My name is Anna Baker and I am a college student .

In my life nothing magical nor any romantic thing happened .I used to be a rank holder in my school . I didn't know the world outside the books . Also I didn't have any friend till high school.

When I joined the college , the atmosphere was very different and youthful . I started to make friends and enjoying my life to the fullest.

10-12 years ago a tragedy happened which changes my life completely .

I remember that day very clearly. It was sunday and I was playing with my dad , who was a police officer and my mom was doing her work , instead of playing with me. She was also a office employee . I was their only child.

As I have to live alone the whole day with my caretaker , I asked my father that I wanted a pet who will stay with me forever .

My dad said - "Ofcourse you can ."

But my mother immediately said raising her voice - "It is difficult to take care of both of you , and you are saying that you want to have a pet ."

My dad and me , both of us looked at her and we were not able to utter a single word .

I asked her , if she was against this then I wanted my sibling as there is no one to play with me.

I didn't know why but she immediately agreed to have pet ,she said - " you can have a pet instead."

we were going to get ready as we had to go to the pet shop . As we step inside the elevator , something went wrong with it . The elevator was shaking and suddenly it stopped. Somehow my father was able to open the doors but we were stuck in between two floors. Only a narrow opening was there .

As my father looked outside the looked outside , people were running here and there , the whole building was caught by fire.

A middle school student was there and he helped me to get outside the elevator but my parents were unable to get outside of it and the elevator fell as if 'God' was taking away my life from me...

As the fire was coming toward us , he picked me up in his arms and jumped from that building , as the rescue team was present there , we were saved .

Both of us lost our families in that incident. we were send to an orphanage .

We were together for almost six months. After that I got adopted by a British couple .

The only thing I knew about him was his name - ' SAMUEL '. He saved my life ,so I couldn't forgot him . The memories of him were placed deep inside my heart .....
