Sheloah looked down again. "Veon, we need to make a plan. We won't last for a week. We can stretch this out for three days," Sheloah said and Veon spoke.
"Yes, I know but what can we do now?" Veon sighed and Sheloah thought again.
If the estimated time will be three days, how will they survive for the meantime and how can they escape?
She looked at her classmates once more who still continued to talk to each other. If they don't act now, this happiness would really be temporary.
Sheloah looked at Veon. "We need to get resources fit for three days and then while we stay here for two days, we make a plan for the third day so we can leave."
"Where are we going to get these resources? We need food, water, clothes…" He started counting what we needed on his fingers and Sheloah sighed.
'Where exactly?'
She looked beyond the rooftop. Since they were on top, they could see some parts of Baguio City and from afar, they could see the biggest mall, SM. Yes, there are indeed other places where they could get resources but when people think about complete resources, the biggest mall is where they could go. They won't use money, anyway… so Sheloah thought that they could get as much as they can for three days.
"In SM mall," Sheloah said and Veon widened his eyes.
"Sheloah, are you thinking? SM is far away from school!" Sheloah leaned on the railings of the rooftop as Veon continued to speak. "If we go there, how will we be safe? You know that SM is one of the biggest malls in our city and it is full of people… who now might've turned into zombies!"
"You have a point," Sheloah said and Tyler and Josh approached them.
"What's the next plan," Josh asked, waiting for Sheloah's answer.
"Still thinking." Tyler sighed as he heard Sheloah's answer.
"You guys might've thought of something for now," Tyler said and Veon answered.
"We will get resources fit for three days so on the third day we can leave this place." Veon looked at Sheloah with doubt. "Sheloah said we get those resources later in SM." Now it was Tyler and Josh's turn to widen their eyes.
"SM!?" Both of them shouted in unison as if Sheloah had said something crazy.
Sheloah looked back at the three boys behind her. "I know that the place is quite far from school. Since the zombie apocalypse had started, most people there may have turned into zombies."
"Sheloah, I think—" She didn't let Josh finish his sentence.
"It's set. We have to go to SM." She didn't want anyone to change her mind.
"Give me a reason why we have to go to SM no matter what." It was now Tyler who spoke and Sheloah answered him anyway.
"Because we are going to get our resources there." Tyler sighed deeply upon hearing this answer. He really sounded unconvinced.
"But why? Do you want to die early? There are other places!" Sheloah shook her head and judging from Tyler's reaction, it was obvious that he was nervous and scared.
Well, who wouldn't be? They are in a zombie apocalypse!
"We won't die early. I have a plan." They now all looked at Sheloah seriously.
"This better be good," Josh commented and Sheloah gave him a small smirk.
"We will all get everything in SM. Food, water, clothes, medicine, and other stuff that we might need. Yes, we have other places where we could get these from but why SM, you ask?" She leaned forward towards the boys and the boys looked at each other confused.
"We will not only get resources there, dumb-dumb!" She showed them a cheeky smile. "We also get guns and other weapons," she said finally then the three of them said "oh" in unison as they nodded their head slowly.
"You could've said earlier," Josh said as he squinted his eyes at Sheloah.
"The problem is… how will we be able to go there. It's far from here," Veon said and Sheloah shrugged.
"We will think about that later. For now, we will leave this place tonight." The three boys were now again looking at her in shock.
"Tonight!? Zombies are wild at night! Maybe…" Josh said in panic and Sheloah patted his left arm to calm him down.
"Well, generally true but usually it's silent at night. We will go to SM quietly." They now looked at Sheloah with worry in their eyes. It was as if she's turning crazy!
"And I hope we get there quietly soon because seriously… this is nerve-wracking!" Tyler then put both of his hand on his curly hair as he started to pull them like he was the one turning insane.
"We will think about this. For now, let us join our classmates." Tyler and Josh then went to sit beside their classmates after Sheloah spoke.
Veon looked at Sheloah. "Aren't you going?" Sheloah shook her head.
"I have to think about the plan," she said and Veon nodded. As they were talking, they didn't notice that one of their classmates approached them.
The classmate who went up to them was Jules. He was the techy boy of the class. He would always go to school bringing his iPod, iPad, or laptop. He would always have the advanced, newest released technology and would automatically know information about those.
"What's the matter, Jules," Sheloah asked as Jules sat in front of them, starting up his laptop.
Sheloah and Jules were not actually on good terms. She knew the guy hated her and she hated his guts as well. Sheloah did nothing to him yet it was him who spread rumors about her being a bitch, being close with men and all. He even claimed that Sheloah was stealing his friends from him. It made Sheloah think if he was actually gay. Still, even though she did not like the person, she treated him neutrally.
The moment Jules entered his laptop's password, he looked at Sheloah. "Since now that we are in this situation, I decided to help in any way I can." He started typing in his laptop again. He showed his laptop after a few seconds and it now had an open PDF file about zombies.
"I downloaded this before. I was interested about the theories about zombies and did some research. Maybe this would explain some things," he said and Veon got the laptop for him and Sheloah to read.
