I didn't want any disturbance. I knew he would call me again. So I kept my phone on silent.
I turned around and stared at the ceiling of my room.
"Why don't you just accept that he will never be yours. Why can't you do this Y/n. Mani is made for her. They are of the same age. Me? I am younger than him. Who cares about me? Accept this Y/n that he will never be yours. Maybe there is someone else more deserving for you."
I went into bathroom washed my face and went to sleep.
"Y/n the dinner is ready."
My sleep was disturbed by my mom's voice. It was 8:00 pm. Dad must have arrived.
"Daaaaaaad" I said while coming down from stairs. "How was your day. You look very tired."
"Sweety you can understand me from my looks. Certainly today was the most hectic day of the week . I wish I rest for a period. Regain myself and start again."
"Then take an off from office"
"It is not that easy" he said while pinching my cheeks. " You have to struggle and struggle in order to get the money. As per your age you have a long way to go. From next year your struggling days will start."
I could see the expectations he had in his eyes. Even though he never forced me to take the traditional paths still I have to prove myself. I want to make him proud.
That's it the bottom line is no more drama in life. Studies and carrer matter most. Friends come after Family and career. I don't care mode ON.I am happy alone. I don't need anyone in my life. Hardwork in order to make my future safe.
