Damian thought about how to make these abilities work, 'Hmm...from the images I got...I just have to picture the weird energy crap around me...', Damian closed his eyes and tried to 'sense' the mana in him, at first he couldn't feel a thing and thought it was just stupid but then he thought about the way it got into him in the first place and tried to picture it.
He tried to imagine himself as the substance crawling around his body and being absorbed into him and travelling towards the centre of his body, near the heart and he could just barely feel something, it was faint but none the less it was there, he tried to image that energy going around his body, spreading till it reached everywhere, he used his veins as a type of travelling pipe that went throughout his body and pushed the energy further and further.
Soon enough he couldn't push it any further and he opened his eyes...to see a faint black aura around his body and then he thought about moving the mana to a certain point in his body and pushed most of it towards his right arm and felt it get faintly heavier and the mana gets denser in colour and a fog up around his arm and hand.
He then put his hand flat out like a high-five and saw a black circle with odd letters on them spin around in the circle and then thought about it was similar to some of the stuff he saw on the internet, "Magic huh...this is gonna take a while getting used to...sigh...", he said to himself and then thought about the type of stuff he saw when it came to magic and he thought, 'So shadow magic and lightning magic...I guess with the colour of the circle it should be shadow magic...what am I supposed to do? Think about a move and try to recreate it...wait...that might work!', Damian brought his hand up to face and looked at the circle for a second longer before he thought about what to make with this magic he had just gotten.
He thought about trying something basic and thought about a black ball coming out of his hand and pushed the thought and the mana into his hand to see a growing black ball starting from the size of a golf ball to the size of a volleyball and he threw it to see that it was sent forwards at a rapid speed towards the wall and made blew up into a strange field of black energy before disappearing, Damian was confused on what happened but smiled as he thought he had gotten it right and to confirm his actions he was given a notice.
[Through your imagination you have created the spell [Dark Sphere] a ball of shadow magic that can hide in the shadows and be used as a sneak attack; it has the effect of making a small explosion of mana imbued with a slight withering effect and can lower speed by 20 points; as well as doing damage of 35 HP (Note: Can be increased based on imbued mana)]
Damian looked at this in surprise and thought, 'I guess I'm going to get this every time I do something like this, well let's try to make two more 'spells' and I have the perfect things in mind, ten minutes later Damian had made two new spells-
[Through your imagination you have created the spell [Black Slash] a wave-like slash that slices through the light of day and travels through the blackening of the night increasing its speed; it has the added effect of eroding whatever it touches for up to 3 seconds as well as doing damage of 40 HP(Note: Can be increased based on imbued mana)]
[Through your imagination you have created the spell [Dark Cloak] it covers the user in shadow magic making them harder to notice in darker areas as well as making it harder to hear their movement; the added effect is limited muffle and it takes 20MP a minute to keep active]
Damian did the same with some of his other abilities but it already gave him a breath understanding when it came to superpowers so he only tested what he got from the images that were zooming in his head, a few hours had past and Damian decided to go as he was not only anxious to see what he was about to face but hungry, 'Haha...man...I wish it brought the cake with me...', he gave a wry smile and then went up to the red button and pressed it to get a headache again and disappear just like he did the first time.
Damian saw a black emptiness for a few seconds, he felt like he was travelling within an empty void but then, before his eyes, the glistening light of what looked like the sun overcast him, irritating his eyes as they got used to the rays of the sun everywhere, Damian also realised another crucial fact about himself, he was currently falling from a few feet in the air and he shouted in frustration, "Oh shit! You Fucker!", when he landed he didn't feel any actual pain, the ground was soft and warm, but also a bit...grainy?
Damian got up and looked to the floor to see that he had landed in a sand-desert area, he dusted off the grains of sand latching onto his clothing and then looked around more to see miles and miles of sand but there was something else within all this sand, it was small and faint but he could still see the outlines of it, "Oh! A city?", Damian squinted his eyes and looked again to see what in fact did look like a city, he saw the overhanding towers with the giant castle-like structure in the centre of them connecting them together, he saw some walls and other buildings that had similarities to one another but he couldn't see far enough to tell what the structures actually looked like or what was going on there.
He scratched his head and sighed, "I guess since I got nothing else to do in this place I might as well explore, hopefully, it's not anything troublesome over there. Damian started walking towards the structures in the distance and after a while, he could see its true face, it was indeed a city and one that looked quite busy, he could see small people with brownish-red or red hair walking around, some with below-average height and some going as low as under 4" ft tall, he could see that they had weapons, tools or even items of different shapes on them, a couple he recognised and the rest he was completely lost on, Damian new that they could only be one race, he breathed in before inwardly shouting, 'Dwarves!!! The first race apart from humans that I see is dwarves?! Haha! Great, hopefully, they aren't assholes'
As Damian began walking again he noticed that there were small grey creatures in the sand, they looked as if they were swimming freely, Damian at first ignored them but more and more of them began to show up around him, he counted just over a dozen, 'Yup, these are probably some really low-class starter monster or some shit, wow! I mean, it hasn't even been an hour yet, I think? I mean that's what it feels like...', he stopped talking to himself and got out his only weapon the gun/sword, he pressed one of the buttons on the handle to see that it turned back into a short-sword, Damian thought, 'Well, low-class is like the training monsters right? Then let's do this!'
Damian was holding his gun by the handle and as he was getting it out of the holster he thought, 'This thing regenerates the bullets per minute after I've used all six, better use the sword and magic first, might as well get some real experience with it all while I can', Damian with all his optimism had already got the gun out and switched it back into a sword, he then coated it in shadow magic, he pulled the sword up and then down towards one of the rat-like creatures in the sand that was closest to him, a black wave of energy came off the blade and plummeted towards the creature and split it in half, Damian then heard a click go off in his head but he ignored it for now and carried on with the rest of creatures, he kept slicing the creatures around him and eventually all that was left was pieces of grey furry flesh and meat around him and red blood.
Damian looked at this and thought, 'Hmm...I thought I would feel something after killing these things but...no. I guess it's just like killing a chicken, one chop and their dead.', Damian then remembered that he heard those ringing noises in his head and then thought about how this was all similar to a game, he opened his 'status to see...

Damian smiled and thought, 'Oh! my XP went up! I killed 13 of them, so 5 XP per kill? I mean I get that's not so bad but what number will it increase to when I level up and I wonder if my stats go up...anyway, that's all in the future, gotta focus on the present.
Damian went up to the dead bodies of the creatures and crouched downwards to get a better look at them, as he originally saw they had short grey hair along with skin, they had a tail just like a rat but they had three eyes along with oddly shaped hands that looked more like forks as they only have three fingers on either hand, Damian also noticed that they had a small white orbs inside a few of them, he pushed the ones with the white orbs to another side with the flat side of his short-sword as he didn't want to touch the weird-looking creatures, he then used the sword like a spoon or shovel and scooped the orbs out of the remains of the dead creatures and picked up the white orbs that also had blood dripping from them, after he got them all he counted five orbs, 'Hmm...are they...monster cores? This is really going to get annoying to get used to, so cringy as well...why couldn't this sword have a better name too!', Damian began to complain in his head but in the end, sighed it off.
He got the blood off the white orbs and put them in his pocket and finally headed towards the city without any obstructions in his way...
