'Finally, I've read everything that I needed here.' Thought Raiden while closing a book he had just finished.
It is now the last week of classes, next week are the tests for graduation for normal students.
According to the memories from his shadow clones, he was the top of his class with full scores in all subjects. He was offered to graduate multiple times now, but he said that he still wasn't ready, now finally he has finished his training plan that has lasted for two full years.
It had additions to it throughout the time he had been training like Kenjutsu and medical knowledge, but he was still able to finish it.
His arsenal was enough to make him a Chuunin right now. He was an expert with fire and lightning release, with him being able to use one hand seal for multiple Jutsu. he was proficient in wind release and had mastered the basics for water and earth after a year and a half of training.
'It looks like training in chakra natures you don't have an affinity for really is a lot harder.' He thought while thinking back on his progress.
His chakra control is probably one of the best in the village especially since he started training it from a young age.
He's an expert in ninja tools and can enhance them using his lightning release. His Sharingan has reached two tomoe so he hardly misses a target.
His Genjutsu prowess is comparable to Itachi's which is surprising since he had the Sharingan for a longer time, but Shisui said that with the elders and the clan head teaching him about the Sharingan, he'll probably master it before he's nine. (A/N: Actual wiki info. I was blown away, he mastered his Sharingan in a year from getting it.)
unlike when he first started practicing taijutsu with Shisui and Itachi, he now had a lot of experience, especially after sparring and training with Guy every now and then.
His Kenjutsu skills were coming along nicely, but unlike other skills, Kenjutsu needs a lot of time to reach an expert level in. His small body is also limiting his progress, even if it is strong as most advanced moves need a bigger body. He has mastered the basic skills and is already practicing intermediate-level skills.
And finally, his main goal in the academy, reading about the history of the world. He has read the history of the warring states period which went on for hundreds of years until Uchiha Madara and Senju Hashirama, The First Hokage, founded Konoha. He read about the three great ninja wars and the political situations that caused them. He felt himself understand why Hashirama and Madara made Konoha after reading about the deaths of children not even 12. How life expectancy was only 30. But making the hidden villages opened up an even bigger battlefield. Although civilians were spared from the fighting between clan, children returned to war.
He kind of understood why Uchiha Madara wanted to unite the world under Konoha. But he also understood that conflict only leads to more conflict, so he agreed with the first Hokage that fear wasn't the way to stop the wars.
He read about many great ninjas and their abilities, which widened his world view a bit and made him realise he still had a long way to go before actually being considered strong.
He advanced his thinking ability greatly by reading the events that lead to the system they had now.
He also started reading medical books as of late. It wasn't too hard as he had the Sharingan and it was mostly memorising. So he now had a great amount of knowledge on the human body and was intending to ask his mom to teach him some medical ninjutsu after graduating.
'I finished learning everything I wanted to learn in these two years with more. Most likely, right now only veteran Chuunin could beat me, as I still don't have their experience.' He thought to himself while leaving.
A week later, he applied for early graduation and graduated with the highest score in the academy's history surpassing the Fourth Hokage and Itachi, but he didn't let that get to his head.
'Itachi only took four months to graduate while the Fourth Hokage graduated during the war and was a civilian.' He thought to himself.
The day following his graduation, A man that had his right eye and arm covered visited him in the training grounds.
"Hello." Said the man to Raiden who looked at him as if expecting him.
"You must be Danzo-sama."
"Yes, I am. How did you know?"
"Itachi told me about your visit to him."
Danzo asked multiple questions testing his mind while also seeing if he had loyalty to the leaf.
After answering his questions, Danzo left towards the Hokage tower. He barged into the office and said to the Hokage not caring about his position: "Hiruzen, I want that kid that graduated early this year for my root."
"I'm afraid I can't give him to you."
"Is it because he's an Uchiha? You've already made me miss out on Itachi and now this. He's only half Uchiha, they won't care about him."
"It's not because he's related to the Uchiha, It's because of him." Said Hiruzen while pointing towards the window.
Jiraiya was sitting there reading a book then turned towards Danzo
"You can forget about him. That kid is a potential sage and I have decided to take him as my student."
"you're taking a three-man cell? ridiculous!"
"Who said anything about a three-man cell. I'll take him as a personal disciple and teach him, the old man just agreed."
"Goddamit Hiruzen, I could've made him into a hidden weapon for the leaf. The child has the same capabilities as Uchiha Itachi! If I train him he'll be a great weapon for us."
"Us or you?" Said Jiraiya before his sensei could say anything.
Danzo looked at Jiraiya hatefully and realised he wasn't going to get anything now that Jiraiya had claimed him as his student and stormed out.
"Sigh, that last question was uncalled for."
"Sensei, you are too tolerant for that man, he has released the rumour about Naruto and took some of the best talents in the village and made them emotionless machines."
Sarutobi sighed again while Jiraiya left through the window.
Raiden, the centre of that talk was walking home not knowing anything about getting a legendary ninja for a teacher.
