Su Yanruo walked for what felt like an hour but only twenty minutes has passed by. She was tired and every muscle in her body felt sore. She sighed when her stomach grumbled for the nth time. She paused, noticing an empty fallen tree trunk nearby. At first, she carefully scanned the entire trunk for any insects, ants, or snakes. When she saw none, she sat on the truck to rest for a while and also to fill her empty stomach.
She quickly took out a few berries and a fruit from her pocket which the leader guy gave her. She ate the berries slowly so that the juices from the berries whole lightly moisten her parched throat. While sitting on the tree trunk, her mind wandered and began to think about different things.
It was not an easy task to get out of this forest.
