before typing the possible ideas of Ivy's Semblance. He hasn't seen a person with the power to manipulate time, and in fact, it was terrifying to imagine.
Shiro fixed her hair before replaying the illusion out in front. She wanted to know what caused Ivy to suddenly teleport along with those glowing eyes. She made sure that Ivy couldn't move and couldn't use Mana, so how the hell was the girl able to dodge the dagger?
Blake placed a hand on Shiro's shoulder before shaking his head. "We may have lost a strong member already. If we can't apologize or control her to prevent any catastrophic damage. Ruby gave us the opportunity to add Ivy, now it's our turn to convince her."
Shiro sighed. She hated how Blake was right. If it was any other person, they wouldn't have to go to great length just to convince them. However, Ivy never heard of the Six Guardians, let alone trust them anymore.

Ivy walked into her dorm before slumping into her bed. Rose and the others looked at Ivy before Neo shook her head. Rose tilted her head before Neo motioned towards her. She got up and sat next to Neo before the girl whispered something in her ears.
Rose was surprised at first before nodding and keeping Neo's words in mind. She went over York and Eden to say the same thing. Neo went over to Ivy only to feel an incredible decrease in heat. She was used to Ivy being cold, but she never expected Ivy to have gone down this low.
"Stupid fucking Guardians...so fucking stupid," Ivy muttered before burying her face in her pillow. Neo sighed before petting Ivy slowly. They both enjoy being petted so they would sometimes pat each other whenever the other is down.
Neo leaned down and whispered, "I was waiting for you in the equipment room. I was hoping we could do something a bit fun before leaving, but it seems I won't be able to get that."
Ivy groaned and pulled the covers over her. She didn't want to hear anything at the moment. Ivy closed her eyes and waited until she was needed.
Seeing Ivy's conflicted body, Neo sighed before letting Ivy rest. The others knew that Neo and Ivy had a profound connection to each other. Whether it's romance or not.
--------------------------------------------------
After two hours, Rose woke Ivy up and told her to get ready. It was time for their mission to go. Ivy groaned before getting out and grabbing her stuff. Rose watched as Ivy's movement seemed sluggish. She sighed before waiting for her.
Ivy appreciated Rose's kindness, but at the moment, she needed some time to be alone. She grabbed her stuff before the two headed toward their launchpad.
There were a lot of students moving around and a lot of helicopters taking off. Ivy stood behind her team as she could feel a lot of people staring at her. She ignored the stares as she walked up to their respected helicopter. Their chaperone was Scarlet.
They all sat down as Scarlet banged against the metal interior to signal their lift-off. The sudden force of lifting made Ivy's senses climb before suppressing it. Neo took a few quick glances at Ivy, nothing seemed out of the ordinary; however, Ivy's eyes would twitch every now and then.
Scarlet sat down before explaining the team's mission, "We're going to an abandoned city that was under construction. We assumed that monsters started to attack, however, when troops arrived at the place. It was a complete ghost town. Not a single body was found."
"So we have to figure out how they escape," Ruby said.
"Or how they were able to get rid of their bodies so fast," Eden chimed in. Everyone looked at Eden with a weird expression, but they understood where he was coming from. Except for one thing.
"How did they clean all of the blood? If these killers killed a possible civilization, how did they clean all of the blood without a single trace?" Neo said in a low voice. She looked out the open door and saw many buildings not even close to being finished.
Ivy had her eyes close for the majority of the ride; however, she did hear the conversation. She agreed with the theories the others were thinking of, but she felt like there was more to Rose's idea. Ivy listened to the helicopter slowly descend as Scarlet alerted everyone that their LZ may get a bit toasty.
Everyone grabbed their weapon while Neo nudged Ivy. Neo was concerned since she rarely sees Ivy in such a foul mood. Ivy pushed away Neo's hand in a gentle manner. She smiled at Neo before getting up, she helped Neo up before the team was ready for whatever came to them.
Scarlet noted Ivy's behavior towards Neo. The team dropped out of the helicopter to secure the LZ. Scarlet waited for the signal from Rose before banging against the aircraft. She was impressed at how quick the team responded to actions and their cohesion.
Scarlet stepped out of the aircraft before observing their surrounding. She nodded before noticing Neo sniffing around. ("A werewolf? Or maybe she just has a good sense of smell.")
"There's a really foul smell here. Like a leakage of sewage and oil," Neo said as she covered her sensitive nose. Ivy sniffed before covering her nose.
Rose nodded before having her scythe transform into a sniper and used the scope to see any anomaly. She lowered her gun and shook her head. "Nothing I can see where we are. Maybe if we can get to a high point, I could try to find the source."
Scarlet held her hand up, "It's alright, might be some leftover supplies. First, let's scout out the area before we camp out."
Everyone nodded as they each took a street to scout out. They went out as groups of two: York and Neo, Eden and Rose, Scarlet, and Ivy. Ivy felt a bit uneasy with Scarlet, but she didn't voice out her nerves.
"We meet back here at 1800," Scarlet said before each team moved to their respected street. It was the first time Rose's team was split, she wasn't worried about York and Neo but Ivy and Scarlet. Something about that combo felt really, really bad.
