Pestilence the ability control pests, diseases and their carriers. Ultimate Poison the ability to control all poisons absolute. When two of the worlds greatest threats come together to create a child what is the outcome, a Plague, a Blight, the end of days but things don't always go as planned. Slaughtered and defeated the two cast their beloved son away to keep him from the Guardians, the protectors of humanity.
These are the one's who are born with the powers but have chosen to protect the people from the likes of the Cursed and Monsters and demons alike. Using martial arts and weapons of olden times they work hard towards the goal of one day banishing all evil but what if Fate turns around and puts a Plague among them.... an Absolute Plague.
Nine years after the defeat of the world's two greatest threats a boy with faded purple hair could be seen roaming the streets slowly, clearly he was emaciated and close to starvation as he walked down the center of the Market street.
Then suddenly as if a bomb went off the whole street was flooded by a noxious miasma causing those people and stall owners to faint. Walking to one of the stalls the boy took for himself a loaf of bread and began eating while the Guardians were dispatched to investigate. However out of all the sights they expected to see, a boy eating bread was not one of them.
"Child, are you the cause of this" demanded a strong looking woman whose eyes seemed to carry the stars themselves.
The child said nothing and continued eating the bread hungrily before grabbing another before walking to a tea stand and helping himself. The Guardians watched this with odd looks, had this child killed these people just to eat.
"Why did you kill these people" asked the Woman finally gaining a response from the child.
"Ssshhhh, their sleeping. I can eat while they sleep" stated the boy a poisonous mist drifting from his mouth as he spoke.
The 'sleeping' comment had taken them off guard causing them to check and it was indeed as the child had said, the people were merely knocked unconscious.
"Captain what do we do, its clear he possesses a cursed ability but he has done no harm" asked a Large man with a mace shaped like a boulder.
The woman stared at the child who was now struggling to reach for some candy from another stall and she couldn't help but find it in her to laugh surprising the others as she began walking towards the child.
Hearing the sounds of footsteps the boy saw the woman come closer causing him to back up but she merely grabbed the candy he had been reaching for before offering it to him.
"Where do you live" asked the woman with a smile.
The boy didn't answer nor did he accept the candy as he stared warily, this gave the woman a chance to inspect the child closer. Ragged clothes that were obviously too small and his emaciated form seemed to give her the answer she needed.
"Do your parents know where you are" asked the woman causing the boy to cast his eyes away as his parents had long since been slain.
"Dead" stated the boy blankly causing the Woman to nod seeing her chance.
"Do you want to come with me" asked the woman while internally she was swooning, every woman wished for a child but it was difficult to find time for love as a Guardian her friends having long since been married and starting families she was left to age while her internal clock was ticking.
The boy looked at her suspiciously and took a step backwards causing the woman to panic at the potential of losing this chance as she grabbed more candy.
"I can take care of you but only if you want come with me" said the woman softly putting on a kind smile.
This seemed to do the trick as the boy stepped forward and accepted the offered candy and the woman hugged him with a smile of victory as she picked him up looking at her comrades with a smug look. They were aware of what was going through her head and couldn't help but deadpan at her pettiness.
'Your like a bad person, tempting children with candy' was the group thought among them.
"You all handle the situation here, I got some things to take care of" smirked the woman seeming to have read their minds as she jumped onto the roofs of these ancient styled buildings.
'I can't wait to show off my own child, and a boy to boot. This will show those bitches, my boy is going to be so much better than any of their brats' smirked the woman as her internal monologue continued.
Meanwhile the child laid in her arms blankly though their could be seen a trace of comfort while he was in her grasp.
'Feels... good' thought the child as he closed his eyes.
Soon the woman had arrived at a large estate in old Japanese style design and she walked cockily while everyone who knew her were staring in shock, everyone knew about her bitter feelings for not having a child but they had never expected her to just steal one.
"Yuki, Yuki" came the call as a woman in light armor possessing a rapier came running up her face one of worry.
"Oh, Hello Eliza" called Yuki cockily while still carrying the boy.
Seeing the child Eliza felt her jaw drop as she began to berate her friend.
"Yuki, you can't just steal children because of your own shortcoming. You need to return him to his family right now" complained Eliza in a huff at her friends ridiculousness.
It was at this moment the boy opened his eyes and sent a deadly glare towards the woman causing her to fall silent.
"Yuki..... I don't think he's happy with you taking him" started Eliza a bit shaken at the hateful look from such a young child.
In response the boy spat a purple glob planting right on Eliza's forehead before holding tighter to Yuki causing said woman to smirk in victory while Eliza began to wobble dizzily alerting Yuki to what just happened.
'Oh shit' thought Yuki shaking her friend violently as she put the boy down.
"Hey, hey. What did you do to her" panicked Yuki looking to the boy in shock.
"Poisoned" smiled the boy causing Yuki to become shocked.
"Just sleeping right" asked Yuki as she was starting to feel disturbed by that smile that seemed so genuine for doing something so wrong.
"No, she will die..... she was mean to you and said for you leave me. I don't want to leave" answered the boy feeling more comfortable around Yuki because he craved her affection after the hug.
Yuki froze her entire being shook, for such a reason this boy had poisoned her friend causing a bit of anger to start showing on her face.
"You need to fix her now, she is my friend. Do it now" stated Yuki harshly causing the boy to flinch visibly but the ruckus had caused a crowd to gather and the people who were also guardians were staring the boy harshly.
Stepping forward he placed his hand on Eliza's arm and it seemed like something was being pumped back into his body as the fellow female Guardian woke up with a start before drawing her rapier on the child.
"Yuki, you brought a Cursed into our holy ground. What were you thinking" called Eliza coldly causing the boy to back away in fear.
"Eliza, I didn't know....." stated Yuki softly as she turned away from the boy causing him to truly begin feeling fear.
"You know what must be done" stated Eliza as she made to swipe at the boy but instead a Noxious mist erupted from him.
"Don't breathe it in" cried Eliza closing her eyes and covering her mouth.
Using the opportunity the boy ran, he didn't care but the entire way a noxious cloud was being released preventing his pursuit lest they fall ill to his gifts.
He continued to run unsure of where he could hide until he ran into an odd underground building that began to pour out the mist causing the inhabitants inside to run out in a panic. These were young people some even being as young as twelve, they seemed to be Guardians in training. However shortly after grown men in heavy armor ran out, they seemed to be specially tasked with guarding something inside. It didn't take long before Yuki and Eliza found him and they were both surprised at where he had ended up.
"He's in the Martial hall..." muttered Eliza as her Rapier fell to the ground and Yuki was also in a state of panic.
"That's where we have stored the copies of all the Techniques used by Guardians of the past and even the Legacy of the Guardian clans. We have to get him out of there or we will all be in trouble" continued Eliza as she looked towards Yuki.
"Your the one who tried to kill him.... this is technically your fault. He was fine until you got involved" countered Yuki however it seemed that Eliza wasn't in the mood for games.
"I am going to report this and see if we can ask for assistance to handle the situation" growled Eliza as she jumped to the rooftops.
It would come back with some fearsome information while Yuki would take a severe punishment as her rank would be dropped and she would fall from grace.
