"Oh la la! Rosie, you look amazing! Every man would fall over just by seeing you! Let's go!"
"Do you really need to embarrass me right now?"
"Of course! It's the easiest way to put some colour on those pale cheeks of yours"
"!!!"
"What?"
'Sam are you a lesbian or what!?' Voicing my thoughts out loud would result my slow and painful death. I should just shut my mouth and do as Sam says!
"Nothing. Let's go"

Sam and I entered a pub that wasn't near the campus. As Sam said, the farther we are from the campus, the better. It surely was better than a club and it wasn't that crowded.
"Two pints for us!" Sam's voice resounded through the pub as we made our way to the bar. A young bartender approached us and gave us the glasses filled with foamy beer.
"For a new chapter in your life!" Sam clanked her mug against mine and drank a bit. I did the same, even though I don't drink alcohol at all. Going against my dear friend is way too dangerous, especially when she is so excited to do something. Just the thought of it sends shivers down my spine.
"Ohhhh there is already a man checking you out! Right in that corner~"
'I hope you are satisfied with your life now, Sam'. I cursed her in my heart as a took a glance at the man that, as she claimed, been checking me out.
The man was sitting there with a glass of whiskey. I am not gonna lie, he was quite handsome. The prominent jawline, the short stubble, straight nose and sharp, hazel eyes. I could feel him looking straight into my soul, reading me like an open book in the library. He slightly brushed his dark messy hair with his hand, revealing a visible scar on his right eyebrow. His thin lips formed a smirk and his intense gaze made my skin form goosebumps. Everything in him screamed danger, and I regretted listening to Sam and going out.
"Isn't his appearance have danger written all over it?" I whispered in Sam's ear as she then answered me: "Danger? He looks exactly like a real man should look like! I bet he is good in bed! You should go and flirt with him!" Sam's eyes were sparkling with mischief and excitement. I really wanted to slap her so she wakes up from her illusions.
"If you find him to be so manly, why don't you go flirt with him yourself?"
"I am not taking what is not mine. He checked you out, not me! He is all yours, dear".
I took another glance of the mysterious man that was sitting in the corner. He raised his glass, mouthed 'cheers' and without breaking eye contact, drank his whiskey slowly. His actions were so elegant and gracious, it made me even more scared of him. He is not human! I turned back to Sam, only to notice her weird smile. Did she want to sell me to that scary man or what? I swear to god if she dares to do so, I...
"Hey, ginger girl! What do you say if we go somewhere private and have some fun together?" Sam and I looked at the man that approached us. His self confidence was remarkable, unlike his face. He was the opposite of the man in the corner. Short, face that reminded me of a fish, and unlike the elegant man, he was drunk and clumsy. I looked at my friend, and I saw how angry she was. She hated it when people called her 'ginger'. A storm was approaching and knowing Sam, it will be a good show! Where is the popcorn when you need it the most?
"Hey you reverse short merman! What is your thinking process that led you to believe I will be willing to sleep with a fish faced kid just 'cause he wanted to!?" She said it so loudly, that everyone in the pub turned their heads towards her. The drunk man was fuming! You go girl!
"Who did you call a kid!? I am a 20 years old man and I moved out of my parents' place a long time ago! I can..."
"I think you should move back into your parents' house so they would educate you better, kid"
"I AM NOT A KID!!" Oh god, I should intervene before Sam says anything stupid and cause even a bigger uproar. But how can I resist roasting that kid even more? I enjoyed the spectacle and now I want to be part of it!
"Sam, don't be so angry at him. Do you remember what my mother used to say about short men? They are like old, grumpy ladies that no one ever looks at!" Sam's hysterical, contagious laughter made everyone else in the pub to laugh as well, except for the fish man, who was so angry, his face became tomato red.
"Hey tomato face, why so serious?" Sam continued to mock him and throwing even more fuel into the fire.
"I AM A REAL MAN! You will regret saying this once you two get in bed with me!"
"Sorry mate, I don't want to be disappointed". Apparently, just saying this was enough for the drunk man to explode and grab my arm, trying to pull me out of the pub.
"You get your dirty hands off of my friend!" I heard Sam shouting at him. I tried to hit him but that block head didn't even bat an eye, grabbing my arm like I was a doll.
