Arianna Contos' POV
I was mingling around when I saw that Lyana was moving inside the castle and there was a stranger that followed her. He was one of the 4 guys that were talking together. I guessed they were friends before I was making my way to find what belonged to Greece.
It was nothing really, just a gem that belonged to a monarch family and I have been responsible to take it back.
Not that I don't want to, it just—I would do it even without the payment.
And so, here I was, trying to locate the Citrine of Greece for its location on this massive mansion that was holding a masquerade ball right now.
I was wearing a yellow dress with a gold mask before I was slipping into the shadows like I was born from it.
And indeed I was.
I was looking at all the rooms that might be locating the precious gem before I heard someone screamed and grunted. I rolled my eyes as I was shaking my head.
"Get a room," I mumbled before I was moving to a room that has so many glass cases and there was glistening in the air.
Bingo!
It was the gem collection room. I don't know whose idea it was to put these gems out and my kleptomaniac was itching me to get it. I think I might take it all until my eyes were looking at one gem in particular.
The Citrine of Greece.
I was smiling like an idiot before I was looking around the room. There was no sensor motion and no detection if I was to hold the glass case and took it—
"Stop right there, you thief!" Someone was shouting at the end of the hall before I was looking at the stranger that was standing tall at the door. If I have to be honest, he was hot and handsome. But the most striking of his feature was his eyes.
They were silver, like mercury.
I was looking at it before I blinked a few times and I was smirking at him. He stepped forward before I was edging my way to the window.
"And why should I listen to you, handsome?" I asked him as his jaws clenched. It seems that he was not happy to hear that.
"Don't call me that," he said as he was looking at me before I was tilting my eyes before I was batting my eyelashes at him.
As if he could see it!
"Why? Are you heartbroken that someone dumped you for something better than you? Don't worry, I will never forget a handsome face like yours. But of course, I could not stay. You know, gems to steal, places to go, things to vandalize, Ciao caro!" I said before I was pushing the button to set the bomb.
The second floor exploded.
I was smirking before the castle stumbled before the stranger was looking at me as he was taking off the mask before I was looking at his face.
Black hair.
High cheekbones.
Straight, aristocratic nose.
Silver eyes like mercury.
Oh my, I think I got myself infatuated with this man right now.
I was making a flying kiss to the man before I was jumping out of the window and I was opening the glider that I have hidden underneath my costume before I was moving forward, never turn my back on the situation.
I think I just made myself known to that stranger.
Lyana Debaux's POV
"What was that?" I asked, acting as if I don't know what was happening. I was putting on my costume before I was putting the mask on again as I don't want the stranger to know who I was.
"I don't know but I will find out. Stay here, okay?" Ed said before I nodded at him. He kissed me before he was running out of the room and I was getting to the window. The breeze was chilly tonight as I was taking a deep breath.
The soreness of my muscle was there but I have to go. I need to go.
"I'm sorry, Ed. May you find me," I said before I was wiping the tear that was falling on my cheek before I was jumping out of the window and I was pulling on the glider before I was moving forward as I was looking at the yellow costume that I know.
I was gliding next to Ari before I was nodding at her. She was smiling at me and we were riding off into the night.
*~*~*~*
"Woah, I never knew that. I mean, how? I thought I never left anything behind," I said as I was looking at Edmond that was playing with my bareback. I was looking at him as he was smirking at me.
"Well, you did leave something," he said before I was arching my eyebrow at him.
"What do you mean?"
"Let just say that I have something that belongs to you and right now, you will belong to me, always and forever," Edmond said before he was kissing me again. I moaned before I was putting my leg on his thigh. He was caressing my thigh before I was breathing heavily as I was looking into his blue orbs.
The blue eyes that I have come to love from the first moment I saw him.
"So, tell me. Have you been with anyone else after that night?" he asked me before I was looking at him before I blushed.
"Well, actually, I don't. You're the first time that I have sex after 4 years," I said as I was looking at him before Edmond smirked.
"Now, that's good news that I have been waiting for. Come here you," he said before he was pulling me on top of him. I shrieked before I was putting my hands on his chest as Edmond was caressing my waistline. I laughed at his cockiness before his cock was hitting my back.
"Edmond, I thought you wanted me to be your wife before we can do this again," I said before I was looking at him. I know that my eyes were dilating as Edmond was smirking at me and leaned forward to kiss me on the lips.
"Oh no. it was not tomorrow yet so I still have time to take you as much as I want," he said as I was hitting his chest. Edmond smiled.
"You're incorrigible,"
"But you like me anyway," he said before Edmond sat up and we're claiming each other's mouth and the rest was history.
Edmond Lattone's POV
I was looking at Lyana as she was making some breakfast when I was cutting the fruits on the island. I was checking her out as I was looking up and down. I was biting my lower lips before Lyana turned and I was looking at her core covered apron.
"Hmm, mmm," Lyana cleared her throat before I was looking at her face. She was arching her eyebrow at me before I was putting the knife down and I went to her side.
"What are you looking at?"
"Nothing much. Just someone that will be my wife in less than,'' I said as I was looking at the clock.
"4 hours," I said before Lyana hit my chest. I laughed before Lyana was pulling the omelet to the island and I was taking my seat before Lyana sat on my laps.
"I believe there was another chair, love," I said as I was laughing at her behavior. Lyana was smiling smugly.
"Well, this is more comfortable and to my taste," she said as I was looking at her. She scooped some omelet and held the spoon in front of my mouth. I ate it and it was divine. I moaned.
"You're a great cook, love. I think I might earn some fat later," I said before Lyana blushed.
"I know just how to burn those fats," she mumbled and I was nuzzling her neck. We finished our breakfast before I decided to call Conall before I will be signing those marriage certificates. It rang for a bit before Conall answered.
"Hey, Reid, guess what?" I said as I was looking at Lyana who was organizing the kitchen right now. I was leaning against the island as I was holding my phone.
"Yeah, what? And don't say that you will be getting married," he replied before I laughed a bit.
"Well, not exactly but that was the road that I wanted to tell you," I said before Conall sighed.
"So, who's the lucky one?"
"Well, do you remember when I was in France after we finished our academy?" I said as I was listening to Conall while my eyes were roaming my fiancée's body right now as she was making some coffee for us.
"Yeah, so?" Conall said as I know that he was getting impatient if I don't get to the point already.
"Well, I'll be marrying that girl that I liked as I just found out that she was living in France and us just kind of hit it off and—" I said before Conall cut me off.
"Look, dude. I was happy for you but I got to go. Katrina called for me," he said and before I can say to tell his wife hi, he hung up on me.
"So I guess everything went well?" Lyana said as she handed me a mug of coffee. I thanked her.
"Yup and tonight, you will officially be my wife," I said as I was sipping on the coffee as I was looking at Lyana over the rim of my mug, a thrill was coming inside my chest.
I cannot wait for tonight.
