Chapter 14 - At The Beach

I see and hear the seagulls swoop and call,

It's extremely windy, I wonder will they fall?

But they are just hungry, "the little pests,"

That always sleep, eat and very rarely do they rest.

I can taste the salty sea water mixed in the air,

And there is a dull fishy smell that I struggle to bare.

The salt sits on my tongue, it tastes really funny,

But I ignore it because the beach is so picturesque and sunny.

I feel grains of fine sand trickling through my toes and feet,

It is hot and I tiptoe through it to avoid the heat.

The cool water is a relief when I dip them in by the shore,

The seaweed and sand is squelchy and soggy on the sea floor.

I thoroughly enjoy going the beach, it's so much fun,

Admiring the amazing waves and just lying in the sun.

The day was totally amazing, I relaxed all day,

Every time I am there I love to run, sunbathe and play.
