Damian looked at his newly acquired status and freaked out even more, "*Inhales* Haha, this is fucking crazy!!!"
He screamed out into the room to which the only reply he got, his own echo within the room, he was still breathing a bit heavy as his body was still trembling from the pain he just had as he still had the feeling from his pain receptors remember what he just went through, he then thought about the information he just gained from the words he read, all the information from why he was summoned here, to what it was going to be like once he pulled that lever four more times, eventually though, he realised that if he just sat here all day and night that he was going to get hungry and that would lead to starvation which would then lead to starvation and then to death.
He got up and put his shirt back on and went back up to the machine and looked at the dent he made in it, 'Hopefully, this thing's not broken...', the dent wasn't necessarily big but you couldn't say it was small either, Damian then went back and looked at the lever he just pulled and then the screen...
The screen changed, not in appearance but in colour and what it said, instead of telling him to pull the lever and a bunch of icons moving past, it now showed other options like, 'Armour', 'Weapons', 'Superpowers' and 'Magic', Damian looked at this and said, "Eh? Why is it showing this now? There are categories? Superpowers? Armour? Weapons? the fuck?! It has more than one type of power type, I thought it would just be magic but you can get superpower stuff...", Damian pressed the other options that were above the moving icons and saw them change into different ones like helmets, swords, a pulsing arm and other things as he clicked on the other categories, he then clicked on the magic categorie and saw that it was the first one he was on and looked at the token number in the corner...
He froze when he looked at the number, it should've said '4' but now... the number has changed to '9', thinking about this, he would have 10 tokens in total, him already using one, it doubled from the original! Damian kept looking at the changed number and then shifted his head to the dent he made in the machine, 'Is that why? It has to be!', Damian smiled for a second before he thought back to the pain he went through, 'Shit! Do I have to go through that again?! No! No! No! That's gotta be because of the weird energy shit that went onto me! Yeah! If it happens again I won't feel any pain, that's gotta be it!', Damian went back to being optimistic and then went onto the weapon option, he could faintly see the icons of swords, hammers, axes, guns and so forth, and waited for a second before he could faintly see something of interest and pulled the lever.
Damian's timing was a little off, 'Fuck!', he inwardly cursed and then saw the weapon icon slow down, 'Please be something good! Please be something good!~', he repeatedly kept saying and then he saw a weird gun icon but because it looked more pixelated he couldn't really tell what it was, he clicked the 'Yes' option and accepted the item, he waited for a second, 'Why's nothing happening?', he felt something off and took a step back to see something land where he just stood and cursed again, 'Holy fuck! This machine is trying to kill me!', but waited to see what else would happen but nothing did happen, he picked up the black and blue crystal case in front of him and opened it to find a revolver but it looked more like magnum as it had a longer barrel casing, but that's not what Damian found weird.
The gun was a deep black colour, it had a size bigger than Damian's hand and most of all it had a line going through the bottom of the gun, 'The hell is this? Does it even work with something like this on there?', the line had a weird pointy edge coming out of it, Damian saw an extra button on the side of the grip and pressed it only to see the gun transform in his hand, within less than a second a blade was protruding from the gun and made it look like a gun no more as the grip changed into a handle and the barrel was at the beginning of one of the sides to the gun, it turned into a sword.
Damian looked at it in awe, he glided one of his fingers against the edge of the sharp blade that made it look more like a short-sword than a normal sword as it was a bit bigger than a 30cm ruler, Damian held it and thought, 'It's a bit heavy but then again it's a gun and a sword put together, it's gotta have weight to it...', Damian looked at what else was in the box from before and saw that there were a black gun strap and six dark blue bullets, 'Only 6? How's that useful?', Damian pressed the button again that was now on the handle and it turned back into a gun and again he looked at it in awe, 'Fuckin' awesome!', Damian pressed another button on the grip and the barrel opened to find 6 glowing empty blue holes, Damian slowly put the 6 bullets in and once it was done a blue light went around the whole of the gun and gave it a blue light around the lines of the gun like it was an activation signal, Damian looked at this new change and smiled and put it his new gun strap to see that it fit like a glove and saw the blue light turn off, 'Huh, that's neat!'
Damian went back to the machine and this time went on the armour Categorie and saw the different forms of helmets, boots and etc. He pulled the lever and saw that it took longer than before to slow down but he didn't think this as anything special, it eventually did stop at a pair of pixelated metallic gloves that looked quite nice even when they were in pixels, he looked around him to see that they landed on the floor next to him and he picked them up, they were black and purple in colour and covered in metal scales with small engravings of an unknown language on some of the scales, Damian thought they were quite light and put them on to find them quite comfortable.
He went back to concentrating on the machine and pulled the lever again and saw it slow down again to land onto what looked like a black coat, he looked around him again to not see it and then felt something graze against his back, 'Dammit! Why can't this stuff just land in front of me!', he sighed and picked up the coat on the floor, he felt the material and saw that it was hard in some places, he looked at the arms of the coat and saw that it looked metallic also, he saw that it also had a hood, he put on the coat to find it quite comfortable and suspiciously his size but those thoughts went away when he notices a faint black energy come off it and when he pulled the hood on a weird leather-like mask covering the bottom half of his face and when he pulled it down, the mask disintegrated, 'Ooh! This thing is awesome! Josh would be jealous, haha...haha...shit...sigh...', Damian closed his eyes and sighed again to then open them again, "Let's just keep gettin' stuff from this thing", he said and carried on with what he was doing, he pulled the lever again for the armour option and watched it again slow down and land on what looked like pads?
This time the item landed in front of him, 'Thank fuck! It's about time!', he picked up the item and saw a pair of shin pads in a dark black colour, they had a snake insignia on them in a dark green colour and covered quite a big area of his leg, he put them on to see that they shrunk a bit to his size, 'Oh...so that's why they fit...', he looked at what he was wearing in curiosity, 'Not bad so far...not bad at all...but I think that's enough armour and now on to the other stuff, Damian clicked onto the 'Superpower' section and saw again the different icons, 'I hope I get something good...', he thought looking at all the vibrant colours going past, some he could guess to what they do and others not.
He pulled the lever and closed his eyes and opened them a few seconds later to see that the spinning had stopped on something he couldn't even guess when he looked at it, it looked like a bunch of glowing blue and red lights twisting around each other in a line, 'The fuck could this be?!', he clicked on it and saw the same colours from the icon go around him and give him a gentle warm colour as they coiled around him and soon enough around his whole body, making him look like a light bulb and then a couple of images popped in his head...
They were images of him running on a wall covered in the same two lights around him now, it then switched to him firing what looked like a laser of the two lights out of his hand and then him jumping off a building and foot lighting up and creating a colourful shockwave around him with cracks in the ground.
The images faded away and he blinked in awe as he was left with some words, 'Neon-Conductivity...', the lights had already faded, 'H-holy shit! Uh, Status?'

Damian raised his brow and looked at the changes to his 'status' and thought, 'Oh so that's what they are called... Pfft! That's the most cheesy shit I've ever heard, you could have just gone with something more basic?! Sigh...', and then he looked at his new stats, 'Oh? I guess the new equipment gave some buffs...damn this is like an RPG or some shit!', he then went back to the machine and pulled the lever again and saw it spin again to see it stop at a white and green shield, 'I can't really guess this one...is it an actual shield or...', Damian's confusion was answered when he felt a subtle burning sensation on his right arm, he pulled the jacket sleeve up and saw the same shield on his arm glowing as it shapes itself on him like a tattoo and then he got a few pictures in his head again that were different from before.
The first, himself bloody on the floor, to what looks like himself dying and then the final breath and then the shield on his arm glowing up and breaking and he gets up brimming with life...the images ended there and Damian was in a little shock seeing himself die and come back, 'W-what the fuck?!', this is insane, he checked his status to see that the ability was called, 'Saviour's shield', and saw that he only had two tokens left.
Damian then thought, 'Hmm...what should I spend these on then...superpowers or magic...welp...how about both!', he smiled and then pulled the lever again to get a new power called, 'Bloodthirsty', and then switched to the magic option and pulled the lever again to see that he gained 'Lightning Magic', he grinned at these new options but couldn't help but look at the name 'Bloodthirsty', and think, 'That sounds like some ability from a shooter game...and I didn't get any vision from this one...weird...' and then looked at his status again.

He then looked at the machine and saw it sink into the ground, 'What the hell?!', it disappeared but then he saw something else emerge a red button and then a sign above it that said, 'Press to leave area', Damian's eyes lit up but then he thought, 'No! I gotta be smart about this, I don't even know how these abilities work! I got plenty of time to figure out how they work, there's no timer, let's begin...training...', he sighed and then clenched his fists and then looked up with the thought, 'I will find my way home!'
