In the Underworld, at Grigori's headquarters-
"Die!!"
Floating in the air, Vali's expression was icy cold.
Vali looked a little different than usual. He had three pairs of jet-black devil wings spread out behind him, and the fluctuations of his magic power were terrifying to the extreme.
In the airspace surrounding Vali, nearly a hundred immensely massive Magic Arrays unfolded.
The brilliance of all the magic arrays was dazzling, and then they unleashed wildly raging flames, thunder, and lightning as if to destroy everything as they rushed toward the ground where 666 (Trihexa) was located!
With a series of earth-shattering explosions, 666 (Trihexa) let out a painful wail, his entire body charred and blurred, before crashing to the ground with a resounding boom.
His magical power nearly exhausted, Vali landed on the ground with a pale complexion.
Once again, the Underworld was attacked by 666 (Trihexa), and this time, the attack was two-pronged. One head attacked the Demon King's capital, Vali Lucifer, while the other head attacked Grigori's headquarters.
The head attacking Vali Lucifer was resisted by Demon Kings such as Sirzechs, while the one attacking Grigori was resisted by Grigori leaders and Vali's team.
Although the one who attacked Grigori was only a clone of 666 (Trihexa), and even weaker than the one Tenraku and the others faced in the human world, it was still 666 (Trihexa). Even a clone of it was far beyond what ordinary people could handle.
The entire Grigori headquarters was flattened, with current Governor General Shemhazai losing an arm and Vice Governor General Baraqiel critically wounded. With the exception of Azazel, who was slightly better off, the other Grigori leaders were seriously injured or dead.
Of course, Vali's team didn't fare much better. The God-created war machine, the giant Gogmagog, had been reduced to a pile of scrap metal, and it remained to be seen if it could be repaired.
Bikou and Arthur Pendragon suffered varying degrees of injury, but they could still move, if only barely. Fenrir, the legendary ferocious wolf, looked particularly miserable, lying on the ground covered in blood and panting as if on the verge of death.
In the fierce battle, both Grigori and Vali's team were pushed to the brink. At a critical moment, Vali fully awakened the bloodline of Lucifer, raising his power to the level of a transcender, which finally allowed them to strike back at 666 (Trihexa).
But that was as far as they could go...
"Hey hey, is this a joke? Will this monster never die?!"
Seeing 666 (Trihexa) quickly recovering from his injuries on the ground, Bikou on his cloud couldn't help but scream in shock.
They were almost at the end of their tether, and another round of attacks would mean certain death!
"With our strength, it's impossible to eliminate 666 (Trihexa), but reaching this level is enough."
"The barrier is complete. Finally, we can send this monster to its proper prison."
Azazel's voice rang out as he slowly floated into the air.
And as Azazel's words fell, a huge magical field suddenly unfolded beneath 666 (Trihexa)'s feet. The Magic Array glowed brightly, then erupted into a dazzling pillar of light that shot straight into the sky, tearing a massive crack in the purple sky.
Just as Tenraku and the others had experienced, a tremendous suction force emanated from the crack, trapping the screaming 666 (Trihexa) as it continued to rise, threatening to swallow him whole.
"Azazel, are you going in too?"
Shemhazai and Baraqiel struggled to their feet, looking at Azazel in a complicated way.
"Ah, I have no choice."
"Sorry, but I have to leave this mess for you to clean up. The future of the Grigori can only be entrusted to you."
Azazel said with a sigh, and his body rose along with 666 (Trihexa)'s ascension.
The atmosphere fell silent for a moment, and even these iron-hearted men couldn't help but feel a little sentimental at this moment.
"Hey, Azazel, what's going on? Where are you going?!"
Finally realizing that something was wrong, Vali propped himself up and yelled.
"In fact, we've used the research technology of various great powers to create a separate space called the 'Isolation Barrier Domain' as a special prison for sealing 666 (Trihexa). After all, it's practically impossible for us to destroy such a monster with our strength, so the leaders of the various great powers have only planned to seal it from the beginning."
"The 'Isolation Barrier Domain' is extremely strong, but it's not absolute. By sending 666 (Trihexa) inside, one day it will break out from within since it's the kind of monster that defies convention and logic. Therefore, in order to prevent such a situation, the leaders of various major powers decided to enter the Isolation Barrier Domain together to contain it."
"As you can see, I represent the Grigori in this matter."
Azazel spoke casually, but Vali's expression showed shock and anger.
"Why didn't you tell me about this before?"
"Hey hey, don't be angry, don't be angry. If I had told you earlier, you would have definitely tried to stop me, right?"
"We don't have much time left, so let's talk about something else."
"Um, well, Vali..."
"After all, I've never really had a child of my own. But if anyone could be considered my child, it would probably be you."
"To be honest, when you ran off to join the Khaos Brigade, I was quite devastated. I even wondered if it was my fault for the way I raised you. When you were defeated by that boy Tenraku and your Sacred Gear was taken from you, I was worried about you, worried that you would never recover from that blow.
"But the results showed that you were even stronger than I imagined. Not only did you not falter, but you awakened your true power and found a reliable group of comrades. In retrospect, perhaps it was a good thing that you lost your Sacred Gear and joined the Khaos Brigade. Maybe."
"I'm actually quite proud of you. I'm glad to be fighting alongside you this time."
"No, perhaps 'grateful' is a more appropriate word."
"Stop it! Azazel. I don't want to hear that! I don't want to hear those things!"
Knowing Azazel very well, Vali understood that he was the kind of man who would never say such things under normal circumstances. The more he talked like that, the more uncomfortable Vali felt, as if his whole being was filled with discomfort.
With the intention of catching up to Azazel, but with his magic power depleted, Vali found it difficult to even fly.
"I'm sorry I said so many sentimental things. I suppose you're quite disturbed by it."
"But this is the last time. Let me be wilful just this once."
"Vali, you've surpassed your bastard father, your bastard grandfather, and even the previous Demon King, Vali Lucifer. Live on as the new 'Star of the Morning.'"
"So, goodbye."
Waving to everyone below, Azazel and 666 (Trihexa) disappeared into the rift in the sky. Shemhazai, Baraqiel, and the others sighed as Vali shouted to the sky:
"Azazel!!!"
Meanwhile, on the other side, a similar scene was also being played out.
"Ajuka, I entrust you with the future of the Underworld."
Sirzechs, Falbium, and Serafall, along with their respective peerages, rose into the air, enveloped in light, while Sirzechs spoke to Ajuka below.
"Ah, farewell, my dear friends."
Ajuka on the ground nodded with a complicated expression on his face.
"Falbium, Serafall, have you both said goodbye to your loved ones?"
Sirzechs asked Falbium and Serafall, who stood nearby.
"I never had anyone like that to begin with, and my work is already delegated."
Falbium smiled slightly, but Serafall's expression was melancholy and sad:
"I hesitated until the end and didn't say anything. If Sona-Chan knew, she would definitely cry and even try to stop me from leaving. I don't want to see Sona-Chan cry."
Just the thought of never seeing Sona-Chan again filled Serafall with sadness.
But while her mind was occupied with thoughts of Sona-Chan, another figure appeared in Serafall's mind.
Startled, Serafall quickly shook her head to banish the hateful figure from her mind.
Why was she thinking about that despicable Sex Dragon Emperor now?
She definitely wasn't going to miss him, she was just happy that she wouldn't have to see that despicable guy anymore.
Yes, that's right!
However, Serafall suddenly remembered something else.
That despicable Sex Dragon Emperor had left a "Seed of Desire" in her body. Every month, she had to be molested by him once, or else...
Realizing this terrible problem, Serafall couldn't help but turn pale, but before she could stop moving, the group had already completely disappeared into the crack in the sky...
To be continued...
