The music soon came to an end and the live band started to perform. Unable to control her emotions Mui Wengie rushed towards the gift counter. Sure enough, there was a gift wrapped in a light brown paper resembling the color of her eyes.
Unable to manage her excitement her fingers automatically moved towards the gift to uncover it. She resembled a little girl who has suddenly offered her favorite chocolate after months or years of deprivation.
"Don't even think about it. This would be unfair towards the other gifts." blocking her hand was the one none other than the one who claimed to hold it tightly and walk a thousand miles together moments ago
Mui Wengie's eyes snapped towards her husband. A frown breaking to form on her moments ago smiling face.
She instantly interlocked his fingers with hers and leaned towards him with a smiling face. Completely mesmerized Wang Delun forgot to respond to such seduction.
The approaching beauty was his to behold. He could finally claim her now and she could not say a word against it. Thinking about this his heartbeat accelerated. His fingers trembling slightly.
This was a good sign for Mui Wengie. Smirking she kissed his cheeks and moved slightly towards his ears.
Wang Delun soon became a statue, this was never a good sign. When Mui Wengie's cool breath touched his sensitive ears, a shiver ran down his spine.

Wang Delun could never stand such tactics. He soon gave in and the princess for the day soon smiled like she just got promoted to be the queen.

She could bet that this pack was not there a moment ago when she looked this way. Remembering the brief encounter she shook her head in frustration.
"Just let me see" unwrapping the gift Mui Wengie tried to control her heartbeats which were running remarkably quick.
Soon through the wrapping, a beautiful painting emerged. It caught the attention of many people nearby. It looked like an illusion. Many art lovers from the elder generation gathered around admiring the work.
The painting was an abstract consisting of two humans facing each other. If one studied the painting closely, the women looked like Mui Wengie while the man resembled Wang Delun.They were walking on two separate bridges which resembled a DNA structure and they were standing at a place where the strands intersect. Interlocking their fingers and smiling at each other, while the sun shined through their hands. It was a beautiful depiction.
But what caught the attention of the people was only the painting but also a poem written at the bottom.
