While the entire city was brimming with the glamour of night, a heart-rending piano sound can be heard from the 49th floor in the capital's well-known 'Goldenfly tower'. It was like a trigger to a human's buried emotions. But there was not a single soul to hear it in that dark place.
Time went on along the piano sound…the night has gone and day broke but the one playing the piano didn't realize anything as her concentration was solely on hitting piano keys.
Her fingers abruptly came to stop when the on the wall ticked sharply at 9 am.
'Hah…He didn't come in the end…like always' her fingers on the piano tiles trembled as she stood up weakly from sitting too long while playing the piano.
As she was leaving the living room the vanilla cake placed on the table along with a few other dishes and the romantic candles that was mostly melted away came into her view.
But nothing reflected in her eyes…it was just empty. After a few moments, she slowly retrieved her gaze and made her way to the bedroom.
The bedroom had a classic look along with the rightful elegance. But the only aura filled in the room was loneliness. Like a lifeless doll, she moved and stood in front of the suitcases placed neatly in the side of the bed.
For a moment her empty gaze roamed around the room. But she did nothing and brought the suitcases to the living room.
She took the papers neatly placed in the file. When she saw the bolded phrase 'DIVORCE AGREEMENT' in the paper, she tightly clenched her left hand and released it after inhaling and exhaling some long breaths.
'In the end, I lost' she sighed and took the pen to sign the papers. As she signed the tremble in her hand stopped and her eyes were also so clear with no more tear to cry. She removed the wedding band from her finger and placed it on the top of the paper and left the residence without turning back.
When she arrived at the airport the place was already packed with an enormous crowd. 'Time to put on the mask' she murmured and put on her sunglasses and wore a dazzling smile that could blind anyone and made her way to the entrance.
When the crowd in the entrance saw the silhouette slowly approaching, it went wild like a forest fire and the roars of a name "HAN AERA!!" echoed throughout the building. It took a lot of time for the airport force to control the situation.
With a slight smile on her face, Han Aera greeted her fans. The crowd went crazy once more.
She gave her autographs to some lucky fans and hugged some extremely lucky ones. After greeting her fans, she made her way to board the plane.
On her way, she turned back and waved her hands with a true smile on her face to the fans who loved her all these years, When there was no one to do so.
She boarded the plane and closed her eyes. It was not sure whether she was asleep or not.
She opened her eyes when she felt the plane shook and heard the shrieks of people on the plane. The plane was slowly bursting into flames due to some mechanical failures.
They were crying their eyes out when they realized that their life is going to end right now in this plane. But Aera was nowhere near crying. She was smiling with her pearl-like tooth in the view.
'Hehe…I thought leaving the country would be good for all. But seems like God had planned something else for me. Well, it is nice too. Finally free from everything…..free from this cursed love too…' as she thought there was a pained smile on Han Aera's face.
Soon the flight was engulfed in the sea of flames.
As Aera took her last breath there was no regret since she did all she can do. So she was smiling like a child who was in its mother's arm.
Well, she was going to the place where her mother is. And then there was nothing but darkness.
