Chapter 4 - Heaven's Library

'Is that the son of Maximus? No matter whose son he is, he deserves to die before he grows up. "

Whispered one of the masked figures as he overtook them all and arrived in less than a second to Indra.

"Die!"

Shouted the masked figure.

* Woosh * * boom *

"Who are you? And how dare you attack my son?"

Asked the enraged King as his murderous intent set fire to the ground and destroyed, as did many buildings nearby.

'As I imagined, he is much stronger than before.'

He thought about the figure seriously as he hurried backward.

Indra, who had already taken her hand off the stone, was shocked that she almost died without reason.

"Kukuku. As expected of a child blessed by the heavens, you don't remember little people like me…"

The masked man spoke, he then took off his mask and everyone saw his strange face as if it had been crushed.

"You…"

Whispered Maximus in shock.

Indra, who had recovered from the shock, looked with interest. It seemed like a search for revenge.

As he stared in hatred at Maximus, the mysterious figure began to exude a murderous intention with the same intensity as Maximus.

* Crack *

Both intentions struggled and wreaked havoc on the ground, many of the mortals had already passed out, this included the clan youth, except for Indra, who had the protection of her father.

Many in the VIP area looked at the monsters in shock.

"I didn't imagine the king was so strong…"

Commented Clan Woody Patriarch.

"Really."

The Phoenix clan matriarch agreed.

"It's been a long time… Aaron."

Maximus said, smiling.

"Shut up, your trash."

Shouted Aaron as he attacked Maximus with a silver sword.

"Haa!"

Shouted Aaron as he descended toward Maximus.

"Sixth Sword Path: Speed."

Maximus whispered as he drew a sword as if it were magic.

* Woosh *

In less than a second, many exchanges were made.

"Gahh!"

Aaron exclaimed in agony as he knelt and clutched his deeply bleeding belly.

"Give up… I'm 2 stages stronger than you."

Maximus said seriously.

'Damn, even if this attack was just a test, I didn't think I would lose so badly.'

Aaron thought as he looked at the other hooded figure in the shadows.

"... Hahahahahaha! You didn't think that was all my strength, right? You idiot ..."

Exclaimed Aaron as he let out a crazy laugh. Aaron then took a pill from his dimensional ring and chewed it.

'What is it?'

Maximus exclaimed in his thoughts.

"AHhhhhhhhhHhhhhHhh!"

Aaron screamed in agony as a demonic aura came out of his body, that aura was very evil and contained an unlimited murderous intent.

Soon, a transformation took place in Aaron's body. His sclera was dark and the iris red. His hair stretched to his knees, and he looked like a real demon.

While snapping his neck, Aaron flew at a much higher than normal speed toward Maximus who had no reaction.

* Booooom *

With a sound explosion, Maximus was sent flying and collided with a wall.

* Cough * * cough *

While vomiting blood, Maximus saw that three more men and one woman joined him.

"Looks like you need us, my King."

Said the Phoenix clan matriarch, smiling.

"Yes."

Whispered Maximus, embarrassed. As a king, he should show majesty and strength, but here he was lying on the ground.

"Kukuku! More of your bugs."

Exclaimed Aaron, smiling in contempt.

"Damn, this fight will be interesting…"

Indra whispered in anxiety, but still showing a little worry in her eyes.

'I hope you win, old man.'

Even if little, Indra had still developed a little affection for her father, even though Maximus was a fool and almost always stupid, he always showed concern and love for his family.

"You dared to attack my son, I will kill you."

Exclaimed Maximus in seriousness.

"Kukuku! You know, your mistake was thinking I came alone."

Aaron answered as he snapped his fingers.

* Woosh *

With great speed, a shadow passed over Maximus and headed toward Indra.

"Not!"

Maximus shouted angrily, but with no reaction time for this very fast masked figure.

Unconsciously, Indra activated her Sharingan. As he saw the enemy approaching very quickly, he tried to move, but his body looked like a statue. This was not fear, but as an ordinary human, he had no strength or speed to defend himself.

"Hmm?"

Indra exclaimed as she watched the enemy freeze and, in the next moment, cracking like a mirror and falling to the ground.

* Crack *

With a loud crash, the enemy fell to the ground and turned thousands of pieces of broken glass.

"Who?"

Asked Indra as he felt a presence behind him.

"Mom?"

Indra asked as he fell to the ground, but before losing consciousness he saw his mother eliminating Aaron very easily.

"Where am I?"

Asked Indra.

"This is the library of heaven, but what's that?"

Indra noticed that it was in his consciousness, he saw the library of heaven, however, that was not what caught his attention.

On the horizon, he saw an approaching storm.

Lightning flashed as the thunder echoed and the heavy rain fell to the ground. It was as if the end of the world was approaching.

"Son, have you woken up yet?"

Lilith asked with a smile.

While delivering Indra's coffee, Lilith said that she would begin her training today, as the world was a very dangerous place, and he needed to be strong.

However, she had some conditions. The first was that he would not use his strength against the innocent and weaker. The second was that he should not stray from his path and look for easier ways. And last, but not least, was that he trained his base and Qi control above all.

"Also, I don't want you to activate those eyes again, at least until you have enough Qi and that doesn't use your life force."

Lilith spoke seriously.

"Yeah ... but won't you ask about those eyes?"

Since Indra was not an idiot, he knew he would not deceive his mother, just as he knew that she and her father had already seen their eyes at the ceremony.

"No, I'll wait for you to tell me on your own, I wouldn't force you to anything."

Lilith spoke as she walked to the exit. But just before leaving, she looked at Indra and said;

"I am very proud of you."

Late afternoon;

At this point, Indra was with her mother giving her a basic lesson on cultivation.

According to her, cultivation was divided into three kingdoms: Martial Practitioner, Martial Warrior, and Martial Commander. And they were divided into 10 stages.

An example was the Woody clan patriarch, he was a 5th stage Martial Commander. While the Phoenix clan matriarch, she was a 6th-stage Martial Commander.

The cultivators also used energy that was called Qi e, which was stored in a person's dantian. Imagine this, you have a bottle of water, and as you train, feed, or meditate, it will get fuller and fuller until in a moment it will be completely full.

Of course, with his cultivation knowledge, Indra already knew about it, just as he also knew that there were many more kingdoms that appeared to him and that he was a frog at the bottom of a well, just like everyone in this realm.

"There will always be one sky above another…"

Indra whispered with a smile, after all, it wouldn't be funny if he started from the top. He enjoyed the feeling of getting stronger, battling and overcoming enemies, especially with one of his favorite powers, the Sharingan.
