Ae Rin spent the whole night trying to find a way to Arthalia. During her research, she stumbled across a very important fact that she had been neglecting all this time. It was already dawn by that time, about 4:00 am in the morning. Right after realising it, she thought about telling everything to Kyou.
She teleported herself to Kyou's house, more specifically, his living room.
The moment she set foot in the living room, she could here loud gunshots coming from a particular room at the left of the living room. Her body froze in shock for a moment before she followed the sound of gunshots and opened the door of the room from where the sound was coming.
The room was dark and the lights were not switched on yet, but there was something illuminating light.
"What the... " She sighed in relief when she saw Kyou sitting in front of the computer and playing a video game.
"YES! I killed him!!" Kyou grinned ear to ear at his victory, still not noticing Ae Rin standing right beside him.
"Oh, great job. You killed him." Ae Rin patted his shoulder and Kyou flinched.
"Woah! What?! What are you doing at my apartment? How did you get my address?!" He said while standing up and looking at his watch to confirm the time.
Ae Rin ignored his question and turned around to look at the condition of his room. "You are just as messy as before." She scoffed.
"Yeah, so what? Anyways, why did you come here? You didn't come here to comment on my room, obviously." He crossed his arms and leaned on the wall behind him.
"Ah, right. About that." Her playful smirk disappears and is replaced with a serious and anxious expression. "Yesterday, at the hospital, I talked to my father's servant. A black guardian named Azura. He told me that I had mistaken my father and that he wished me to go to this place called Arthalia. He said I would find all the answers there."
Kyou's eyes widened in shock but soon replaced with confusion, " But isn't your father trying to destroy everything? And what is Arthalia?"
"I don't know what he meant by saying that I had mistaken my father and I didn't know what Arthalia was until last night when I went up to research on it. One thing is obvious by now that it's not a place that exists on the earth. And the black guardian told me to use my powers to get there. mean that it's an another realm or dimension of some sort." She explained.
"And when and how do you plan to get there?" Kyou asked.
"I have to find a way. And when I do, you will come with me. He mentioned something about my "trusted one" and that would be you. And it's too dangerous for you to stay here all by yourself. Who knows when they will come again and destroy your house." She shrugged.
"Hmm, I will have to come, then. Wait, how do you know that they have attacked me before?" His eyes narrowed suspiciously.
"I keep an eye on your house 24/7. And that's how I know your address." She smiled.
Kyou flinched slightly and nervousness covered his face. "D-Did you see me in my room doing-.. "
"Yeah, yeah, I have seen you calling yourself handsome and smart every single morning while looking at the mirror and even dancing like a wild animal when there was no music." Ae Rin shook her head and sighed.
"No way... "
Kyou fell to the ground in disbelief and shock. His face looked like the soul inside of him had been sucked out.
"You...Don't dare to say this to anyone! Please!" He glared at her.
"Are you trying to threaten me or request to me? If you are requesting, do it properly. Then maybe I will consider it." She snickered.
"Please, beautiful demon, would you be so kind to not say this to anyone?" He forced out a twisted smile.
"That's right. You did great. Now stand up. I'll not say about it to anyone." Ae Rin smirked proudly.
He stood up and sighed in frustration and tried to forget about it.
"Ok, so, back to what I was saying. I will not come to the hospital today and I m sure everyone won't be pleased with it. But I have to find a way to Arthalia. You will go today and tell them an excuse which will spare me enough time, got it?"
Kyou nodded understandably and smiled, "Rest assured."
"Thanks. I will get going now. I have to go somewhere and hopefully meet someone." She hurriedly grabbed her mobile which she had kept on the table and ran out of the house.
