Juda didn't know how long he had hung out with Jugo before he finally woke up, but he did know that he had a great time as he always did when his friend was around. He never knew what happened to Jugo when he wasn't there but he was told that it was simply like viewing the world through someone else's body without having the controller. Jugo saw everything Juda could and could hear as well as smell but he couldn't control the body. Even so Jugo said it wasnt that bad as he enjoyed watching Juda's daily life.
In the end Juda woke up once again, his eyes staring up at the roof of the Medical Ward. A small sigh escaped his lips as he tossed back the covers that had been placed over him. He had fallen asleep not too long after the voice had left and since he only confused himself more with all the theories he had about his unanswered questions, he simply decided to just go to sleep and spare himself the brain cells.
Juda attempted to push himself up and was surprised to find that the pain had lessened to such a degree. The pain was still there but it wasn't so bad that he couldn't move, allowing him to sit upright and throw his legs over the side of the bed.
Juda was missing his shirt and his pants, clad only in boxers and gauze. The gauze was wrapped around his upper torso and the beginning of his stomach as well as another wrapping of gauze around his upper left thigh. Laying next to the bed was Juda's shredded suit he had only bought recently along with bloodied gauze lying in the trash next to it. It was only after seeing these things that Juda realized the extent to which he had been beaten and that he should be grateful to even be breathing.
"I gotta pee," Juda said as he got off the bed and nearly collapsing onto the floor. His legs were shaking from his weight and the pain shooting up his thigh wasn't helping as he grabbed onto the bed for support. He was going to get to the bathroom one way or another.
The Medical Ward was as large as a house with two windows on the wall to the left of the bed, two doors straight ahead and another to the right. The room had 7 large beds with high-tech life sustaining equipment at the ready next to each of them. There was a desk in the corner with a bunch of papers sitting on top of it and a bunch of other things lying beneath it.
There was no nurse in the Medical Ward nor any other patients which was a bit odd but Juda shrugged it off as he began to stumble his way towards a the door on the right, hoping to get lucky. Fate however seemed to take the word lucky and twist it around as he did get lucky but not in the way he expected.
Just outside the door, Juda tripped over his own foot and stumbled forward. The door to the bathroom opened at that moment and Juda went crashing into something soft, dragging it down with him. Pain erupted from his patched up wounds as well as his legs but he shook it off as he opened his eyes to see that the person he crashed into was actually the nurse. He knew she was the nurse because she literally had on an outfit that read "Nurse" over left breast and right below it was a name tag reading Suna Tracer.
The young female looked to be around Juda's age with smooth skin, long slightly dark green hair that extended past her waist and bright green eyes. She wore a long white formfitting dress where the buttons were set to the left of her dress and only reached mid thigh. She also had on long white leggings that reached reached her lower thighs and slip on shoes.
Juda was surprised as he had expected the nurse to be older, at least a bit more mature. Sure the girl had some pretty decent breasts and some curvaceous hips but she was obviously still on the young side.
"Ummm, excuse me, could you please get off of me?" Suna asked nicely, a blush on her face. "I dont think this position is appropriate. We just met so its a bit indecent."
When they had both fallen, Juda had landed on top of her and now that he had recovered, he hovered over her while his knee was positioned in between her legs. If someone were to walk in and see the way they were now, it would look pretty bad for Juda as it could be easily misunderstood in multiple ways. So, moving as best he could Juda slowly stood up on his wobbly legs, the urge to pee having already fled.
"I'm sorry," Juda said through the throbbing pain in his leg. "I didn't mean to knock you over. You're not hurt right? Completely my fault."
Suna shook her head as she hurriedly stood up, the blush on her face disappearing as she stepped closer to Juda. "No, its my fault for leaving you unattended for so long. You shouldn't have even moved as you could've hurt yourself. Lets get you back to the bed and I'll get you something to eat."
Taking one of Juda's arms, Suna put it around her shoulder and used herself as his support to slowly bring him back to the bed. "You have to be careful. You fractured several ribs, suffered severe brain damage, lost quite a bit of blood, and even punctured a lung which SHOULD have ended your life. Its a miracle your even still breathing let alone walking. Your regeneration is something else entirely."
(Holy crap, I really WAS on the verge of death) Juda said as he watched Suna walk away towards the desk in the corner of the room. (I can only imagine the power Jugo had to expend to fix me up, even healing a punctured lung which was thought to be impossible. I literally owe him my life!!)
Suna pulled out two cans from a drawer inside the desk and opened them by pulling open the top, poured the contents into a bowl located in a drawer underneath her desk before popping it into a microwave also underneath her desk but to the far left. Suna looked over at Juda with a smile, her bright green eyes briefly glowing before returning to normal.
"So whats your name?" Suna asked curiously as she waited for the food to be done. "Are you new here? What family are you from?"
"Woahhhh," Juda said with a small smile. "Suddenly got curious there did ya? I guess its okay to tell you that I'm new here. I trust transfered here today after being homeschooled my whole life. Its my first time being in an actual school."
"Oooh, so you were homeschooled?" Suna asked excitedly. "That sounds awesome and pretty comfy. You can sleep whenever you want and eat during the lesson if you wanted to."
Juda laughed at her rather excited personality and they way her eyes were practically lit at just telling her he was homeschooled. She seemed nice enough which just went to show that not all nobles were pricks. Of course, he still had to make sure that she wasn't like the ones he met so far.
"So, how do you feel about those who live in the slums?" Juda asked nonchalantly as Suna took the bowl out of the microwave. "Whats your take on them?"
Suna picked up the spoon she had set to the side and placed it into the bowl. "People are people. Doesnt matter where you come from, which is why I dont really mind speaking to you. Your from the slums yourself and yet you seem like a decent person."
Juda tilted his head as Suna walked over with the bowl. "How can you tell I'm from the slums or even that I'm a decent person? You only just met me and I've only spoken to you a for a few minutes."
Suna took a spoonful of the soup and blew on it. "A regular noble would have tried to take advantage of me the moment we were in that position from earlier. However you chose to get off when I asked without hesitation. That and the kindness and warmth you emanate. That and your kinda the talk of the school right now."
"Emanate?" Juda asked. He would have asked what she meant when out of nowhere, Suna stuck the spoon of hot soup into his mouth without even asking. The soup had been cooled significantly but it still burned as it went down his throat.
"As a Wind Elemental User I can detect the emotional state of others as well as what their core personality trait is by focusing on the aura surrounding them." Suna smiled as she scooped up another spoon of soup. "Your whole aura was just filled with a sort of warmth and kindness that not many nobles seem to possess. Its actually the only reason I'm feeding you right now. Its a really weird feeling, like an infection but in a good way where you kindness and happiness makes others happy."
"You don't have to fe-" His protest was cut off when Suna shoved the spoon into his mouth and forced him to swallow the soup.
"Its okay, I'm a nurse," Suna said with a laugh as she watched Juda clutch his throat jokingly in mock pain. "Taking care of my patients is my job. I draw the line at going out with my patients though as so many patients try to do so don't get any ideas. I'm at your service when your in pain and thats it."
Juda was about to say something when the door to the right of the bed opened and Haruna stepped in, her usual blank stare featured on her face. With Juda's attention diverted towards Haruna, Suna managed to sneek another mouthful of soup into Juda's mouth, startling him.
"Juda Aburriah, your coming with me. As are you Suna Tracer." Haruna walked over and stood by the bed. "Do you need assistance in helping him?"
Suna merely shook her head and smiled. "Not at all. I can take him. Where are we going?"
"I was charged to keep watch over Juda Aburriah on a regular basis and have been given all authority regarding the matter," Haruna stated wothout hesitation as she handed Suna the papers. "Watching him full time would be too taxing for a single person so I'm bringing you along with me. I'll explain in detail when we get to our destination."
"Wait wait wait," Juda said as he stood up from the bed on his shaking legs. "Why do you have to monitor me? Is it because of the fight earlier?"
Haruna looked from Suna to Juda with a blank expression. "The reason why is secret and cant be revealed. The fight earlier was disregarded as Jakeem has vouched for your innocence and said it was all his own fault. He kept his word."
"So what does this all have to do with me?" Suna asked as she stood up and slid one of Juda's arms around her again to hold him up. "I want an explanation now please."
"From now on, all three of us will be sleeping together in one dorm so I can better monitor Juda Aburriah." Haruna Jumanji turned to face Suna Tracer with a expressionless face. "You don't have a choice in the matter and neither does he. This is the logical choice I found when going over my orders. This is final. Any complaints can be taken up with the principal Aura Synto."
