Alicia
Friday, 8:00 PM
While cooking dinner, my father stands at the table and gives me a solemn look, holding up the post of me and Simon. "Disneyland? You lied to me." He says with a very angry tone. The neighbors have no problem with hearing us as we live at a gated community called Monterey hills homes
"I never told you anything in the first place so technically I didn't lie." I say, not looking up at him.
"I am so disappointed, Ali." He says.
"Mom would've wanted me to be happy instead of mourning for six years like you-"
"No, Jenny isn't here anymore. She's dead! She would've been so disappointed in you as well." I slam a hand on the counter. "Enough!" I yell. I quickly turn off the stove and leave the house, slamming the door.
. . .
I walked for 19 minutes and see and abandoned studio. It isn't dirty, but I see a light inside it. The streets quiet and empty... "Now what's a pretty girl like you doing in the dark side of town?" Said Simon, walking towards me as I look behind me. I smile and look down. "Come with me." He holds out a hand. I take his hand and we walk towards the abandoned studio. I had forgotten this studio used to be Willow Studios. "Make yourself at home. Over there is Bonnie, to your left is Felice, Leo, and Poet, then to your right is Jerry, Beck, and Chris." He introduces. The source of light was a lighted trash can. "Why did you make this gang anyway? It's not like you guys even do drugs." I ask.
"Well, not everyone has a family. Felice ran away from her parents, Beck and Bonnies parents died and they live in a foster home, and most of the same happened to everyone else." He explains.
"You know," I grab his hand "No matter how bad you want to be, you aren't so bad."
"For such a good girl like you, you're pretty badass." He says. I look down at my lap then up at him again, and before I know it my lips are touching Simons.
Elaine
Friday, 8:00 PM
I go to Rylands house to "drop something off". "Elaine?" Ryland says.
"Hey, I need to drop off something." I say.
"For Alicia?"
"No, actually... For you." I say, quickly kissing him. I know right now I seem like a horrible best friend, but I'm just taking back what was stolen from me.
"Elaine... You realize I'm with Alicia, my girlfriend and your best friend, right?"
"Yeah, but you didn't pull away did you?" I grin.
"I-" He says nothing else. I take my leave and drive home with my white Lexis.
