As they were walking through the departments, they knew that they would be asked the question and sure enough soon the respected departmental head was asking them what they observed and their suggestions for any changes.
The was no best candidate as all three of them were good and outstanding in one field or the other.
Many of the heads were impressed by the vast knowledge of the siblings and were excited to work with them. This was the rare opportunity for a few to develop and improve the connections.
"This is our canteen where every staff member has their lunch together. Soon it will be lunchtime, so you can eat here first and then follow me to your temporary work stations." Their guide for the day declared and left to have his lunch.
The canteen was huge and had many stations with different cuisines to choose from. 'No wonder the people stay loyal to the Yan' Xiao Lienji sighted. 'Good food with an immense salary and no discrimination was the key to success?'
Taking a plate from the counter Xiao Lienji started wandering in search of her food. There were so many options to choose from. Her eyes sparkled.
Satisfied with her choices she found an empty chair and sat there, her eyes wandering around.
All the people from all over the building were present her, regardless of the type of job one does. The canteen was spread across the floor with coffee and tea maker in one corner and snacks the other.
Many staff members bought their tiffin and some preferred to buy food from the canteen. The food provided was of reasonable price and good quality. There can be seen an open kitchen at a corner for people with basic ingredients to make something of their own.
They provided free snacks and dessert. What can one ask for?
They followed one moto, 'Employees are the key to success'
Li Na's lips twitched, she was a princess born to be pampered, how was she supposed to eat at a place filled with so many unknown people?. She was not proud but this was surely a first. She sighed. Her every move was observed she should be composed and endure.
Her face stiffened when she looked around and saw Xiao Lienji had already moved around and was looking for a place to sit and once she found one she quickly sat there. This was the first where the other party was not viewing her as their priority.
'She did not even look in my direction'
The situation for Li Wei was not that different. His eyes were filled with curiosity. "Let us eat" walking towards the food counter Li Wei took a step forward and soon Li Na followed.
Both the siblings were sitting opposite to Xiao Lienji. They have not seen someone so happy while eating.
Once the lunch break was over they were given some work to complete. 15 minutes before the working hours were over into the President's office. Even though the building will be empty soon but it was well known that the President was a workaholic person and the President's office usually work till late hours.
"Your evaluation has been completed, two were at the top of our list" Ye Mei looked at the report. "Li Wei and Xiao Lienji"
Li Wei's fingers formed a fist. He didn't think someone like her can be his competition.
'I underestimated her'
"But with just a point difference Xiao Lienji," turning her eyes towards the timid girl in front of her Ye Mei thought can she be able to handle this? "You should report to the President's office tomorrow at 9 A.M sharp"
"Li Wei would report to the marketing department while Li Na you will report to the human resource department"
Li sibling's face cracked. This was not in their plan.
"Report on time. You may leave now."
While going out Li Na was spacing out and she misplaced her footing and tripped forwards. Both Li Wei and Xiao Lienji moved to save her but at the same time, the elevator door opened.
