Yuri and Dean looked at each other awkwardly upon their realization of something important. Something important that everyone surely did every day. Going to the toilet.
"Wait a second Dean. I will try to contact great grandpa and beg him to undo this," Yuri face was red from blushing uncontrollably. She opened her system and contacted Cloud Luke. However, Luke was not answering the call. Yuri did not give up and called again. She kept calling for almost 30 minutes but Luke was not answering the call.
"Yuri, is there no one that can use skill that can clean our body without showering?" asked Dean. There was nothing impossible in a world of superpower. Yuri shakes her head.
"Maybe Mr. Hu know someone. How about asking him?" suggested Dean. He won't give up on this. This pertained the dignity of Yuri and he himself. Even though they agreed to get married, but they were forced to do that. The marriage also won't happen anytime soon.
"Let's try asking him," said Yuri. She immediately called Hu. A minute later, Hu knocked on the door and entered the room. Yuri and Dean asked Hu about what they wanted and fortunately, Hu knew someone that can do that but he needed to ask King Rion's permission first.
After that, Hu immediately went to King Rion to ask for permission. Yuri and Dean patiently waited for good news from Hu. Fifteen minutes later, Hu sent Yuri a message saying that King Rion gave his permission and he will go get them immediately.
Yuri was relief when she read that message. She told Dean about the message from Hu and Dean sighed in relief. Luckily, they found someone to help them from shower and going to the toilet.
About an hour later, Hu brought a man and a woman to meet them. They both seemed to be about mid-20s. The woman was a maid in the palace and the man was a cook also working in the palace.
The woman had a skill that can clean anything without normal showering and the man had a skill that can help them from going to the toilet.
When Hu brought them to meet Yuri and Dean, both of them showed a hateful face towards Dean. Dean knew why but he pretended that he did not mind. After everything was done, they all left Dean and Yuri alone.
It was not that late at night yet and they did not know what to do. They just awkwardly sat next to each other staring blankly somewhere.
Dean suddenly started talking. "Urm… What is your compatibility?" asked Dean. The mood was too awkward so he wanted to break that awkwardness.
"…" Yuri did not answer him. Dean was embarrassed that Yuri did not answer his question but he started asking something else.
"What grades are you at? Elite? Legend? Or mythical?" asked Dean. When Yuri not answering, he kept asking other questions and seeing that Yuri won't answer anything, Dean quit talking. He should not have start talking.
"I want to sleep. Do not think of doing anything unnecessary!" said Yuri. She stood up and Dean was dragged by her onto her bed. They lied on the bed closely side by side. Yuri then moved and slept on her right side.
Dean just looked at her back and felt guilty with everything that happened to Yuri. Dean closed his eyes and fell asleep.
For the next three days, nothing unordinary happened. Other than Dean's things were forcefully moved into a small house inside the palace vicinity from his small bungalow provided by the military, nothing else happened.
King Rion told Dean that that was Luke's order. He wanted Dean to live inside the palace so he can get closer to Yuri. Yuri's things also were moved into the small house. They were forced to live in the same house.
King Rion tried to persuade Luke about the marriage matter but Luke said no. King Rion assured Dean and Yuri that he will try again later and for the moment, they just needed to follow what they were told to do.
Dean asked Rion why Luke was doing all this to Dean but Rion did not say anything. Rion seemed to know about the attention Dean got from Luke but Dean was not sure if Rion knew the reason. Dean also asked Rion to bring him to meet Luke but Rion flatly refused him. Rion told Dean that he was not qualified to meet Luke. Only strong people can meet Cloud Luke.
With everything that had been forcefully arranged for them, Dean and Yuri moved into the small house. The news about Yuri marrying someone also leaked to the public. Luckily, they did not know who her partner was. They did not know who spread the news but they suspected it was Luke.
Upon the news about Yuri being paired up with someone, she got calls from all of her friends asking about the news. She denied it at first but she suddenly got a message from Luke prohibiting her from denying it. She ended up admitted to everything to her friends. The only things she kept secret was who was the man that was paired up with her.
Yuri became more determined to become stronger so that she can one day annulled the marriage. Her eyes were filled with fire to become stronger.
Since no one knew about Dean, he was quite free other than sometimes being dragged by Yuri due to his hand still stuck on her bum. He went to the internet to find news about the rubber slime and rabbit coat slime but there was still zero news about them. No one seemed to encounter them yet.
Dean deduced that perhaps they were not only in a dangerous and secluded place but they were also rare. Or maybe someone found them but decided not to publish it.
Other than that, Dean's bounce skill broke its limit. It can now be upgraded ten times and with the limit breaker crystal, it can become a higher-grade skill once it limits its upgrade. According to Sys, in order to level up the skill, he needed to use it frequently. There was no shortcut like collecting monster's soul to increase its level.
Summer 7th – Month 1 - Year 2001
After three days of sticking with each other, Dean's hand finally released Yuri's bum. Dean was happy. The same with Yuri. Upon their separations, Yuri immediately left Dean by himself. For the last three days they were together, they did not talk that much to each other.
Dean most of the time tried to strike a conversation with Yuri but she ignored him. She will talk when it was something important. So, there was not much progress between them.
After all that hassle, Dean can now start his focused back on becoming stronger. With his bounce skill and lots of slime souls in his disposal, he can start hunting the elite grade pillow slime and kilo slime. The hype about them was still ongoing but there were not as much hype as before.
Dean prepared his equipment before he went back to first dimension. In the current house he lives with Yuri, there were a teleporter there. Before he went back to the first dimension, Dean went to Yuri's room to tell her that he will stay in the first dimension for a few days.
Dean knew he did not need to do that but since they lived together, he thought it will be nicer to tell her. He knocked on her room door but there was no response. He knocked a few more times and still no answered. He decided to just opened it.
When he looked inside, Yuri was not there anymore. She already left somewhere. It did not look like she used the teleporter. Dean just smiled and he closed the door back. Dean went to the teleporter and went to the first dimension.
Dean arrived in his room in the first dimension. He took out his mask and changed his face. Dean went out of the room and went straight to the prairie. Dean sighed that there were still many people there though not as many as before.
Dean opened his map and started walking to search for either the elite grade pillow slime or the kilo slime. After about 5 minutes of walking, Dean found an elite grade pillow slime. Dean looked at the pillow slime.
The elite grade pillow slime was slightly bigger than the normal grade pillow slime he defeated two weeks ago. He can also feel how strong the pillow slime was. His stats were much lower than the pillow slime.
'I told you that you should get yourself a pet to help you' said Sys.
"I know you were right but I want to test how far I can go with my own ability," said Dean. He took out both of his dagger and used slime soul on both of his dagger to increase the dagger strength. The dagger let out yellow fumes.
Dean took a deep breath and dashed towards the pillow slime from behind it. The pillow slime felt something was coming from behind it and immediately turned back and saw Dean was coming.
Rather than running away, the pillow slime body emit faint light and used bounce. It did not bounce forward but upwards. Dean stopped running and shocked that the slime bounce itself quite high upwards.
Dean also used bounce and bounce upwards towards the pillow slime in the air. Dean slashed the pillow slime and just like the previous pillow slime Dean defeated two weeks ago, the pillow slime in front of him did the same and blocked Dean's slash with its back pillow.
However, it did not only block the attack but it also used the momentum from the slash to bounce further from Dean. With Dean still activating his bounce, he was also propelled backwards from that and their distance from each other became far.
Upon reaching ground, Dean deactivated his bounce and he did not bounce anymore however, the pillow slime bounce was still active and once it reached the ground, it bounced stronger and went further from Dean. The pillow slime then managed to run away from Dean.
"Haha. Bounce have so many uses as well as weakness," Dean dryly laughed. He not only allowed the slime to run away, he also did not cause any damage to it thanks to the pillow slime's pillow.
"Elite grade is really much stronger than me," said Dean. He wasted two of his slime souls for a hunted that did not even lasted for 5 seconds. Dean then went to find another pillow slime. After walking for another five minutes, he found another elite grade pillow slime.
This time, he not only used slime soul to his dagger but also to his shoes to increase his agility. With all that prepared, he activated bounce and with bounce and his running, in a second, he leaped behind the pillow slime. All his agility combined from his base stats, soul attachment and the bounce amount to 4.8.
The slime was shocked that Dean appeared out of nowhere. It tried to block Dean's attack but Dean did not slash the slime like before but he stabbed the slime from upwards.
The dagger stabbed the pillow slime's head and Dean did not stop there. From the stabbing position, he moved the dagger forward and ripped the slime head into half.
"Kiii!!!" the slime screamed in pain and it used bounce and bounce towards Dean's body and due to Dean's bounce still active, Dean did not suffer much damage and he was pushed back.
The slime wanted to run away but Dean won't allowed that to happen. Dean bounced forward once more and instantly went in front of the pillow slime cutting its retreated path. Dean immediately slashed the pillow slime's face and luckily managed to slash one of its eyes.
The pillow slime again screeching from pain but it did not try to attack or running away anymore. Dean took that chance and kept attacking the pillow slime and the pillow slime stopped moving after a while.
