Zombies, werewolves, and vampires... OH MY! In Oddiea (OH-DEE-AH) it is nothing but the 'norm.' In Oddiea the supernatural beings coexisted together in perfect harmony after the humans created a biochemical virus to wipe out the werewolves and vampires.

Luckily for them it proved ineffective, however it caused the majority of the human species to turn into flesh crazed Zombies. This caused the two different races to unite and figure out a way to save what little was left of the humans that were not infected.

After almost a decade of war scientist thought they were able to tame the rabid beasts by creating an antidote. Unfortunately they were not 100% successful in curing them back into the humans they once were.

Zombies looked like humans in every way during the day, but as soon as the moon rose their perfect skin took on its true form of a rotten corpse. They still had inhuman strength, the new ability to hypnotize prey and a hunger for eating flesh.

*** Chase Dorin was one of the unlucky humans that had the pleasure of being turned into a mindless flesh eating zombie for seven years before being 'cured'. Imagine waking up and the very first thing you remember is eating your girlfriends parents and her little sister. The terrified look on her face, as she points a gun at you and fires a shot before fleeing.

Wanting to make sure something like this never happened again, Chase agreed to rule over this new species of 'people,' keeping them in check. Working side by side with King Soran of the Vampires and Alpha Tidus the leader of werewolves, everything seemed 'swell' for the undead Lord until he broke the one rule he thought never possible... Protecting a human girl, because even for a zombie, love is undead...***

***Opal Hart is a hardened soul that has seen enough violence that would drive any solider mad. Having survived the 'Zombie Apocalypse' at the age of 16 on her own, the now 23 year old had no plans following the new rules set in place to protect the human race.

She is one of the 131 human females left. How did she know there was 131 specifically? Well that's because it was up to her and her 130 other females to help 'restore' balance by pairing with a sweet human male and procreate the realm.

Having other ideas she sneaks out of the human refugee camp to rough the rest of her life out alone in the vast forests of Oddiea. However she doesn't plan on running into the Lord of the Undead Chase Dorin... in the middle of the night... Hunting for something or someone to eat.***

I hope you give this book a chance, that being said that book and the depiction of vampires and werewolves will be complete different from this books concept so make sure to keep that in mind.

MY ZOMBIES:

You might have read a bit of it in the description but I will elaborate a bit further so there is no confusion in the future.

The zombies were completely mindless and decaying for seven years, some fewer if they were lucky. Scientist came up with a way to reverse the horrendous virus. They were extremely happy that the first subject within three days was able to heal and look completely normal as well as remember everything that they had done. After further studies they found that just like werewolves and vampires they retained inhuman strength and speed. Some showed other potential special qualities but the most common one was hypnotizing its prey with their white glowing eyes. They hunger for flesh, but that can be sated by hunting for animals like wolves have done and now vampires have to do, due to the low human population.

Werewolves and vampires are not lethal to each other in this book otherwise the humans would have just killed them off with each others blood. Due to the treaty however, vampires are not allowed to feed from werewolves.

And the most important rule of them all, no matter what, mate, beloved, or just plain loved, you are never to take a human.
